Star Scraper / Star Scraper Mk-R
The inner Bob the Builder of every MMORPG player will rejoice at the sight of the two Star Scraper mounts: With the Star Scraper and the Star Scraper Mk-R, you get two real loaders as mounts.
The Star Scraper itself is the original, painted in traditional construction yellow with a large shovel that unfortunately can’t really move rubble and debris back and forth. At least: The Star Scraper Mk-R is the newer, but unfortunately not more functional model. However, the Mk-R is red!
These two mounts are also currently owned by very few players: the standard version has at least 2.9%, while the latest model has only 1.1%. The yellow beauty can drop as a reward during the Cosmos explorations. You can buy the Mk-R for 20,000 Cosmos coal in the context of the explorations.
Magic Card
The next mount is currently owned by very few players: Only 2.9% can call the magic card their own. And all these players have one thing in common – they sought the in-game card game Triple Triad. Much like Gwent in The Witcher 3 or Horizon: Forbidden West with machine battles, Final Fantasy XIV features a whole range of mini-games within the MMORPG.
Triple Triad lets you collect cards from NPCs and monsters, which you can then use to challenge NPCs or other players. The Magic Card is awarded for collecting cards number 1 through 312. Some can be bought, but most are rewards from quests, raid drops, or victories over NPC foes. Accordingly, it takes a long time to acquire all the cards.
And what kind of mount is the Magic Card now? Exactly that: a huge Triple Triad card on which your character sits and flies through the world.
Magic Bed / Magic Children’s Bed
Lastly, we want to introduce you to a pair of mounts: the Magic Bed and the Magic Children’s Bed. Both are, as the name implies, pieces of furniture. In fact, they look incredibly similar to the actual housing item Forest Bed. One might think the developers took the easy route here.
So the two mounts are essentially floating or flying beds that allow for the comfiest journey through the MMORPG. The item description for the Magic Bed is also very clear: This flying bed makes the morning trip to the bakery much easier.

The Magic Bed itself is already the comfortable traveling medium for 15% of players in Final Fantasy XIV. However, it can also be built by a carpenter at level 80. The Magic Children’s Bed is a bit trickier: only 2.5% of players have put the one Khloe Gold Certificate
and the 600 Dream Leaves for the cream-colored variant on the table.
By the way, there should be some news about Final Fantasy XIV soon: On April 17, fresh information about patch 7.5 was released, which is set to come out at the end of the month. Additionally, the first fan festival of the 2026 series is scheduled for the weekend of April 24 and 25. Presumably, there will be some new information regarding the upcoming expansion 8.0.
