The Twitch streamer shroud has not been live for 3 weeks. He ended his last stream with the words that he doesn’t know what to do daily.
This is how the last stream went: The American streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek was last online on Twitch on Friday, July 24, 2026, when he participated in a Twitch Rivals tournament in the tactical shooter Valorant.
In the Valorant tournament, he played as team leader alongside streamers QuarterJade, xChocoBars, emilyywang, and bnan, but was eliminated in Round 1. Initially, Team shroud lost to Subroza’s team and then had to concede to iiTzTimmy’s team in the Losers Bracket, ending their run early.
Part of the crew continued to play Valorant together for a few hours, even though the tournament was over for them at that point. Later, shroud ended the stream and has not returned to Twitch since.
What did he say when he closed the stream? When shroud ended the stream on July 24, he stated that he didn’t know if he would play anything over the weekend, let alone stream. He hinted that he might take a break over the weekend:
“I don’t know if I’ll play it this weekend. I really don’t know if I’ll go live. I really don’t know what I’m doing day to day. I need to refocus and get this together. Maybe I need the weekend for that, we’ll see. […]
Furthermore, he mentioned that he would mainly base it on how he feels and whether he feels like playing any game. If not, then he won’t go online.
“It might be that I stream this weekend, but it might not, no plan. It depends on how I feel. It depends on whether I feel like it. I just go with the vibe. If I want to play a game, I just go live spontaneously and play.”
Where is shroud and when will he be back? This remains unclear as he did not specify how long he will actually not be streaming. However, some Twitch users report on social media that shroud has played Tarkov with friends streamers like Just9n – he just hasn’t streamed himself during that time.
