A new teaser has recently been released for Path of Exile 2, announcing the new season “Dawn of the Hunt.” The spear is highlighted as the new weapon, but experts have recognized more behind the teaser.
What class is rumored to have been revealed? During the development of Path of Exile 2, players had many opportunities to try out the ARPG. Gameplay from classes that are currently not available in early access has been released multiple times.
The players believe that the Huntress is featured in the new teaser trailer – and they might be right.

Hints about a new class intensify
What is there to the new class? Experts who have seen every video about the ARPG before the release of Path of Exile 2 were already convinced that the spear must belong to the new Huntress class.
Even though different classes can use various weapons in Path of Exile 2, the spear was the characteristic weapon of the new class in past tests. Additionally, the update is named “Dawn of the Hunt,” which is another indication of the new class.
For the fans on Reddit, that is already enough evidence. Under the post with the announcement, user Loreado writes: “Huntress class confirmed, nice. Interesting that this 0.2.0 update even has its own title ‘Dawn of the Hunt.'”

What other evidence is there? We have looked at older early gameplay from Path of Exile 2 and noticed strong similarities with the skills and movements shown in the teaser. However, the most convincing argument is likely the unique appearance of the class.
When comparing the few gameplay scenes from the teaser trailer with the old gameplay from the development of the ARPG, the correspondences are immediately recognizable. The character shown looks exactly like in the early gameplay of the game. The spear, shield, and the character itself match.
It can therefore be assumed that Path of Exile 2 will not only introduce the new weapon but also the new class into the game.
The final confirmation from the developers is expected only on March 27th at 8:00 PM. On this date, the creators of the game will present the new update “Dawn of the Hunt” on Twitch.
