The head of Path of Exile 2 spoke about the full release and revealed when it is supposed to happen. Interestingly, the release of GTA 6 falls within that timeframe.

Time for the release
When is Path of Exile 2 supposed to be released? The developers originally planned the release for December 2025. After several delays, it was said that they definitely want to release the game in 2026.
We took the opportunity to ask the head about the status, to which he explained that Path of Exile 2 would be released in 2026. The new expansion “The Return of the Ancients” would be the last expansion before the full release.
What date does he have in mind? The head did not want to mention a specific date yet, but gives a clear hint. Path of Exile 2 is supposed to be released after Exile-Con. This will take place between November 7 and 8, 2026, and will reportedly give players a taste of the full version according to pathofexile2.com.
Since the developers also probably want to spend Christmas with their families, the release window for Path of Exile 2 will likely be from November 8 to December 24. Of course, delays are still possible, but according to the head, they are on schedule.
However, the release clearly falls within the timeframe of GTA 6. The open-world shooter is set to launch on November 19, 2026, attracting many gamers to their consoles. For Path of Exile 2, it will be difficult to capture the attention of all fans. It remains to be seen whether the developers can hold their ground and surpass their previous peak player count of 578,000 on Steam (Source: SteamDB).
