In World of Warcraft, you can currently snag a lot of bonus reputation. There are double reputation points available with a variety of factions.
In World of Warcraft, we are approaching the last days of the expansion Battle for Azeroth. In less than two months, the next addon Shadowlands will be released, and even weeks before the big pre-patch arrives. To kick off the final days, Blizzard has now reintroduced one of the most popular buffs for the entire month of September. There is again a 100% additional reputation with many factions.
What kind of buff is this? The effect “Impressive Influence” has been active since midnight and increases the reputation gained from all sources by a whopping 100%. This applies not only to the major reputation factions of Battle for Azeroth but also to the factions of Legion. So, if you still have old tasks pending and want to grab rewards, make sure to take advantage of September.
What is new this time? Unlike the first time, the buff now also supports the two new reputation factions from Visions of N’Zoth. You can also collect additional reputation points with the Rajani and the Accord of Uldum. This allows you to quickly farm coveted essences at rank 4 or simply collect some of the reputation rewards such as pets and toys before these contents become irrelevant.
Which factions are not affected? Not affected are special reputation factions, such as the Beehive in Stormsong Valley or the Revenge of the Claw on Highmountain. For these factions, the normal reputation gain still applies. The general rule of thumb is: if you can earn a Paragon chest through a faction, then the reputation gain is currently doubled.
Farming gold through reputation: If you make good use of the buff and complete the emissary quests daily with several characters, you can even earn a nice sum of gold. Because with exalted status, all major factions in Battle for Azeroth give a Paragon chest at 10,000 additional reputation points. This contains between 3,500 and 5,000 gold. While there are more effective methods of farming gold, this can be done comfortably on the side, as only world quests need to be completed.
Will you use the reputation buff to raise a few factions to exalted? Or is it no longer worth it for you in Shadowlands?
