The Pokémon GO Fest 2026 is starting. What to expect on the first day of the event is shown to you by MeinMMO.
The GO Fest 2026 is around the corner. It will take place on July 11 and 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. While you usually had to purchase a ticket to enjoy all the content, this year it is completely free and fully playable for all trainers.
While some content is identical on both days, there are also some that take place only on one of the two event days. We have summarized which contents you can expect on the first day of the event.

What content is available? In addition to the numerous Pokémon, the following content is also expected on the first day of the event:
- a branching research where you have to choose between Mega-Mewtwo X and Mega-Mewtwo Y
- you can receive and complete the special research on Zeraora
- there is also a limited-time research waiting for you
- various event-related field research that changes every hour
What bonuses are active? Additionally, the following bonuses are active:
- increased chance of Shiny monsters
- Lures will last for one hour
- Teams will last for 9 hours
- Bonuses unlocked by completed global challenges
In addition, the following bonuses are active from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM:
- up to 9 free raid passes by spinning the gym discs
- up to 6 special trades
- reduced Stardust costs when trading
- up to 50 gifts can be opened per day
