At the Pokémon GO Fest 2026, you will encounter a limited research focusing on Mega Mewtwo X and Y. What are the differences?
This is the research: The limited research starts together with the GO Fest and ends with it as well. You have time during the event to grab the rewards. And they are worth it!
Because among other things, you will get an encounter with Mewtwo as well as some Mega Energy for one of its two Mega forms. You can also encounter them in raids during the weekend – the best counters against Mega Mewtwo X and Y can be found here.
However, at a certain point, the research splits into two paths. We will show you what the different rewards are.
