In a new developer video about Fallout 76, the next major update is introduced. What to expect in Skyline Valley, you can find out here.
In June 2024, the next major update for Fallout 76, Skyline Valley, is set to be released. This focuses primarily on a new wasteland region. What players can expect there has been presented by the developers in a 3-minute video.
What can you expect after the update? The update in June will send you to a new wasteland region inspired by the real-life Shenandoah region in the USA. In the video, Jonathan Rush, the Creative Director of Fallout 76, guides you through this new area and reports on what you can expect there.
The new content is available to all wasteland adventurers regardless of your level and experience in the game. If you are interested in the full update notes, you can find them on the official website (via fallout.bethesda.net).
As the video shows, with the update, you will be sent directly into a dangerous electric storm, where you will find the entrance to the mysterious Vault 63 in its eye. A vault inhabited by ghouls, proudly led by an Overseer. This Overseer is one of the new electrified ghouls known as the “Lost”.
The Lost actually live in their own reality and cannot communicate outward. However, the developers do not want to reveal why this particular Overseer is an exception ahead of the update.
Finally, the video introduces three new robo-brains, known as storm goliaths. These were developed by the scientists in Vault 63. In addition to new locations where you can set up your camp, new animals are waiting for you in Skyline Valley, such as the wild turkey. Not only in Vault 63, but also behind the doors of other vaults, some nasty things are happening: In Fallout, there are over 100 vaults with nasty experiments – here are the worst ones
