The developers of Path of Exile 2 have introduced a new feature that will greatly ease the storage spaces for the community.
What kind of feature is this? Since the first players reached the endgame of Path of Exile 2 in week 1, their inventories have been filled with maps. The Waystones, as the maps are called in the ARPG, are an important part of the game, but they have also blocked players’ storage spaces and taken up a lot of room.
There was no way to simply sort the Waystones into a tab, as was still possible in the predecessor. With the new patch 0.1.1D, this has changed. From now on, there is also a storage tab for maps in Path of Exile 2, but it is not free.

Such convenience doesn’t come free
Why is the storage tab so important? The map storage tab sorts your collected Waystones from the inventory directly into a tab of the respective tier with just one click. Additionally, each tier can have sub-tabs that you can set up and sort as you wish. With the new storage tab, you can store a total of 576 Waystones.
In an example video on X.com, the developers have created a tab where the rare maps are sorted and offered directly for sale. You can also sell directly from the new map storage.
How much does the new feature cost? Like all other special storage tabs in Path of Exile 2, the new map tab is not free. In the shop on PathofExile.com, the upgrade regularly costs 150 points, which corresponds to about 15 €. However, there is currently an offer where you can get the tab for about 12 €.
However, all gamers who purchased the unlock in the predecessor are lucky. The unlock applies to the entire account and both games, so the feature is free for many veterans.
Many players have wondered from the beginning why the developers did not include this feature at release. The fact that it is coming now in Season 1 has pleased players in the comments on X.com and Reddit.
However, there is also criticism regarding the lack of slots for the tablets that are used to enhance other maps in specific locations on the endgame map of PoE2. The developers have not commented on the absence of these slots.
