If you want to head to the World Tree, make sure you have Panthalus in your active party. Simply having him stored in the Palbox is not enough.
Then fly with him towards the World Tree and look for an altar you can interact with. Do this, and you can pass through the barrier.
All Important Information About Resources on the World Tree Island
What awaits you on the island? The island serves as the final endgame area where you can explore multiple biomes and collect new resources and Pals. These include:
- Paloxit
- Radiant Gems
- Ancient Relics
- World Tree Holy Water
- Mythical Wood
Why do the materials disappear when you try to collect them? When you gather resources, you will quickly notice that they disappear when you try to pick them up. In order to collect them, you must meet one of two conditions:
- Use World Tree Holy Water
- This grants you a buff and allows you to collect the items
- You receive the holy water from the Pals living on the island
- Take a Pal with the passive skill “Dimensional Leap”
- This will cause your hunger to decrease faster, but you won’t need holy water
- You can obtain such a Pal more frequently by hatching giant eggs from the World Tree island
