The next event in Pokémon GO runs for 3 weeks – What’s inside?

Pokémon GO wants to keep you engaged. An event is coming that will be filled with content for three weeks. What can you expect?

What kind of event is it? The event is called A Summer Full of Adventures and follows your team leaders Blanche, Spark, and Candela. But don’t worry: For this event, it seems to be irrelevant whether you play on the blue, yellow, or red team.

When does the event start? It starts on May 26, but the event is divided into three parts.

• Blanche’s Search for Knowledge: May 26, 10:00 AM to June 1, 8:00 PM
• Spark’s Hatching Mission: June 2, 10:00 AM to June 8, 8:00 PM
• Candela’s Victory Mission: June 9, 10:00 AM to June 15, 8:00 PM

These three weeks will be filled with different content. Among other things, costumed Pokémon will be available. We will summarize which ones they are.

Blanche’s Search for Knowledge – what’s included?

Blanche’s journey primarily relies on the use of incense and various field research.

The highlight: This event part brings the Lapras in the style of Blanche. It wears a small bow and can be found via the GO Pass.

The GO Pass: During the Blanche section, the GO Pass brings you not only the costume Lapras but also encounters with Vaporeon, Larvitar, and other Pokémon that may have a team wisdom background. The milestones give you an extra candy on Rank 1 when you evolve Pokémon, as well as an increased chance of XL candies. On Rank 2, you double the duration of incense.

The Pokémon: In the wild, you will encounter the following monsters. Possible Shinies are marked with asterisks* as usual.

Spark’s Hatching Mission

The title already shows: This is about hatching eggs. This is the focus of the Spark section of the event.

The highlight: A Spark Elekid hides in the GO Pass. It bears the emblem of Team Instinct.

The GO Pass: In the GO Pass, you will meet not only Elekid but also Jolteon and Galarian Corsola, as well as more Pokémon that may have an Instinct background. On Rank 1 of the milestones, you will receive half the hatching distance for your incubators, Rank 2 brings 1.5 times candies when hatching. The Deluxe Pass adds 1.5 times hatching Stardust to the second rank.

The Pokémon: In the wild, the following will appear:

From 7 km eggs, the following will hatch:

Candela’s Victory Mission

The final segment with Candela revolves around battling, primarily in raids.

The highlight: In the GO Pass, you will meet a Candela Ponyta wearing a collar.

The GO Pass: Flareon and Rockruff appear alongside the costume Ponyta in the pass. Additionally, you will receive further Pokémon with a chance for a Valor background. The first bonus at Rank 1 is an increased attack bonus when you battle with friends in raids, and the second is 1.5 times raid Stardust. With the Deluxe GO Pass, you receive up to two daily raid passes from gyms.
