Vesemir is the oldest and most experienced witcher of the Wolf School and thus both leader and mentor. He trained Geralt, Eskel, and Lambert, and is like a father to them.
Vesemir is already several hundred years old. And although he often complains about his old bones, he still sets out every spring to fulfill his work as a monster hunter. So one can well imagine how much experience and especially knowledge the old Witcher has gathered by now.
In combat, Vesemir is primarily a master of swordsmanship. His technique is precise, efficient, and absolutely deadly. Through his many years of experience, he can analyze opponents in the blink of an eye and exploit their weaknesses. Especially at his prime, few witchers could have matched Vesemir. Yet even in old age, he was still a dangerous opponent.
In the battle of Kaer Morhen, he faces a general of the Wild Hunt, among others. To prevent Ciri from surrendering to the enemy, he ultimately sacrifices his life and dies as a hero and absolute legend.
