Scars of Honor
Developer: Beast Burst Entertainment | Platform: PC and Mobile | Release Period for the West: 2026 (with early access start in Q1 2026) | Payment Model: Free2Play | Status: in development | Chance of success in the West: 40%—the failed Kickstarter campaign shows that hardly anyone believes in the project
The development of Scars of Honor began in 2021. The first assets looked so much like World of Warcraft that the MMORPG was quickly branded by some players as a ‘cheap WoW clone for PC and Mobile’.
The developers promise a “Free2Play model” without pay-to-win elements. There will be ten classes and eight races. A localization is also planned for German. Key features include scalable dungeons and raids, guild halls, diplomacy, large PvP battles, and in-game land ownership.
A good sign: the project is growing and thriving despite a failed Kickstarter campaign in March 2024. In May, significant technical upgrades were implemented, the team was expanded to 70 employees, and over 120,000 account registrations for the MMORPG were celebrated.
Regular updates and testing phases highlight that development is progressing. A complete release is aimed for 2026, according to the timeline.
