New models in patch 8.1.5 of World of Warcraft build anticipation. Alliance players finally get some variety in their mounts.
The current expansion of World of Warcraft, Battle for Azeroth, brought numerous new mounts to the game world. However, Alliance players felt neglected, as they received plenty of horses. While these are visually more impressive than the classic horses, they offered little variety. On the Horde’s side, the diversity was greater.
This sparked the common meme in the World of Warcraft subreddit that every new mount for the Alliance must always be a horse.
New mount wolf for the Alliance: Apparently, this will soon be coming to an end, as a new model has appeared in patch 8.1.5. This shows a mount wolf that wears armor in the colors of the Alliance and is also adorned with the distinctive lion logo. The colleagues at wowhead have already extracted the appearance of the wolf from the game data:
Where can you find the wolf? The source of the wolf is not yet known. However, most players speculate that the wolf will be a reward for rated PvP in an upcoming season, highlighting the collaboration between Saurfang and Anduin. However, there is no evidence for this yet.
Other new models in the patch: The latest update of patch 8.1.5 also brought some additional models to the game. For instance, Derek Proudmoore, the now undead brother of Jaina, has now received his own model. This indirectly confirms that Derek will play a larger role and won’t be “burned through” anytime soon. Individual models have only been provided by Blizzard when characters had a longer storyline ahead of them.
The Community Day in Pokémon GO is coming soon and Niantic’s newsletter already revealed which attack Mamoswine can learn.
This was announced: In the Chinese newsletter of Pokémon GO, Niantic mentions that Mamoswine can learn the move Ancient Power if you evolve it on Community Day.
The newsletters in other languages do not mention a specific attack. The German one refers to a “special move” that Mamoswine can learn.
How strong is Mamoswine with Ancient Power
Is it certain that Mamoswine learns Ancient Power? So far, only the Chinese newsletter describes the new move of Mamoswine. However, the authors of the newsletter must have received the information directly from Niantic, as it is the official newsletter of the developers.
You cannot guarantee with complete certainty that Mamoswine can actually learn Ancient Power on Community Day, but it is also not far-fetched.
Does Ancient Power boost Mamoswine? The move Ancient Power is of Rock type and does not play to Mamoswine’s strengths. The Pokémon is of Ground and Ice type and can deal significantly more damage with moves of these types.
With a charging move of Rock type, it will be a good attacker for this type, but we still have significantly better Pokémon of this type like Tyranitar, Rampardos, and Rhyperior.
Does Mamoswine even need this move? A Mamoswine with Ancient Power is definitely a collector’s item. It probably won’t learn this move again anytime soon, making it rare. So you should evolve one to have it in your collection.
How do I get the move? The move is only available on Community Day. You need to evolve a Swinub into Mamoswine between 11 AM and 3 PM. You will also need a Sinnoh Stone. Mamoswine cannot learn the move with a TM.
When is the Community Day in February? On Saturday, February 16, the Community Day will start for three hours. Besides Shiny Swinub, you can also receive numerous other bonuses.
We have given you 5 reasons why the Community Day in February will be particularly good:
The developers of The Division 2 deliberately wanted to avoid releasing a political game. However, players have now found an audio log that puts the conflict between the USA and Mexico in a whole new light.
What happened? For months, there has been a conflict between the USA and Mexico regarding the construction of a wall at the border. The USA does not want to accept illegal migrants from Mexico, as stated by US President Donald Trump.
In The Division 2, this conflict is somewhat poked fun at, and the developer simply flips the roles of the two parties. In fact, Mexico wants to build a wall to the USA so that no more infected or desperate Americans cross the border into Mexico.
This is what the conflict in The Division 2 is about
One can also find the President’s office, the Oval Office, in The Division 2. Many players have now come across an interesting audio file that is supposed to show a conversation between the Presidents of the USA and Mexico.
What is the conversation about? In the conversation between the two leaders, the American President complains that Mexico has closed the border crossing in El Paso, preventing Americans from fleeing from the bioweapon attack.
Here there are more connections to the US President: In another conversation that can be heard in the White House, two people discuss the death of the US President in the game. He is called “Waller” by last name and has a very critical stance against Russia, accusing them of being involved in the attack on the USA.
A President who carries the word “Wall” in his name and has a difficult relationship with Russia makes many players of The Division 2 chuckle.
That’s why it fits so well: Ubisoft has repeatedly emphasized that they do not want to address political issues with The Division 2 and the game’s story seems to be entirely fictional. Nevertheless, the story of the game takes place in real locations in the USA that also have political significance.
A little dig at the real President fits perfectly, especially since many Americans are not satisfied with the idea of a wall between the USA and Mexico.
What do you think of the story? Do you believe Ubisoft intentionally brought the conflict between Mexico and the USA into the game?
The developers of The Division also sent political emails, even though they actually wanted to avoid such topics:
Last year was very successful for The Elder Scrolls Online. The developers want to give something back to the players and are gifting almost everyone 500 crowns. Here’s how you get them.
Why is ESO giving away 500 crowns? 2018 was a successful year for The Elder Scrolls Online. The MMO received a total of four awards.
The developers at Zenimax want to thank the fans for their loyalty and are therefore gifting almost all players 500 crowns.
500 Crowns for Almost Everyone
Here’s how to get the 500 crowns: You don’t have to do anything to benefit from the developers’ gift. As long as you logged in between January 1, 2017, and February 7, 2019, you are eligible.
The crowns will be credited to players on PC on February 11, 2019, and to players on consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 13.
What are crowns? Crowns are the premium currency in The Elder Scrolls Online. Crowns can be purchased with real money and exchanged for special items or player expansions in the Crown Store.
How Players are Reacting
Most players are reacting very positively to Zenimax’s announcement. In their view, The Elder Scrolls Online deserves the accolades. Player LunaHalp on Reddit writes: Congratulations, everyone. I know it took many long nights.”
Trading crowns for gold: Some players report that they will exchange the free crowns directly for gold. This process has been possible since mid-2018. Players trade premium items from the Crown Store for in-game gold. Players on Reddit recommend using the services of the Tamriel Crown Exchange guild for this process.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, many pros agree on what the perfect loadout is for battle. But the best player in the world sees it differently.
What happened? In a joint match with pro gamers Tfue, Chap, Nate Hill, and Tennp0, a discussion broke out about the perfect weapon loadout in Fortnite. At the beginning of the discussion, SMGs were mentioned as an alternative to assault rifles.
After that, it was suggested that one should take two assault rifles as the optimum. A heavy assault rifle and a SCAR. The heavy rifle (the AK) is strong and good at range. The SCAR, on the other hand, has a better rate of fire. The third slot should be occupied by a shotgun for close combat. This way, one would be optimally prepared for any combat situation.
Tfue dissed teammates over loadout
This is how Tfue reacted to the loadout idea: When he heard that his teammate was using two assault rifles, Tfue became somewhat snappy, as in his opinion, it was complete nonsense:
“Wait, you’re using an AK and a SCAR? Okay, my mistake, I thought you were smart. You need a shotgun and an assault rifle, that’s all! And the only time you would use an SMG in a tournament is when you find no loot!”

Is there even a general meta in Fortnite? Tfue sees no reason to waste valuable inventory space on an additional assault rifle. And submachine guns are just trash anyway.
In general, the pros do not agree on what the perfect meta loadout is. Some claim that combinations like the hand cannon and rockets are optimal.
Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference for what the perfect gear in Fortnite is for you.
What’s your idea of the perfect loadout? Do you prefer the Tfue setup or do you have something else in your inventory?

What is Warhammer: Chaosbane? Warhammer: Chaosbane is a Diablo-like hack & slash set in the fantasy universe of the Warhammer franchise. You will have the opportunity to confront the forces of chaos with magic and sword.
Chaosbane will be a coop game where you can play in a group of up to four people and face the dangers together. You will have four classes available:
Human (Imperial Soldier, Tank)
High Elf (Cleric/Mage, DPS and Group Control)
Dwarf (Berserker/Slayer)
Wood Elf (Ranger)
In dozens of dungeons, you will face countless enemies and even bosses who have devoted themselves to the chaos gods, such as the disgusting plague god Nurgle. The game is rated for ages 16 and is a Warhammer title, which is already known for its bloody scenes and brutality.
How can I play Warhammer: Chaosbane? In March and April, there will be a beta each month. To play the beta, you must preorder the game. You can do this through the official Chaosbane shop.
Chaosbane will be released on June 4, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you also preorder the Digital Deluxe or Magnus editions, you can start playing 4 days earlier at release.
This is what the community says about it
Some players are skeptical: The response to the announcement is mixed. Some fans, especially on reddit, are not yet sure how good Chaosbane will be. One user writes that the trailer looks rather poor and not well prepared, as everything that has been seen of the game.
It has even been compared to Diablo Immortal, which looks smoother as a mobile game and might not be so bad after all. The user Judge_Ravina attributes this to the gaming policies of the Warhammer owner Games Workshop:
Most Warhammer and 40k games look like they come 5–10 years late, simply because Games Workshop does not care about the quality of the games. Hence, there is also the enormous difference between their hits and failures.
Many of the discussants agree and see in the licenses merely the opportunity for Games Workshop to promote the franchise.
There are also fans with optimism: Other fans are looking forward to Chaosbane and can hardly wait for the launch. Apparently, the community is waiting for a new hack & slash and more content related to Warhammer.
Amazon’s MMO New World is currently in a closed alpha phase, but we were allowed to take a look at the game last week. We would now like to reveal how your first steps in the game will look. Additionally, you can get an impression of the game in our video.
This is how you end up in a new world: In New World, you begin your new life on the North American coast of the 17th century in a fictional world. You start completely defenseless without armor and weapons.
Your first tasks will be to gather materials and equip yourself with the essentials. You will find stones and bushes around you that you can pick up.
The campfire: To process the first gathered materials, you place a campfire. Campfires are available to every player, have no cost, and are also the place where you can respawn if you are killed in the wilderness.
At the campfire, you can craft gathering tools like pickaxes, skinning knives, or axes. You can also obtain your first wooden weapons and armor made from fur obtained from wild animals through the crafting interface.
Crafting interface of the campfire
Neutral outposts offer you protection and tasks
After you have equipped yourself with the most basic items, the neutral outposts on the map should be your first goals. There, you are initially safe from other players and can continue to expand.
What can I do at the outpost? The neutral outposts initially provide you with a graveyard. When you interact with it, you can respawn next to the campfire as well as at the outpost.
Additionally, you will find crafting stations to improve your equipment. The trading post also allows you to buy and sell items. The price for goods varies depending on the outpost. The more is bought or sold, the more different the costs are.
How do I improve my equipment? For defeating wild animals, you receive bounties that can be sold well at the trading post. You also gain experience and can use it to improve skills like blacksmithing or alchemy. Other crafting professions have already been introduced to us.
Only when your skills in this area are high enough can you gather better materials and craft equipment. However, the new MMO becomes really exciting when you organize with other players.
In the endgame, you need teammates
The world of New World is dangerous. Both PvE creatures and other players can kill you, resulting in the loss of your inventory and parts of your equipment. At the same time, the world is malleable, and areas can be conquered that can then be expanded at will. However, without teammates, you won’t get much from the vast world.
How do I conquer an area? If no faction currently controls the area, you only need a special item from the trading post. With this item, you go to the point to be conquered and take it.
For this, you need a guild, which can also be easily created alone. You can now design the conquered area with walls, crafting stations, and other buildings, as long as you have enough materials.
Things become problematic only if another company attacks. Because an area cannot be easily defended against many players alone.
Guild battles: If a guild wants to conquer the area of another, it can declare war. This costs gold and also gives the defending guild time to gather before the official war begins.
During a war, players attacking the opposing faction are not marked as criminals. Criminals are considered free game, and the system is supposed to prevent players from attacking others randomly. However, everything goes according to the rules in a declared war, which is why you do not receive any penalty for killing players.
The objective in capturing is the core of the fortress. To reach this, you can blow up the opponents’ walls with powder kegs or use siege weapons. Once you have captured the core, the fortress changes its owner. After that, it is initially protected from further attacks for three hours.
Interface for guild wars
What happens when I die? If you are defeated in New World, other players can revive you. If there are none nearby, you must choose a point for the respawn. You can choose between outposts or your own campfire.
Upon death, you also lose your inventory and, if you are marked as a criminal, even your equipment. Only your gold will always be retained.
After death, you can choose where to respawn
Secrets of a new world
Anyone who does not want to focus solely on conquering fortresses can also explore the general game world. There are different enemy factions and also mystical creatures that guard the world.
What exactly lies behind these creatures, however, was not revealed to us at the event. Despite the creatures and other secrets in the world, it is clear that the focus of the game will certainly be on PvP.
Many of you have already had the chance to test the Private Beta of The Division 2. We summarize some of your impressions that you have posted in our comments.
What does the Mein-MMO community think? From enthusiasm to disappointment, everything is included. Some of the negative impressions stem from the technical issues present in the beta:
This is what you think about the Private Beta: We have selected some of your comments and summarize them here. If you weren’t mentioned, don’t be disappointed. Maybe you’ll be next time.
Gorm draws an overall positive conclusion after about one and a half hours. Technically, there are a few minor glitches, but it runs “significantly better than last week and the week before in Anthem“. However, the gameplay differences compared to the predecessor are not that large. The setting is less convincing: “The atmosphere doesn’t come close to that of the first part.” But Gorm wants to stay and gather more impressions.
Svbgunslinger likes the PvE area so far because it feels “much more like ‘war and combat’ than in the predecessor”. The gameplay has generally improved, but some control changes are annoying for him. Also, a few things, especially the technology, still bother him, and one must wait to see what the endgame and PvP will bring. Overall, he is “very satisfied” so far.
Zer0d3viDE is “not so convinced” by the beta. He does not like the new setting; graphically, it feels “somehow like a downgrade”.
Mr.Mittens does not have many complaints except for graphical bugs, popping textures, and performance issues. Everything that “bothered him in the first part has been improved.” He can hardly wait for the release.
Smokito simply cannot get into the atmosphere. It hardly seems threatening to him. He finds it a pity that “everything feels like it has been taken from the first part and there is just no excitement”. However, he praises the controls, which are now much smoother. Overall, his “expectations were not high and were actually met. But enthusiasm looks different…”
Chosen Gaming is so enthusiastic that Destiny 2 will be deleted directly; The Division 2 should be the new main game, with “Anthem and RDR2 as fun games in between”. The beta plays well and smoothly; the “environment does not seem so desolate anymore”. Only the performance could be better.
Paul Klee had problems, but nonetheless: alongside the many crashes that he and his friends experienced, the game is “really fun”. He particularly praises the interaction options with the checkpoints. “So it is a beta with expected weaknesses, but it makes you want more.”
Reactions in our comments are mixed: Alongside enthusiasm, many are still skeptical. Does The Division 2 set itself apart enough from the predecessor? Will the technical problems be resolved by the release? The new setting of summer in Washington D.C. is met with mixed feelings by many. Some miss the wintry New York and the snow.
Some are still cautious and prefer to wait until The Division 2 is released on March 15.
What our author Robert thinks about The Division 2 so far can be read here:
In Fortnite, you will soon be able to decorate your weapons and vehicles for free. Every player has the chance to get the Cuddle Hearts Wrap.
With wraps, you can decorate your weapons and vehicles in Fortnite. Now, just in time for Valentine’s Day, there is a wrap featuring hearts. Players do not have to pay for it, but can get this wrap for free through a trick.
We will show you how to get this wrap and how you can make the world of Fortnite a little pinker.
How to get the Cuddle Hearts Wrap
These are the requirements: To receive the Cuddle Hearts Wrap for free, you need to know a well-known streamer or Fortnite pro. The player needs a Support-a-Creator code. This code is held by selected players participating in the “Creator Program”, including not only famous streamers and pros but also architects from Creative mode or helpful community members like Squatingdog, who creates Cheat Sheets for the new challenges every week.
How do you get a code? You find out the codes by following the respective creators and watching their content. The respective codes will be mentioned there.
What does the code do? The code can be entered when purchasing in the shop, whereby a part of the purchase price is passed on to the creator. This does not incur any additional costs for you.
This is how you get the free wrap: To gain access to the special wrap for free, you need to provide such a Support-a-Creator code or have already purchased something related to the Support-a-Creator program in the past.
It is still not definitively known whether it is enough to just enter a code or if you actually have to buy something in the shop while using that code. However, the wording on the Epic page sounds like the code alone is enough.
What can the wrap do? A wrap can be compared to a skin. It is purely a cosmetic item and does not improve you in any way. The Cuddle Hearts Wrap can then be wrapped around vehicles or weapons so that they can shine in the pink outfit.
When will the wrap be available? Currently, you cannot access the wrap yet. Only Patch 7.40, which is coming next week, will bring the Cuddle Hearts Wrap. However, Epic keeps track of which players have entered a Support-a-Creator code and will reward them with the wrap.
In time for Valentine’s Day, there are also numerous other bonuses in Fortnite:
The influencers who were able to test Apex Legends before its release had a significant impact on the gameplay.
Streamer improved gunplay: The popular streamer Shroud is an expert in many shooters. Especially Battle Royale has been his flagship for several months. It’s no surprise that the Apex Legends team invited him along with other influencers to test the shooter in advance.
In a stream, the shooter pro explained that he was responsible for a crucial change in the gunplay. You are all surely thankful for that.
Using these weapons makes it so much fun in Apex Legends
Shroud ensured cool recoil: The gunplay is one of the things that players celebrate about Apex Legends. An important factor is that you can predict the recoil. This way you know in which direction a weapon will pull when shooting and can counteract.
Thanks to Shroud, the developers discarded their plans for recoil in Apex Legends and worked on a better solution. Each weapon now has an individual, fixed recoil.
This is how the recoil was originally planned: Originally, Apex Legends had random recoil. Every time you picked up a new weapon, you would have to figure out the recoil again. That would have made for a completely different gunplay than what is in the game now.
Shroud says: “The recoil of the weapons was a bit random. And I told them: ‘You know what would be really cool in this game that you should try? Have a predefined recoil for each individual weapon. Like in Counter-Strike.
You know, when you hold down the mouse button and [the shots] follow the exact same pattern every time?’ I said ‘You should try that and see how it feels.’
They then adopted the idea, and that’s why the recoil is in the game like it is. It’s damn good.”
So it was indeed important that the Apex Legends team brought in a few experts from the battle royale scene beforehand and listened to them carefully. Or would you have preferred random recoil?
To rock with the weapons in Apex Legends, you should take a closer look at these:
Pokémon GO has announced an event for Valentine’s Day. In their newsletter, they talk about pink Pokémon that will appear.
What happened? The Valentine’s Day event in Pokémon GO has been a staple of the game for two years now. The event returns in 2019 as confirmed by Niantic in their own newsletter.
During the event, pink Pokémon are waiting for you, along with other bonuses that Niantic will announce later.
What we know about the Valentine’s Day event 2019
What does the newsletter say? There aren’t many insights yet, but Niantic writes: “Collect Poké Balls and activate Adventure Sync, because to celebrate Valentine’s Day, pink Pokémon will appear in Pokémon GO! Keep an eye out, as more news will follow regarding this special event.”
When does the event start? There is no exact start time yet, but the event may directly follow the current event. The Lunar New Year event ends on February 13 at 10 PM. Since Valentine’s Day is already on February 14, it would make sense for a direct continuation. However, this is not confirmed.
Which Pokémon could be involved? From the last two years, we know that pink Pokémon are lurking on Valentine’s Day.
We have created a list of all pink Pokémon for you. These Pokémon do not necessarily have to appear more frequently, and it is not confirmed that these monsters will also be part of the event.
Pii, Pipie and Pixi
Fluffeluff, Pummeluff and Knuddeluff
Flegmon, Lahmus and Laschoking
Owei
Schlurp and Schlurplek
Chaneira and Heiteira
Pantimos
Porygon
Mew (probably will not be part of the event)
Waaty
Hoppspross
Snubbull
Corasonn
Kussilla
Miltank
Flurmel
Eneco
Milotic
Liebiskus
These Pokémon are not yet in the game but could come for Valentine’s Day since they are pink:
Saganabyss
Schalellos and Gastrodon
Kikugi and Kinoso
Pantimimi
Wonneira
Schalellos and Gastrodon
This is why new Pokémon might come: Especially the release of the Baby Pokémon Pantimimi and Wonneira is likely. They were already seen in an image that Niantic released earlier this month.
Many players also expect the release of Kikugi and Kinoso. These Pokémon from the 4th generation are also pink and could be released at the right time.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, a long-requested feature is apparently coming to the game soon: Ranked Play, where players can climb the leaderboards and match with equally skilled opponents.
What is Ranked Play? Ranked Play is a feature that ranks players based on their performance in the game. Players then climb the ranks within the leaderboards and are placed into higher rank categories for good performance. The benefit is that there is a visible rank that reflects one’s performance.
And on the other hand, players play only with similarly skilled players in the group. Unequal matches, where a team of professionals wipes out dozens of noobs, are then more the exception.
In Fortnite, this feature has not been present so far, which has frustrated many players. That is set to change now.
The first leaderboard in Fortnite
What does the leaderboard look like? On the weekend of February 9 to 10, there will be several qualification rounds in which players can earn ranks. Top players will thus enter directly into higher rank categories, the divisions.
The leaderboard series titled „Show Some Love!“ will then begin with Update 7.40, which is expected to be released on February 12, 2019. Participants will be placed into four divisions:
Open Division
Prospect Division
Contender Division
Champion Division
How do you rank up in the divisions? Competitions take place every night, where you can earn awards for each tournament segment. If you earn an award, you can rank up to a higher division.
Those who continue to rank up in the highest Champion Division will be invited to the finals on February 23 to 24.
Which game modes will be supported? According to Epic, there will be both solo and duo modes in the ranked matches.
Why is Fortnite introducing Ranked Play now?
Ranked Play has long been requested by Fortnite fans, but Epic has not done anything of the sort so far. However, the big, new battle royale competitor Apex Legends is reportedly planning a Ranked Play feature already.
Apex Legends seems to be putting pressure on Fortnite.
Many players who have had enough of Epic’s inaction have already switched to the competition or intend to do so if nothing happens soon.
Therefore, it seems like a lucky coincidence that the ranked feature is suddenly coming to Fortnite right now. It almost feels like Epic has had this ready for a while and was pressured by the impending competition from Apex to implement Ranked Play before the competitor steals their lunch.
The battle for the battle royale crown remains exciting. What do you think? Will the new ranked feature keep Fortnite at the top?
In the last Q&A session about Anthem, BioWare has initially denied larger groups in Freeplay. The reason why you are playing in a four-player group in the shooter has now been explained.
Ben Irving explained why this is the case in an interview.
That’s why four players: The developers understand that players would also like to go exploring alone, but the core of the game is designed for four players, according to Irving in the interview with Windows Central. When there are fewer players, the health of the enemies is adjusted to the respective group size.
Nevertheless, Irving believes that the game is best played in a group of four players:
We scale the health of the creature based on one, two, three, or four players. And only certain creatures, right? You want to be able to take on the little guys alone, but when you get a Scar Heavy, the guy with the big shield, it’s not fun if he’s defeated immediately. It’s more fun when four people are shooting at him at the same time.
The greatest fun for the team, by the way, is the teamwork of the group and the combos.
More players in the future? During the Q&A session on Twitter, a fan wanted to know if BioWare would allow five or six players in Freeplay in the future. Ben Irving responded that it sounds interesting, but they are not thinking about it in the short term.
In the interview, Irving mentions that they are indeed experimenting with larger groups, but still decided on a four-player group.
It feels right. Exploring this vast world with this group size is still very great. You can still keep track of where everyone is. At high mobility, it’s more difficult to keep a group together. So we landed on four players.
One of my favorite quotes is “The future is endless and full of possibilities.” Who knows if this is something we will change in the future, but for the launch and the short time after, it’s four players.
What do you think about the group size in Anthem? Is four players perfect for you, or would you prefer smaller or larger groups?
In addition, BioWare had good news for next-gen consoles:
Developer Massive has announced server maintenance for the Private Beta of The Division 2, where the infamous “Delta 03” error could be fixed. The maintenance will run in the morning on Friday, February 8.
However, the most serious issue is the “Delta 03” error, which is preventing many beta participants from playing. Delta errors are old acquaintances for Division veterans and were a common problem in The Division 1. Now, Massive has announced server maintenance that aims to address this issue.
Update 1:30 PM: The servers are back online.

Update, February 8, 12:21 PM: The server maintenance is expected to last until at least 1 PM. In the meantime, there was a patch for PC and PS4.
What’s in the patch: In Ubisoft Forum the patch notes have been released. The patch actually addresses several bugs, including the Delta error. Here are the patch notes summarized:
For PS4 players, it might take a bit longer to install the patch despite the small download size
Several sources of the “Delta 03” error are said to have been fixed
The sound bug should no longer occur
On PC and PS4, the game should no longer crash when accepting a group invitation outside of the game
Bethesda has talked about upcoming changes for Fallout 76 in a new “From the Vault”. This time, a nerf targets the arguably most unpopular enemies in the game: Scorchbeasts.
The announcement states that both Scorchbeasts and Scorchbeast Queens will receive a change. Their attacks and behavior, as well as the loot, will be adjusted. Patch 6 is supposed to release “later this month”.
Scorchbeasts are finally getting nerfed
This is what happens to the attacks: The sound attack of Scorchbeasts is getting nerfed. During the attack, the beasts emit multiple sound waves that damage players and shake the screen.
Previously, Scorchbeasts could use this attack frequently in rapid succession. In the upcoming Patch 6, that will no longer be possible. They will receive a cooldown of at least ten seconds on the attack. This is meant to make battling the beasts easier.
This is changing with the loot: The second change mainly affects the Queen. You should now receive fewer duplicate blueprints. Additionally, the loot is supposed to become “more legendary”, which gives hope for better weapons and armor from the Queen.
According to many player reports, the Queen often drops the same recipes when defeated multiple times. This makes it difficult for players to find new items. The legendary loot has often been quite underwhelming.
This is why the beasts have been so annoying: The criticism of Scorchbeasts has been that the fights simply take too long. The constant sound attacks make it nearly impossible to aim at them and hit reliably.
Additionally, the beasts are often referred to as “bullet sponges”. It consumes massive amounts of ammunition to kill them for relatively little and poor loot. Consequently, there have been frequent complaints about Scorchbeasts on reddit and in the forum.
Bethesda continues to rely on your feedback, including regarding the upcoming changes to Scorchbeasts. The nerfs are not final and can still be adjusted if enough feedback is received.
What do you think of the changes?
At the moment, there is a way to trick the building system of Fallout 76. Some players hope that this will not be fixed or even implemented as a feature:
One of the best players of Team Fortress 2 announced his own death as a “joke.” Nearly 3 years later, he is back – as healthy as ever.
It is now old news that YouTubers sometimes resort to some strange “pranks” to tease or deceive their viewers. But rarely do YouTubers go as far as Sketchek. He announced that he was suffering from a terminal illness and then withdrew from YouTube. Now he is back – completely healthy and remorseful.
Who is Sketchek? Until 2015, the YouTuber Sketchek regularly published videos about Team Fortress 2, a popular team shooter on Steam. He was not just anyone, but for many he was considered one of the best (if not the best) Pyro players in the scene.
Severe illness only fabricated: In a return video, Sketchek now clears up the whole matter. He was never sick and wants to apologize to everyone who was worried about him or is really struggling with an illness. He wants to clear everything up now because his guilty conscience slowly suffocates him. He has realized that it was not right and what he thought was a “stupid joke” crossed many lines.

Sketchek wanted to go out with a bang: His motivation for the lie back then is quite simple. He had reached a point where he was tired and bored with the world of gaming and wanted to make a radical break. The lie about the terminal illness came to his mind, with which he basically “disappeared with a loud bang.”
In the meantime, Sketchek has contacted many of his old TF2 friends, who have forgiven him. According to his statements, some even recognized “the joke in it” and did not hold it against him.
In the future, Sketchek wants to present high-quality videos again and hopes that fans will remain loyal to his channel and give him another chance.
What do you think of this action? Is it forgivable because he has now publicly apologized? Or should one turn away from such a YouTuber?

In Monster Hunter World, the crossover event with the RPG series The Witcher has started. And fans of Witcher Geralt are surprised.
What does the event offer? Since February 7, 2019, Witcher Geralt from the Witcher games appears in Monster Hunter World. Together with him, you will hunt monsters and even get a new armor set.
What is surprising about the event? Capcom was quite secretive about the content beforehand. However, what has been launched with the event offers a bit more than what the players had expected.
That’s why the event feels like a Witcher game: The new quests even form a small story around Ciri and Geralt, who travel to other worlds due to the magical abilities of the white-haired young warrior. But the world of Monster Hunter is new and dangerous. But Geralt is used to that. And he also knows his way around monsters.
How players react: Witcher fans are excited to experience an adventure with their hero again, which even resembles something like a quest from the game The Witcher 3. It feels like a little gift to see Geralt in action once more.
Players of Monster Hunter World are also surprised at how well the Witcher fits into the scenario. Players who have not yet known The Witcher might now want to take a look at the series because they enjoy what the event offers so much.
How long does the event run?The Witcher event will run until February 21 and will be expanded with new quests and items during this time.
Currently, the event is only available for the console versions of the game.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, more events and tasks are planned before the start of Season 8. They are themed around love and called “Have Love for Each Other”.
What is the “Have Love for Each Other” event? Season 7 has now been going for 10 weeks and all challenges have been completed. However, Season 8 only starts at the end of February. Epic has prepared and plans to launch the new event titled “Have Love for Each Other” with the upcoming update 7.40.
It will feature more challenges themed around love and Valentine’s Day. An unusual idea for a game where players mercilessly eliminate each other until only one remains. But who knows what Epic has in mind and what tasks you will have to complete.
All About the Valentine’s Event
When does it start? The Valentine’s event begins with update 7.40. This is expected to be released on February 12. The event is open to all players; you do not need a Battle Pass for it.
What can you get? There will likely be five new challenges, each promising rewards. Among them is a skin called Valentine’s Gift and a contrail named Vines.
What about skins? For the Battle Pass skins Trug, Powder Snow, and Cuddly, there will also be additional styles. However, you must have the Battle Pass from Season 7 to access them.
What else is there? If you have already supported a content creator in Fortnite or enter a creator code on Epic’s website between February 8 and 22, you will receive a free Cuddle Hearts wrap.
Double XP and More Islands for Creative Mode
When are the double XP weekends? To quickly unlock the additional styles of the Battle Pass skins or earn a few more tiers in the Pass, there will again be special weekends with double experience points at the end of Season 7. These events will take place from February 15 to 17 and from February 22 to 24.
What about the islands? To celebrate the many great ideas from Creative mode, new community islands will be featured daily in Creative mode from February 12 to 22.
MeinMMO author Robert spent a few hours in the beta of The Division 2 and is pleasantly surprised. If the developer fixes the technical issues, The Division 2 could become a more than worthy successor.
This was my expectation for The Division 2: Admittedly, the first gameplay videos did not necessarily blow me away. Aside from the fact that we are in The Division 2 in Washington and there is no snow around, it felt like an expansion of its predecessor that they want to sell at full price.
A drone as a new skill? Boring. If that is all there is to it, that might deter quite a few agents from buying the successor. However, my first hours in the currently ongoing beta have dispelled many of these prejudices. But I digress.
How much does the setting in Washington differ from New York? The story of The Division 1 took place right after the outbreak of the Dollar Virus. You could see that everywhere on the map:
Desperate and hungry passersby searching for food
Mountains of body bags that no one could yet transport
Chaotic conditions, not only among the agents but also among the opposing factions
While The Division 1 felt like the fever dream of a confused anarchist, things in the successor appear more orderly despite the ongoing crisis. This is due to the temporal distance between The Division 1 and The Division 2, which takes place seven months later.
While the streets are also covered with waste and rubble here, there are a few differences:
Instead of winter, the story of The Division 2 takes place in summer. Sunny days alternate with rainy phases
Many traces of the initial chaos have been cleared away. There are significantly fewer body bags lying around.
Nature has begun to reclaim parts of the city. Plants are breaking through the streets everywhere, and wild animals are wandering in the city.
Neglected homeless have organized themselves in settlements to avoid the criminals who have taken over the city.
You immediately sense a different threat level than in the predecessor. The opposing factions have looted the city and are likely better equipped. As in the predecessor, The Division 2 here feels extremely credible and immersive.
How is the gameplay of The Division 2 in the beta? This may be a personal sentiment, but I hated the abrupt stops of the agents in The Division 1. Once you ran into a short lead, it felt like the agent would fall over at any moment. Personally, I find the movement mechanics in the new installment significantly smoother and more pleasant.
Regarding gun behavior, I still had significant problems with the recoil behavior, which is probably also due to the fact that I have not yet installed any mods. Otherwise, the guns feel just as good as in The Division 1.
Otherwise, The Division 2 remains a tactical cover shooter. Almost anything lying around in the game world can be used as cover. I feel like I spent more time in cover since the enemies are very good at aiming in open terrain and quickly damaged my armor.
What changes to the mechanics of the game? Although I cannot really grasp the true extent of the changes yet, it is already clear that a lot will change. For example, the skill system is changing and will now be expanded through the collection of SHD tech.
In addition, you will no longer just upgrade the home base, but also the settlements found in the game world. Everything feels fresh and new and even a bit confusing. A feeling I honestly did not expect.
What can you do in the beta of The Division 2? The scope of the beta is truly gigantic. If you want, you can follow the main story, which includes a few missions. However, you can also complete side quests or simply explore the part of the city that is unlocked in the beta.
There is something to do everywhere, you can
Collect SHD tech to improve your skills (the resource plays a significantly more important role than in the predecessor)
Help settlements to unlock further bonuses
Disable enemy control points or
Venture into the Dark Zone
What bothered me were the incredibly numerous pop-in textures at even short distances. The weapons are also not yet “rounded”. Strange damage indications and peculiar behavior of the magazines (the weapon always had to be reloaded after a switch) caught my attention.
In addition, there were occasional audio dropouts and slight loading delays. Such problems are completely normal in the context of a beta. I am already looking forward to diving back into the world of The Division 2. Who would have thought?
What is your first impression of the beta? Do you like it?
