Currently, the “ETF Mission” is running in The Division. In the meantime, Massive is working on issues.
From January 11 to January 13, part of the Massive team is in the USA along with the ETF to discuss Update 1.6 and upcoming changes in PvP at the “Red Storm” studios. The ETF consists of community representatives who applied for this mission and are now bringing their ideas and feedback to the developers.
Today, on January 12, no server maintenance took place. The weekly livestream, the “State of the Game”, is expected to be held again next week. The community manager Hamish Bode, who leads the situation report, was onboard towards the USA.
Known Issues in The Division
In recent days, new problems have been added to the “Known Issues” list. On this list, every agent can see which bugs the developers are currently investigating and for which a fix has already been found.
Two annoyances need closer examination:
- Connection issues on PS4: Some agents get stuck on the loading screen when trying to log in. A possible solution is to reconnect with the Ubisoft account. However, the problem is still being investigated by Massive.
- Survival loot: It can happen that items suddenly disappear from the inventory when they have been shared or dropped by a player. The lost item may reappear if another item from the corresponding slot is equipped.

These new issues have already been investigated and can be reproduced. Fixes are in progress:
- Delays when healing: Sometimes the agent heals later than intended: When taking cover or leaving cover, and when shot while standing or running.
- Issues with skills: The weapon talents Expert, Capable, and Competent do not function with the skills Turret and Support Station. When these skills are active, the effects of the talents are not triggered.
In addition, there is a problem with the Base Operations items and with blue Division tech: This also drops from named NPCs in higher DZ classes. A solution for the Division tech has already been found, and it will be implemented with the next patch.
By the way: We cannot expect fresh information on 1.6 and Last Stand just yet. Massive has already announced that the feedback from the ETF trip must first be considered. Then a PTS phase will start.
There are already some datamining leaks regarding 1.6: Possibly, the Central Park as a DZ extension and standalone PvP modes.
