In Pokémon GO a packed event is coming up to tune you in for the GO Tour 2026. Countless legendary monsters will be involved.
What kind of event is this? On Monday, February 23, 2026, at 0:00, the event “Road to Kalos” starts. The event runs until Friday, February 27, 2026, at 23:59 and is set to prepare you for the global GO Tour 2026, which takes place on February 28 and March 1, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Many legendary monsters, new costumed Pokémon, and some other strong attackers will be joining.

During all 5 event days, there will also be a raid hour from 18:00 to 19:00 in which all legendary monsters of the day will reappear.
On Thursday and Friday, the raids will rotate hourly between Part 1 and Part 2. In the raid hour, they will already rotate after 30 minutes.
Dialga and Palkia in their primal forms can have exclusive moves with Adventure Effects through their exclusive moves with Adventure Effect. The Black and White Kyurem provide you with Fusion Energy, which you can use to perform the fusion of Kyurem.
The costumed Pikachu from Monday and Tuesday will also debut in Pokémon GO.
What exclusive moves are there? If you catch legendary monsters during the event, they will know exclusive moves. The move is guaranteed for all monsters, except for Dialga and Palkia in their primal forms and Kyurem.

What bonuses are there in the event? The following bonuses will be active in the game during the event:
- halved hatching distance for eggs placed in incubators during the event
- the remote raid limit is increased to 30
- Event field research where you can earn candy and XL candy for the respective raid bosses of the day as well as encounters with costumed Pikachu

What backgrounds are there in the event? Additionally, all monsters you find in raids can have a special background that corresponds to the region of the respective day. Legendary monsters can have a special background corresponding to the version they are featured on the cover of (for example, Kyogre with an Emerald Edition background).
Only the 3 legendary birds of the 1st generation are an exception. Articuno can have a background with Team Mystic, Zapdos with Team Instinct, and Moltres with Team Valor.
What’s included in the GO Pass? There will also be a special GO Pass for the event. This will also be active during the GO Tour on the weekend, during which you can also earn an unlimited number of points in the pass on both days.
