What is WoW? World of Warcraft (WoW) is a classic MMORPG that has been keeping its players entertained for years with ever-new updates. The current addon Battle for Azeroth will receive the long-awaited Update 8.2 “Rise of Azshara” on June 26, 2019.

In it, you can expect a ton of new features because the “patch” is one of the largest updates World of Warcraft has ever seen.
What’s new in World of Warcraft 8.2?
Update 8.2 “Rise of Azshara” will bring some cool new content to the game. The highlights of the update are:
- A new story about the return of the Naga Queen Azshara
- A new raid “Eternal Palace” where you will battle against Queen Azshara
- Two completely new areas, namely Nazjatar, the realm of the Naga, and Mechagon, where you can expect many new toys.
- Now you can finally unlock flying in Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
In addition, there will be many new quests, adjustments, a companion system, and new abilities for the Heart of Azeroth.
Why you should play WoW 8.2
As always, the release of a new WoW update is a reason for fans to log back into the game. Moreover, the update offers a plethora of new features that will keep you in Azeroth for many hours.
Even those who have not completed the raid (yet) will find enough to do, as they search thoroughly through the two new areas and unlock and find all the goodies.
