The latest update for World of Warcraft is live. We will tell you what you should definitely do in patch 12.0.7.
The story of World of Warcraft Midnight continues in patch 12.0.7, which is now live. If you are reading this, the servers are either still offline due to maintenance work or the patch 12.0.7 titled “Revelations” is already live. To make sure you don’t miss anything, we will tell you what you should definitely do first so you don’t fall behind.
2 Mini-areas invite with heroic mode
What should you do today in patch 12.0.7? Basically, there are two tasks to complete that you should try to finish as soon as possible to take advantage of the new content:
- Visit Magister Umbric and Rommath to unlock the Omnium of the Sunwalkers (“Omniumfoliant”). Here you can choose an upgrade for your character every week that will remain active for the rest of Midnight. So, this is a “Borrowed Power” system.
- Visit the Void Elf Maella. In the meantime, she has investigated the invasions of the Void and identified the leaders. After a small questline, you will unlock the two mini-areas Neigtal and Val, which also have a heroic difficulty.
What else is there to do? There is no real time pressure concerning most of the content of patch 12.0.7. The first season of Midnight is coming to an end anyway, so you can take all the time you need. However, if you want to “stay in the game”, we recommend you play the following content in the coming weeks:
- Visit the Sporefall raid once a week to earn a new mount after 4 weeks.
- Complete the new Void Search questline to learn everything about the Loa – the god-like beings worshiped by many trolls.
- Participate in the “Turbulent Timeways” event as soon as it starts. This is a time walk every week that rewards you with a child of Vyranoth as a mount at the end.
- Visit the ritual sites at level 6. Here you can farm mythic badges completely solo and equip your character.
What’s coming next? With a few weeks delay, new story quests will be added in early July. Then you can experience how the story around Zul’Jan continues, which ultimately leads into the events of patch 12.1. Although there is no concrete information yet, we already know that we will most likely head to the east of Zul’Aman, where we can prepare a new area.
What plans do you have for the first night in patch 12.0.7? Are you going to check out the two mini-areas first? Or are you diving directly into the new Sporefall raid and hoping to get the best gear? Or are you taking it easy and first leisurely playing through the story of the Loa?
