Improvements and Changes
- Up to five resurrection attempts have been added for the area “Distorted Realm,” depending on the difficulty of the area. If you complete the realm of the Rift Lord, but die during the boss encounter with Xesht, We are One, you will be revived at the entrance of the boss arena. If you die in the realm of the Rift Lord, you will be revived at the start. No experience from monsters will be gained on repeated attempts in the realm of the Rift Lord.
- Up to five resurrection attempts have been added for the boss fight “Olroth, Origin of the Fall,” depending on the difficulty of the area.
- Up to five resurrection attempts have been added for the area “The Core of Nothingness,” depending on the difficulty of the area. If you die before killing the king in the mists, resurrection will put you into the boss arena and the fight will begin anew.
- Resurrections can only be triggered by the person who used the expedition logbook, the rift stone, or the audience with the king, and all group members will be revived at the same time.
- More checkpoints have been added to various map areas and the placement of some checkpoints has been improved.
- The chat command “/ResetAtlas” (/atlas_zurück) has been added, which can only reset the atlas if it is in an unplayable state (no maps available).
- Minimap symbols for treasures have been added.
- Minimap symbols for league mechanics now remain visible no matter how far you move away, making it easier to return to them later.
- Hitting stationary objects, such as ice crystals, storm bells, or vine arrow plants can no longer cause your triggering skills to generate energy.
- Vine arrow plants can no longer take damage from hits, resulting in effects that trigger on hit, as well as other similar effects, having no impact.
- Creatures can now squeeze through small gaps for a short time if they haven’t moved for a short period.
- Channeling skills whose costs scale with modifiers for attack/casting speed now explicitly state this.
- Unused or irrelevant values are no longer displayed in the skills overview and character menu.
- The tooltip for the stun threshold now shows additional information about stun mechanics.
- Custom target behavior settings for using controllers have been added.
- Flasks have been added to the controller HUD.
- A setting has been added that shows extended item information when viewing items using a controller.
- Dedicated shortcuts for confirming decisions in various interfaces have been added when using a controller, such as opening a map in the map apparatus or starting a trial in the relic altar.
- The font size of text in various places while using a controller has been increased.
- The navigation of elements while using a controller has been improved.
- The target behavior for ranged attacks while using a controller has been improved.
- The target behavior for sacrifice skills while using a controller has been improved.
- Further changes have been made to reduce the aggressive target behavior of “storm bell” when using a controller.
- A change introduced with patch 0.1.1 that allowed you to pick up items and interact with some objects while performing other actions has been reverted due to the issues it caused.
- You can now change the names of your Path of Exile 2 characters and swap names between two characters. To do this, visit “My Account” on the website after this patch is released.
- The following microtransactions are now available in Path of Exile 2: Looter Ring of the Exiled, Step Counter Ring of the Exiled, Ever Tree Map Apparatus, Clock Tower Map Apparatus, “Trader’s Rain of Gold” hideout decorations, and the Octoparasite companions.
- We have made further improvements to sound, graphics, effects, and environments.
