The Elder Scrolls Online – 2019 expects great things for players
What is The Elder Scrolls Online? ESO is a theme park MMORPG set in the world of The Elder Scrolls. The story takes place centuries before Skyrim and co., providing plenty of room for our own stories.
What’s new in The Elder Scrolls Online?
In 2018, ESO was expanded with four major content additions that provided players with numerous hours of fun.
The following features have been added:
- Dragon Bones expanded ESO with two new dungeons themed around dragons.
- Summerset gave players the opportunity to travel to the island of the High Elves. There, they encounter intrigue, racism, and a deep insight into High Elf culture.
- Wolfhunter brought two new werewolf dungeons. In the Moon Hunter’s Stead, you must assist the Silver Dawn Order, while in the March of Sacrifice, you traverse the hunting grounds of the Daedric Prince Hircine.
- Murkmire was the last expansion in 2018. Players can travel to Black Marsh and immerse themselves in Argonian culture.
Some players may wish for major innovations, such as new weapons or classes. However, ESO simply takes a different approach and consistently provides its players with new quests and stories around Tamriel.
Why should one play ESO?
ESO offers these PvE contents: The Elder Scrolls Online has been steadily expanded with new content over the last four years. However, unlike other MMOs, this content is not tied to a specific level.
Those starting with ESO can explore all expansions from the beginning. The enemies’ level is adjusted to the character level. This way, players can create their own experience from the numerous expansions if they do not feel like playing the base game’s story.
ESO offers these PvP contents: But even for PvP fans, The Elder Scrolls Online has plenty to offer. A massive map created specifically for PvP invites players to fight for one of three alliances and capture areas on the map.
Players can also sign up for Battlegrounds, where three teams compete for victory in different game modes.
ESO appeals to many different player types. You can play the MMO both solo and in a group. The Elder Scrolls Online offers different content for every play style.
In the coming year, The Elder Scrolls Online will continue to receive new content. ESO will turn five in 2019 and this should be celebrated accordingly.
