When is the Community Day in August? The Community Day takes place on August 16th from 2 PM to 5 PM.
Which Pokémon will appear? The Community Day will feature Kleptifux. As usual, the event Pokémon has an increased shiny chance and the possibility of bringing a special background.
What kind of Pokémon is this? It is a Dark-type Pokémon from the Sword and Shield games. It can evolve into Gaunux.

Community Day in August 2026 with Kleptifux – Start & Event Bonuses
When? Sunday, August 16, 2026 – From 2 PM to 5 PM
Exclusive Attack: Charged Attack Ice Storm for Gaunux, if you evolve it during the event or up to 4 hours later
Bonuses:
– Increased shiny chance for Kleptifux
– Chance to encounter Kleptifux with special background
– Triple catch stardust
– Double catch candy
– Doubled chances for XL candy when catching Pokémon from level 31
– Incense lasts 3 hours, Lure Module one hour long when activating the items during the event (not the daily adventure incense)
– Snapshot surprises with Kleptifux
– Field research with Kleptifux
Bonuses until 9 PM local time:
– One additional special trade
– 50% less stardust cost when trading
– Lure Modules can continue to attract event Kleptifux with increased shiny chance and the opportunity for a special background from 2 PM to 9 PM
Is the Community Day with Kleptifux worth it?
For Fighters: Currently, the day is particularly interesting for PvP fans, as Gaunux with Ice Storm becomes a good option for the Great League. In raids, it is rather uninteresting.
For Collectors: The shiny of Kleptifux and Gaunux is definitely worth catching!
How do I make the most of Community Day with Kleptifux?
As there is triple catch stardust, you should catch as many specimens as possible. Stardust is always needed, and here you have a great chance for it. If you activate a star piece, you will get one and a half times the amount of stardust.
Otherwise, you can enhance your Community Day with the following items:
- Balls (as many as possible)
- Incense
- Stardust
- Sananabeeren (for even more candy)
- Lure Modules
Which Mega Pokémon? You are catching a Dark-type Pokémon, so active Mega Pokémon of this type will bring you additional candy and XP. Currently, these are:
- Mega Tyranitar
- Mega Houndoom
- Mega Absol
- Mega Sableye
