The new Pokémon GO update 0.93.4 is now on its way to you. After the predecessor caused problems, these should now be resolved.
Trainers, Pokémon GO is now being updated to version 0.93.4. A few days ago, some of you received access to the new version 0.93.3, which brought with it a significant bug in the time zone setting. This caused incorrect times to be displayed on EX Raid invitations.
The time issue has reportedly been fixed in the new update.
Pokémon GO time zone back to correct
After some trainers downloaded the last update 0.93.3, they noticed problems with the time zone. It was displayed in UTC format on every device, instead of local time. This would be an hour difference compared to German time, as we calculate with UTC+1.
Fortunately, the error was noticed and now fixed, so the new version 0.93.4 displays the correct time again. To ensure that the correct times are displayed to you, you should urgently update to the new version if you have already installed 0.93.3.
The changed time zone also caused incorrect times to be displayed on EX Raids. So be sure to check your invitations after updating to version 0.93.4 for when the next EX Raid takes place.
Changes from 0.93.3 reverted
We already reported on the many code changes that came with the Pokémon GO update 0.93.3. However, a lot has also changed with the new update. Many of the changes have been reverted.
It is unclear whether these changes had already served their purpose and are no longer needed, or why this decision was made.
Niantic decided to keep the changes to GO+, despawn, the map, and Unity. You can see what changed in our summary of Update 0.93.3.
The rollout for the new update has already started and is gradually making the update available for different regions. Due to the success of Team Rayquaza, the following bonuses are currently available in Pokémon GO.
