Son Goku is considered one of the strongest warriors from Dragon Ball Z, if not the strongest. However, he hasn’t actually sent that many opponents to the afterlife in the anime.
In what aspects does Son Goku fall short compared to Vegeta? Although Son Goku is regarded as one of the strongest warriors and is also the protagonist of the anime, he ultimately hasn’t killed that many opponents. Rather, it is even Vegeta who has sent some of his defeated enemies to the afterlife.
Son Goku has only two enemies that he has definitively killed:
- On one hand, he burst Yakon, the energy absorber on Babidi’s ship, by overloading him with so much Super Saiyan energy that his enemy couldn’t handle it.
- On the other hand, he ultimately defeated Kid Buu with his Genkidama.
All other enemies were taken out by other characters like Piccolo, Vegeta, or Trunks. Even Cell was not defeated by Goku, but by his son Son Gohan.
Even after joining the Z team, he remained a ruthless killer, albeit significantly less dangerous. Among others, he killed Android C-19 and Pui Pui, one of Babidi’s lackeys.
