Starfield is supposed to be a single-player role-playing game in the Bethesda style, just like Skyrim and Fallout 4. It takes place hundreds of years in the future, and humanity has taken the step into space. However, there is currently no detailed information about gameplay and game content. The first trailer was shown at E3 2021, announcing the release for November 11, 2022. The game is set to be released for PC and Xbox Series X/S, but not for PS4, PS5, or any other console. On May 12, 2022, Bethesda announced that the release has been delayed to September 6, 2023.
