Although WoW: Forever now offers its own damage statistics (DpS meter), it misses one important piece of information: the current threat of all characters in a group. Therefore, Details! remains essential.
In Gameplay / Advanced Options / Damage Display you will find the DPS meter from WoW: Forever. It also includes other useful functions that have long been taken over by external addons, such as the swing timer or a cooldown manager. However, what it does not have is a threat display.
In the dungeons and raids of classic WoW, it is crucial to know how much threat you generate compared to your teammates. If you overdo it, you will inadvertently grab the attention of enemies and end up at the spirit healer faster than you can say “I have aggro, please taunt!”.
Therefore, you should definitely get an addon that provides you with such a threat display. And Details! not only delivers a powerful DPS meter, but also “Tiny Threat,” which is both eye-catching and a proven mod for aggro. You can, of course, continue to use the DPS meter with all its features or hide it.
By the way, we tend to use Details! as a DPS meter as well. The addon is simply very powerful and displays, for example, the healing done, which spells caused overhealing, why the group took so much damage, or which character interrupted enemy spells the most. From this wealth of data, helpful information can be derived to help eliminate mistakes or defeat an unknown boss.
