Some goals can take a while in Pokémon GO. A trainer reports that he waited 10 years and has now been rewarded well.
Since always, there have been monsters in Pokémon GO that are rare and represent a great interest for trainers. This includes not only rare costumed monsters but also shiny variants of legendary monsters. Especially rare and sought after is the combination of a legendary shiny monster with perfect stats, a so-called Shundo (Shiny + Hundo).
That sometimes you need a bit of patience to catch such an example is shown by a trainer on Reddit. But the wait has definitely paid off for him.
10 years of Pokémon GO, 1 Shundo
What kind of Pokémon is this? As the trainer writes, he has been playing Pokémon GO for 10 years now. During this time he has reached level 70 and performed 80 lucky trades, during which you have an increased chance of good IVs. But in all that time, he has not managed to obtain a Shundo.
This has now changed. As seen in the video on Reddit, he was finally able to fill this gap in his collection. And it was worth it. He received no less than a Mewtwo as shiny with perfect stats.

If you watch the video, you’ll see that at first he wants to use a Premier Ball for the catch. However, while he is already spinning the ball, he decides to switch and instead throws the Master Ball. This would actually not have been necessary, as shiny legendaries from raids can always be caught with the first hitting ball.
Whether he was not aware of this in the excitement or whether he simply wanted to use the best ball for what is probably the best Shundo in the game is unknown. In this context, Natganistan also comments on the post: “Shundo Mewtwo deserves to live in a Master Ball.”
