You want to learn every skill in Starfield, but you don’t want to farm thousands of hours for XP honestly? Then we have the right guide for you to quickly and effectively collect XP. How to do that and how much XP you need per level is explained here.
What do I need XP for? Depending on what you do in Starfield, you earn XP for your actions. This fills your XP bar, which, when full, grants you a skill point. These skill points are important for unlocking new skills or leveling up old ones.
The higher your level, the more XP you need to collect to achieve a level-up. Therefore, we show you a relaxed way to get XP and Credits without much effort.

Mining resources and crafting items is the key
What do I need to do? The YouTuber Maka91Productions presents a quick method in his video on how you can reach level 100 in 5 hours without cheats. You need to build a farm to mine iron and aluminum.
You can find all the details summarized again in the video:
However, you should not approach this method too early, as you need some skills for the construction of outposts. With these skills, you learn blueprints to build machines for power generation and resource extraction.
In addition, you need a ship with at least 3000 cargo space slots to store your crafted items.
Last but not least, visit the Narion system. There is the planet “Sumati” with the moon “Andraphon”. Now go to this moon and scan the surface until you find an area where iron and aluminum deposits are close together.
Land and try to place an outpost that has both deposits within its radius. This will take some time, but if you succeed, you can start building your base.
Construct aluminum and iron extractors on the deposits and connect them to storage rooms. Additionally, you need to equip the machines with solar panels to supply them with energy. Now build an industrial workbench and a bed next to the workbench.
Sleep for a day and then collect all the resources you gathered. Use these resources to build more storage rooms and connect them again to the extractors. Sleep for another day and now collect the resources to build adaptive frames on your workbench.
You will repeat this process until you reach your desired levels. Adaptive frames that you no longer need can be loaded onto your ship and sold to various merchants.
How much XP do I need per level? It’s not that easy to say. Each additional level you gain increases the amount of XP you need to level up again.
The Reddit user The Enarki has dealt with the subject and calculated that you need a total of 479,365 XP to reach level 100. A sporting amount that can be achieved with the new mining method in just 5 hours.
Have you already reached level 100? And if so, how did you manage that? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
