The upcoming MMORPG Honor of Kings: World has been very quiet after its playtest. Its next prominent appearance will be in Germany.
What kind of appearance is this? Honor of Kings: World will be represented as an MMORPG offshoot of the major League of Legends competitor from China at Gamescom 2026. Between August 26 and 30, 2026, you can visit the game at Hall 8.1 Stand A051B050.
In addition to Honor of Kings: World, the other three titles of the “Honor of Kings” franchise will also be on display. For the first time, there will also be a playable demo of Honor of Kings: ACE, the hero card battler brand.

An MMORPG for the future
What distinguishes Honor of Kings: World? The MMORPG offers beautiful graphics as well as some special features. Most of the time, you play alone, while other players only appear as shadows. For dungeons, raids, and bosses, you quickly join up with other players via the group finder.
The classes are also unique. There are not the typical warriors and mages, but a variety of characters from the MOBA whose abilities you can borrow. You always combine two characters, allowing you to create dozens of different builds.
The battles are also more complex than you might think. You need to time the abilities of your characters correctly to create combinations.
When will Honor of Kings: World release? That is the big question! The game has been running in China for some time and gathers feedback and updates there. In the West, there has already been a playtest that MeinMMO expert Karsten Scholz participated in, providing you with 5 good reasons for the MMORPG.
However, a fixed release date is still missing. Since the playtest, it has also been very quiet about the global version of the game, which is why the appearance at Gamescom could be the starting point for a release in the West.
