On June 30, Lost Ark received a major update and introduced the Legion Raid of the fearsome Commander Vykas into the game. On MeinMMO, you can see gameplay of the new most challenging boss fight in the trailer.
What does the trailer show? The new trailer for the June update of Lost Ark goes into detail about the so-called Legion Raids and clarifies what kind of opponents you can expect with the fearsome commanders.
The main focus is on Commander Vykas (see minute 02:00), whose raid is part of the major June update of Lost Ark. In the fight against the boss opponent, you must coordinate within your group, solve puzzles, and avoid her strong area attacks.
What do you need for a Legion Raid? You should pay attention to the correct gear score, as the Legion Raids are among the most difficult content in Lost Ark. To challenge Vykas, you need a gear score of 1,430 or 1,460 for the hard mode.
Additionally, your group must consist of eight players and be able to communicate well with each other.
How does a Legion Raid work? First, your group gathers in any large city at the crystal ball of the Legion Raid and starts an assault there.
The Legion Raid that follows consists of several phases, all of which have unique mechanics that present you with various challenges. These phases also serve as check-points to leave the raid and continue later from there.
At the end of a Legion Raid, you will face a particularly difficult boss fight with a commander – for the new raid, this is Commander Vykas. But before you can challenge Vykas, you must fight against Incubus Morphe. In this encounter, your group is split and must once again prove teamwork and communication.
If you successfully complete a Legion Raid, you will receive legendary and relic crafting materials, gold, and recipes.
