The streamer Maxim participated in the WoW-Twitch event Sauercrowd and it brought him quite a lot during the otherwise weaker months on Twitch. In a video on YouTube, he talks about how the last six months have been for him as a content creator.
Who is it about? Maxim is a German Twitch streamer with over 500,000 followers (source: Twitch). In the last six months, he has averaged 3,187 viewers in his streams according to SullyGnome, spending the most time with 347 hours in World of Warcraft.
The streamer was a key part of the WoW Twitch event Sauercrowd and was regarded as the best main tank of the guild
. However, he lost his character before level 60.
How did Sauercrowd help Maxim? What the WoW Twitch event meant for Maxim otherwise, he brought up in a YouTube video. In January, Maxim gained over 500 followers in just one stream, as he played WoW together with Metashi12.
Not only did Sauercrowd enrich Maxim in terms of numbers, but also emotionally. He enjoyed the WoW event very much, got to meet new people, and had a lot of fun playing the game.
However, Maxim had to admit at the same time that he streamed a lot more than usual because of Sauercrowd (205 hours of stream time plus other commitments as a streamer in total), which he describes as mentally dangerous

What else does Maxim say? Maxim concludes in his video that he has to notice that he averages 160 hours of streaming time per month, even though he would consider himself retired
. That corresponds to about a full-time job with 40 hours a week.
There are also more working hours in which he takes care of other obligations such as shoots or preparations for jobs as a content creator.

What are the weak months on Twitch? Content creators can expect, according to their own statements, that earnings won’t be as high in January and February as in other months of the year. Maxim explains this by saying that marketing budgets from companies are not yet established and thus, at the beginning of the year, there are only a few advertising assignments (placements) available for content creators.
According to the Twitch streamer, YouTube ad revenues are also supposed to be lower. That’s why fixed partners, whose contracts and payments extend over a longer period, are so important according to Maxim.
