We will show you what each building block offers and how much difference they actually make.u003c/strongu003e
What does Valentail do exactly? Pal number 162 has a partner skill called Big Stretch
that reduces gravity for you as a player as long as he is in the team. This makes you noticeably more floaty when jumping and falling.
The effect does not stack according to Palworld Fandom, so having a second Valentail in the team does not provide any additional benefit. In the comments, some players claim that Valentail also prevents fall damage.
Here you can see the trailer for Palworld Version 1.0:
Which accessories help additionally? For extra jumps and more control in the air, the following items are especially suitable:
- Triple Jump Boots (Epic): Allow you a triple jump
- Double Jump Boots (Rare): Allow you a double jump
- Air Walker EX (Epic): Allows a double jump plus double air dash
- Anti-Gravity Belt (Uncommon): Increases your jumping power
- Double Air Dash Boots (Epic) / Triple Air Dash Boots (Legendary): Allow a double or triple dash in the air
The pal Verdash has a similar double jump plus dash effect, but according to the community, it does not stack with the Triple Jump Boots. So you will have to decide which of the two paths you want to use.
Which pals further enhance the combo? Besides Valentail, players mainly mention these pals as useful additions:
- Croajiro: Fully condensed, you can be carried across the map by him according to the community and jump higher than with classic jump points.
- Hangyu: Lets you float upwards while gliding and simultaneously reduces stamina consumption. For many players, he was the only
Flight
pal they needed for a long time. - Celeray: Provides you with gliding capability and has been shown to prevent fall damage.
- Galeclaw: Allows you to fly faster while gliding and even shoot during it.
How much difference does the complete combo make? The real difference can be seen directly in the video. The height of a single wall serves as a benchmark, which the player in the clip jumps over on Reddit without any items:
| Combination | Jump Height |
|---|---|
| No items (normal jump) | 1 wall |
| Only Anti-Gravity Belt | 1.5 walls |
| Only double jump | 2 walls |
| Anti-Gravity Belt + double jump | 3 walls |
| Only Valentail | 3.5 walls |
| Valentail + Anti-Gravity Belt | 5.5 walls |
| Valentail + double jump | 9 walls |
| Valentail + Anti-Gravity Belt + double jump | 13.5 walls |
Notably: The bonuses do not simply add up, but instead enhance each other. Valentail alone already provides the largest single increase, more than three times the normal jump height.
In combination with the double jump, the value skyrockets disproportionately from 3.5 to 9 walls, significantly more than one would expect by simply adding the individual values. So if you really want to maximize height, you can’t skip Valentail, but the combo only really becomes strong together with the other items.
If you’re already customizing your companions to gain advantages in Palworld, then you shouldn’t miss out on another pal. MyMMO colleague Johanna shares her personal recommendation with you: A companion must always be included in Palworld, as he helps me enslave his kind
