Place 1: White Walkers
Most people in Westeros consider the White Walkers to be a pure myth. But they are perhaps the greatest threat that Westeros has ever faced.
Originally, the White Walkers were created by the Children of the Forest to defend against the first men. However, the magical creation got out of control and became a dark, dangerous force.
In battle, the White Walkers, despite their gaunt appearance, are immensely strong. They possess supernatural powers and can knock back humans several feet with a single blow. Aside from their physical superiority, they have ice magic that they also use in battle, creating ice spears and chains, for example.
However, their most important ability is to resurrect dead humans and creatures – even dragons – as zombie-like revenants. Thus, they can create a huge army that becomes even stronger with each loss of the enemy.
The White Walkers can only be defeated by Valyrian steel or dragonglass. Aside from that, they are virtually immortal. Even the mighty dragon fire cannot harm them.
