Most people know that artificial intelligence can also make mistakes. A farmer from Stardew Valley had to experience this firsthand.
Who is it about? Reddit user WonderfulScholar6171 wanted to find out how to make rice vinegar in Stardew Valley. It’s not rocket science, as you just need to toss ground rice into the barrel.
But instead of relying on a guide from real people, the user trusted the AI summary from Google and made a grave mistake.

Juice instead of vinegar
What did the AI explain? The AI, which is supposed to prevent clicks on great sites like MeinMMO, promptly provided the user with a recipe for his endeavor. He was told to simply “put one unit of rice or unground unit of rice into a barrel.”.
But anyone who knows Stardew Valley understands that the recipe for vinegar only works with ground rice. Without it, the process yields only rice juice. A real guide would have communicated that to the player; however, the AI led him astray.
How did the process end? As expected, the player skipped the extra step of grinding the rice. He simply tossed his rice into the barrel and got, as expected, rice juice. 136 bottles of rice juice. For the player, a clear sign not to trust everything the AI produces.
Even in the comments on Reddit, the user hears that one should not trust artificial intelligence, or else one wastes all resources:
