Community Day in April 2026 with Forgita – Start & Event Bonuses
When? Saturday, April 11, 2026 – From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Exclusive Attack: Giant Hammer for Granforgita if you evolve it during the event or up to 4 hours afterwards
Bonuses:

Who should consider attending the Community Day with Forgita?
Is Forgita worth it? Yes, absolutely. Because Forgita is not only a Pokémon that was relatively rare to catch, it is also a total hit in Pokémon GO’s PvP.
The reason: Granforgita learns its very own special attack, Giant Hammer, on Community Day. And it’s a truly, truly powerful attack. In the current rankings on PvPoke, Granforgita is catapulted to 3rd place in the Super League and 5th place in the Hyper League due to the new attack.
So: Grab as many Forgita as you can this weekend if you enjoy playing PvP. You can also use Granforgita as a Steel Gym attacker, but there are even better Pokémon for that.

Is the bonus worth it? Do you already have countless Forgita? Even then, the day is worth it for you, because you get triple Stardust for each individual catch. If you also use a Stardust Boost, you will get even more Stardust for half an hour. So: If your Stardust account is empty, the event is also top.
Tips for Community Day with Forgita
Use a Mega Pokémon: An active Mega Pokémon of Fairy or Steel type will give you extra candy and XP when catching Forgita. So use one of the following:

- Mega Registeel
- Mega Lucario
- Mega Metagross
- Mega Flunkifer
- Mega Gardevoir
- Mega Altaria
- Mega Diancie
- Mega Flunkifer
Prepare items: Some items can give you even more advantages.
- Razz Berries: More candy when catching.
- Incense and Lure Module: This will attract more Forgita.
- Stardust Boost: Increases Stardust yield for 30 minutes by 1.5 times.
- Poké Balls: You want to catch many Forgita. For that, you need plenty of Poké Balls.
And: Make space! Then you won’t have to send Pokémon during the event, but can just catch away.
