At 7 vs. Wild, there was a premiere for the participants, but one candidate was not invited. Fans do not believe it was a coincidence.
What was special about the premiere? While the viewers still have to wait a bit before the first episode of 7 vs. Wild is released, the candidates, former participants, and other selected individuals were able to see the first episode already.
A “Release Party” took place at Joe Kelly’s home, where the candidates reunited after their journey to 7 vs. Wild. However, one participant was not invited to the premiere.

Why was a person not invited to the premiere? Although the premiere was hosted by the organization, it took place at the home of survival legend Joe Kelly. When sending out invitations, outdoor expert Stefan Hinkelmann from Survival_Deutschland was likely simply forgotten.
However, Hinkelmann himself does not believe that and mentions in a Twitch stream that he was omitted from information and never received an invitation. “[…] I don’t know how it will be, I was uninvited from the event […]” he said shortly before the premiere in his stream.
According to participant Joe Vogel (via Reddit), other participants also did not receive an explicit invitation to the event; instead, everyone except Stefan Hinkelmann from Survival_Deutschland apparently asked again and received the missing information.

Why didn’t he ask? There are several reasons, which are repeatedly hinted at in comments by Joe Vogel on Reddit and in his videos on YouTube. According to Joe Vogel, Stefan Hinkelmann has been on his block list for ten years.
The reason for the block is “telephone terror,” because according to Joe Vogel (via Reddit), Hinkelmann constantly called him until it became too much. For this reason, Joe Vogel could not mediate and pass on the information.
Another reason why Hinkelmann may not have asked is that he was never officially informed about this event, as users describe in a summary of his stream on Reddit.
Missing Tag and Dispute at 7 vs. Wild
Wasn’t this all just a silly mishap? The fans are not so sure. Because even on the Instagram post, which is no longer online, the candidates of 7 vs. Wild were tagged as participants of the premiere, but there was also no mention of Stefan Hinkelmann here.
This is further supported by statements from Joe Vogel. In his video on YouTube, he described the group dynamics at 7 vs. Wild and also expressed several negative comments about Stefan Hinkelmann on Reddit.
He hints in several posts on Reddit that Hinkelmann instrumentalizes other people (via Reddit), that nobody wants to have anything to do with him (via Reddit), and contradicts Hinkelmann’s version of the story that he was deliberately uninvited.
Who is really right in this dispute cannot conclusively be stated. It is, however, strange that the candidates received their invitations from Joey Kelly and not from the “7 vs. Wild” organization. After all, this is the official premiere, even if it takes place on Joey Kelly’s property.
