About Us: MeinMMO is one of the largest gaming sites in the German-speaking region. But we don’t just write about patch notes and release dates – we are interested in the people behind them. We love the stories that the internet writes: from heartwarming indie successes to quirky gaming phenomena to the big and small dramas of the digital world.
Our focus is on the social aspects of gaming. In this area, we are looking for experts on the lives of digital natives. We want to illuminate the tension between generations (Millennials, Boomers, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha) – how they live, argue, communicate, and create culture online. For this, we are looking for you as a creative mind and trend scout!
Your Tasks:
- Understanding Digital Natives: You analyze how the generations that grew up with the internet shape the web and pop culture. You track down trends on TikTok, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, and Roblox.
- Human Storytelling & Generation Clash: You turn anonymous internet phenomena into compelling stories. You show where the life realities of “original digital natives” (Millennials) collide with those of Gen Z and the completely mobile Gen Alpha.
- Content Creation: You independently write click-worthy, well-researched, and entertaining articles (from quick trend news to viral memes to in-depth analyses of the changes in our digital society).
Your Profile:
- Deep Expertise in Digital Life Worlds: You understand the psychology and behavior of digital natives. You know the nostalgia of Millennials, the humor of Gen Z, and the hyper-digital viewing habits of Gen Alpha.
- The MeinMMO Perspective: You have a knack for “human interest” stories. You see not just a viral video, a new emote, or a meme word, but the human story or cultural conflict behind it.
- Writing Talent: You craft compelling headlines that provoke curiosity and promise an exciting story.
- Reliability & Proactive Communication: As a freelancer, you work independently and meet deadlines. You communicate transparently and proactively approach us with topic suggestions.
