The developers of Path of Exile 2 have announced the next patch for the ARPG. With one change, the game will become much easier.
What kind of patch is this? The new patch 0.1.1c is set to be released in Path of Exile 2 this week. The developers are focusing on improving the game’s quality as well as some bug fixes.
The new update is expected to go live on Thursdays or Fridays. The last patches were also released on these weekdays. However, an important change in the update will benefit everyone.

How does the update help you? After the hardest boss in the game, the Arbiter of Ash, was changed weeks ago, this is now happening with other bosses in the game. The boss fights in the areas “Twisted Domain” and “Crux of Nothingness” as well as the fight against “Olroth, Origin of the Fall” will now have five attempts instead of just one as before.
This gives you the opportunity to approach the boss multiple times if your character dies on the first attempt. This is beneficial for many players, as there have been recent complaints that the more challenging content in Path of Exile 2 is being neglected by gamers because the death of the character is punished so harshly.
The respawn mechanic will function exactly like with the Arbiter of Ash, with the exact number of attempts depending on the difficulty level.
What else is supposed to change? In addition to the changes to the hardest bosses in the game, there will be further small improvements. The update will also show icons for Strongboxes on the minimap. Additionally, the icons for league mechanics will always be visible on the minimap, regardless of how far you move away from them.
Several maps are expected to receive more checkpoints and the current checkpoint positions are to be improved. Minions will soon be able to squeeze through small gaps if they have been stuck for a certain amount of time beforehand.
Along with some bug fixes, the new update will also introduce a new slash command. With /ResetAtlas you will soon be able to reset your atlas if it’s broken. For controller players, the font size will also be adjusted and navigation through items will be improved.
