To operate in secrecy, he must not stand out. He leads the perfect double life: In his daily life, he consciously plays the role of an absolute average person. He looks normal, has average grades, and loses many of his fights to avoid drawing attention to himself.
However, he has secretly trained his magical abilities since infancy, which is why he is actually the most powerful being in his world. As the secret persona Shadow, he saves many beings, just anonymously.
