The Twitch streamer shroud is looking at a car in Forza Horizon 6 that costs over 20 million euros, but he can’t afford it – at least in the game.
Who is it about?
- Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is a well-known Twitch streamer and former CS:GO and Valorant pro.
- On Twitch, shroud has over 11 million followers and averaged 8,200 simultaneous viewers over the past 3 months (via Sullygnome).
- The streamer is particularly known for his extraordinarily good aim in shooters, but he occasionally plays other games such as Diablo 4 or Crimson Desert.
Last week, shroud played the new Forza Horizon 6 on stream and made a small, casual brag about his wealth.
This is what it’s like with the sports car: In the Twitch stream from May 17, 2026, shroud looked at the 1997 McLaren F1 GT in Forza Horizon 6. He noted that it costs 5,500,000 credits in the game and he can’t afford the car. At the time, the streamer only had 912,000 credits.
When shroud noticed his poverty in Forza Horizon, he commented with a smile: “Isn’t it crazy that I can’t afford it in the game, but I can in real life? Somewhat messed up.”
While the McLaren F1 GT is firmly in the possession of collectors in real life and has never been offered at a public auction, even the street version of the McLaren F1 is among the most expensive cars ever sold.
In the past, collectors have repeatedly paid between 10 and 20 million euros for the British sports car. In 2025, an F1 was even sold at an RM SOTHEBY auction for the equivalent of about 21.7 million euros.
If shroud knows the real value of the F1 GT or at least the F1, it suggests that he has at least 10 million euros in the bank. This sum could come from his move to the former streaming platform “Mixer”.
Shroud and Ninja switched to Mixer in 2019 and are said to have received up to 40 million US dollars for 3-5 years there. However, Mixer was unsuccessful and was shut down.
In Forza Horizon 6, there are not only expensive super sports cars, but also small, affordable cars that you can absurdly tune. Our editor Dariusz has raced with the smallest road-legal car in the world: I chased a pink tricycle with 800 hp through Japan in Forza Horizon 6 and failed the Elchtest
