While WoW: Forever now offers its own damage statistics (DpS meter), it misses one important piece of information: the current threat of all characters in a group. Details! thus remains a must.
Under Gameplay / Advanced Options / Damage Display, you will find the DPS meter from WoW: Forever. There are also other useful features that were long taken over by external addons, such as the swing timer or a cooldown manager. However, what is not available there is a threat display.
In the dungeons and raids of classic WoW, it is crucial to know how much threat you generate compared to your teammates. If you overdo it, you unintentionally attract the attention of enemies and end up at the spirit healer faster than you can say “I have aggro, please taunt!”
Therefore, you should definitely get an addon that provides you with such a threat display. And Details! not only offers a powerful DPS meter, but also with “Tiny Threat” a conspicuous yet proven mod for aggro. You can continue to use or hide the DPS meter with all its features, of course.
By the way, we tend to use Details! as a DPS meter. The addon is simply very powerful and shows, for example, the healing done, which spells caused overhealing, why the group received so much damage, or which character interrupted enemy spells how often. From this wealth of statistics, helpful information can be derived that helps eliminate mistakes or defeat an as-yet-unknown boss.
