MMORPGs are known for their large game worlds, but some representatives of the genre take it to the next level: MeinMMO takes you in the video to the 13 largest maps.
What is this list based on? In the games mentioned here, it’s not the size of the game world in square kilometers that matters, but how much time you can spend in it before you’ve discovered every corner of the map. Many developers do not disclose exact figures regarding the size of their MMORPG.

What will be covered in the video? Whether you’re traversing a dense fantasy world like in Black Desert Online or exploring the seemingly infinite expanses of space in EVE Online, it doesn’t matter: The main point is that the world is large and offers new corners to marvel at even after a long time.
If possible, we also mention specific estimates in the video. So if you’re interested in how big Azeroth in World of Warcraft or Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings Online is – you will learn both and much more in the video. By the way: The latter is said to be as large as a neighboring country of Germany, according to one estimate.
Albion Online, an MMORPG from Germany, is also represented on the list. It makes it onto the list thanks to its large, and especially lively game world. The MMORPG changes over time and is dynamically shaped by the players – where nothing stands today, there could be more going on tomorrow.
