Rainbow Six Siege attracts players with cool rewards to find bugs
To combat bugs in the online shooter Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft is now mobilizing the community. Those who go on the hunt for bugs will be rewarded.
How does the bug hunt work? Ubisoft has set up a special test server for Rainbow Six Siege. Those who play on it will get early versions of updates to see and test. This way, Ubisoft aims to continue improving the online shooter.

When are players rewarded? A reward is not given for every bug found!
- A special test client must be installed, which is about 60 GB in size.
- Testers must find at least 3 bugs!
- You use R6Fix to report the bug.
- The bugs must be verified and confirmed by the developers.
- The bug must be reproducible.
- No other player may have reported the bug before you.
What rewards can testers expect? As a reward, there are raptor legs in chibi style in the form of a frost talisman.

The Division 2: With this Nemesis build, a sniper deals 4.7 million damage
The exotic sniper rifle Nemesis is currently the most powerful weapon in The Division 2. A player has now shown how to deal over 4.7 million damage with one shot. The build focuses heavily on damage.
This is the build: Reddit user swift4010 posted a short video in the subreddit for The Division 2 that revolves around the damage of the exotic Nemesis.
His goal was to break the 4.7 million damage mark. Ultimately, this was achieved after optimizing his build.
swift4010 achieved a 4.7 million headshot on heroic difficulty in a mission and took down a named boss with a single shot. This build was used for that.
4.7 Million Headshot on Elite with this Build
swift4010 uses a combination of the two gear sets Airaldi Holdings and Providence Defense.
This build is all about damage and the Nemesis sniper rifle.

Internet provider offers “Elite Gamer” service against lag – players skeptical
Lag, high ping, and disconnects can spoil the fun of an online game. A US company is now testing an “Elite Gamer Service” that always seeks the fastest connection to provide the best possible gaming experience.
What is Cox Elite Gamer? In a fast online shooter, the internet connection plays a significant role. A poor ping, lags, and disconnects can lead to a loss of enjoyment in the game.
The special service “Cox Elite Gamer” aims to change that. A test of this service is currently taking place in the USA.
For an extra $15 a month – a 100 Mbps line from Cox is additionally required – game data packets will be routed through a special, intelligent network that always seeks the fastest path for the connection. This should result in significantly fewer lags and connection interruptions.
The provider Cox states that lag can be reduced by up to 34 percent and jitter by 45 percent, while the ping can be improved by about 55 percent.

What can’t Cox Elite Gamer do? The service only deals with game data packets. Regular internet browsing or video streaming do not benefit from it.
What can the service achieve at best? If the perfect connection is found, games benefit from less lag and better pings. This can create a noticeably better outcome, especially in fast-paced titles where quick reactions are important.
What are the issues? Aside from the fact that this system is currently only planned in the USA, there can be no guarantee of an improvement in the connection.
- If you already have a very good internet connection, Cox Elite Gamer is hardly beneficial.
- If the system has to make many “jumps” to find the best connection, it can increase lag and ping again.
- The service could become obsolete if the expansion of fast internet continues to progress.
Gamers are skeptical
What do players think? Gamers show some skepticism towards the service. Generally, they are open to anything that improves the gaming experience, and the price is not a major issue. However, there is a concern.
Will the internet provider Cox throttle the regular connection for gamers to encourage them to use the new service? However, Cox states that this will not happen.

Destiny 2 warns: New Invitation of the Nine demands the impossible from you
Those looking forward to the 7th Invitation of the Nine and new lore in Destiny 2 will be disappointed. The new bounty from Xur cannot be completed. What is going on?
This task is about: For some time now, Xur has been bringing the so-called Invitations of the Nine. These are a kind of bounties that are heavily story-focused and revolve around the mysterious group “The Nine”.
In total, there are 9 such bounties. If all have been played so far, then today, April 26, with the appearance of Xur, the 7th Invitation of the Nine would be due – called “The Tower”. But there is a problem.
What is the problem with the new invitation? Before many players start the 7th Invitation of the Nine tonight, the developers have issued a warning.
In the current “This Week at Bungie” blog, they point out that the 7th Invitation of the Nine cannot be successfully completed due to an impossible requirement.
Why is the completion impossible? The invitation “The Tower” requires players to collect metaphysical samples from defeated enemies in the Tangled Shore. Specifically, Guardians are to complete the strike “The Hollowed Lair” and defeat Vex, Hive, and Scorn enemies. They have the needed samples.
The problem: In the Tangled Shore, there are no Vex at all. However, samples from this enemy race are a prerequisite for successfully completing this bounty and block progress. It seems Bungie has overlooked this.
However, note: This issue does not affect the other Invitations of the Nine. If you haven’t reached the 7th Invitation yet, there should be no difficulties. Only “The Tower” is currently not functioning.
When will there be a solution? How this “design flaw” occurred is something Bungie apparently cannot explain. However, they are currently working on how to fix this as soon as possible. There is currently no specific date for a fix.

EVE Online officially apologizes to the politician they accused of corruption
After politician and EVE Online player Brian Schoeneman was accused of leaking confidential information and committing insider trading, it has now been revealed that he is innocent.
What happened? Allegedly, the politician and lobbyist of the North American “Seafarers International Union” Brian Schoeneman leaked confidential information about the MMORPG EVE Online.
Schoeneman is a big fan of the space online game and a member of the Council of Stellar Management (CSM). This player association works closely with the developers at CCP Games and is the first to learn about updates and changes to the game in order to provide feedback.
Schoeneman was accused of exploiting his position at the CSM to commit insider trading. CCP Games even banned him. However, the politician expressed outrage and stated that he is innocent.
Innocence Proven
That’s why he was unbanned: CCP Games stated that they have thoroughly reviewed the situation. No evidence of misconduct by Schoeneman could be found.
The developers apologized to the politician. There was no indication that the NDA was violated and that he – along with two others – had profited from the insider information.
CCP Games wants to compensate the affected players now. Moreover, the developers also apologize to the EVE community, who have also expressed outrage over the situation. The ban was enacted too quickly, and a thorough investigation should have preceded it.
A Breach of Trust by the Developers
Here is how EVE players are reacting: The EVE community is currently very upset about the situation. Despite the apology from CCP Games, criticism is abundant.

That’s why thousands of Fortnite fans danced all night in a broken club
In Fortnite: Battle Royale players have been dancing all night. A new rune from the end event of Season 8 has appeared and demanded dance moves. It probably got them faster than expected.
What are the runes about? Since the Easter weekend, strange runes have been appearing in Fortnite regularly. Each one activates a segment in the massive bunker hatch at Loot Lake when certain actions are performed.
The catch: It’s not enough for one player to do this; tens of thousands of players must work together globally in many matches to activate the runes.
- For example, Rune 1 had to be beaten by masses of players until it floated from Lucky Landing to Loot Lake.
- For Rune 2, however, three lasers had to be painstakingly aligned at Loot Lake.
For each of these actions, players needed many hours and days. But for Rune 3, everything went much faster.
3rd Rune Activated in Record Time
Where was the 3rd rune and what did you have to do? Rune number three appeared yesterday, on April 25, at the shabby nightclub near the former Flush Factory in the southwest. The rune was perched on the DJ booth and had a charge indicator. This had to be filled by dancing for as long as possible.
Fortnite and dancing are two things that have always belonged together, and hordes of party fans likely flocked to the disco ruin and danced their hearts out.
This led to the rune’s charge filling in record time, and by the morning of April 26, the rune was activated and took its place at the bunker hatch. So if you wanted to dance with the rune, you were unfortunately out of luck.
What happened after the rune activation? Curiously, nothing. Only the 3rd segment at the hatch at Loot Lake was activated. However, there was no further reaction in the game world.
This is strange because in the past two instances, each time, the volcano became more active and emitted more smoke.
Perhaps something else will still come, and the players were simply much quicker than Epic had planned. That’s why the effect may not have been triggered. Or maybe it’s intentional, and the reaction to the rune is subtler this time and just wasn’t noticed.
But no matter what happens next, fans are eager to see what happens next. The appearance of Rune 4 is expected on Saturday. It remains to be seen how quickly it will be discovered and activated.

Call of Duty 2019 is likely to be Modern Warfare 4 with a huge multiplayer world
In the last few days, there have been initial hints about what the new Call of Duty in 2019 could be. It looks like it’s heading towards Modern Warfare 4. Interestingly, this time Call of Duty comes with a campaign and a large multiplayer world. Some fans are even hoping for an open world like in GTA 5.
What we officially know: There are a few lines about Call of Duty 2019 from Rob Kostich, the president of Activision, in the Activision business report from February. He promised:
- a brand-new and complete campaign
- a large and expansive multiplayer world
- and fun coop gameplay
Furthermore, some developers are raising expectations for this year’s Call of Duty. It is said to be particularly challenging, especially ambitious, and it has been received particularly well in internal game tests, every time someone shows it to someone else.
That’s why there is a lot speaking in favor of it being Modern Warfare 4: By now, the hints are strengthening that the 2019 Call of Duty will be “Modern Warfare 4”:
- The new Call of Duty is being developed by Infinity Ward, who are responsible for the “Modern Warfare” series
- One of the football players who got to test the new Call of Duty said in a stream: They just let us play the new one. It’s pretty cool. It’s like the old … it’s like the old Modern Warfare
It is not officially confirmed yet that it will be Modern Warfare 4, but at this point, everyone is actually assuming so. It would be a surprise if it turns out to be another series.

Open World like GTA 5?
This is interesting for multiplayer fans: For most fans, the news that there will be a new campaign is the big news after Call of Duty Black Ops 4 omitted the single-player story.
From a multiplayer perspective, however, the news that there will be a “large multiplayer world” is likely to be even more interesting. Especially the word “world” is interesting.
However, there is still no idea of what exactly is meant by “large and expansive multiplayer world”:
- On reddit, people are discussing that Infinity Ward has been secretly working on the game for 3 years and something “really big” could come out of it, like an “open world” similar to GTA 5.
- Others think it will simply be a “large battle” mode, where teams will go against each other.

Yuumi is the new champion in LoL – Is a cat on a flying book
Riot has unveiled the first teaser for the new supporter Yuumi. A magical book plays an important role. Leaks of the new LoL (League of Legends) champion’s abilities have also emerged.
What’s new? The first official trailer for Yuumi in League of Legends was released on April 25th. Under the title “Book of Thresholds,” you can find the video.
In the trailer, a voice speaks with the book. At the beginning, the voice says it does not need guidance, but the book has been given the task. An animation of a teleportation is shown.
The voice asks the book if they can “go back.” Upon receiving the negative reaction from the book, it reacts sadly.

Leaks on the abilities
What has been leaked? A Discord screenshot circulating on social media allegedly describes Yuumi’s abilities. This has not been officially confirmed yet.
We summarize the leaked abilities here for you:
- Passive: After a certain charging time, the next auto-attack deals extra magic damage and slows the target.
- Q: A skill shot that deals magic damage. If the ability is in the air for at least one second, it deals extra damage and slows the target. The spell cannot pierce minions. While in the W ability form, the skill shot follows the mouse pointer and can be controlled that way.
- W: You jump to an ally and become untargetable. This buffs the allied champion you are tethered to. The connection only breaks when the allied champion dies or you activate W again to “free” yourself. During this time, you are untargetable, automatically follow the linked champion, and can use all abilities.
- E: A healing spell with 2 charges. If you use it, you heal yourself. If you use it in W form, you also heal the linked champion.
- R: Throws 7 waves that deal area damage and root targets hit if they are struck by at least 3 waves. The waves automatically fly in the direction you are looking after activation. While the ulti is active, you can use all other abilities.
Whether the abilities will be implemented in the game as leaked remains unclear. Yuumi is not yet on the test servers.

Pokémon GO changes the Pokémon in eggs – Here’s what you need to know
Pokémon GO is changing the egg pool! They announced that you will now find different Pokémon in the eggs. What we know so far, we will tell you here.
How are the Pokémon changing? Niantic has already provided some examples regarding the respective eggs. You will find some baby Pokémon now in 2 km eggs. The 10 km eggs will contain shinies and rare Pokémon from the 4th generation.
Every change is not yet known, as the eggs will only change today, on May 26, at 10 PM. All eggs that you receive by then will include Pokémon from the old egg pool.
What we know about the changes to the egg pool
What Niantic announced: In their announcement, Niantic mentioned several Pokémon that can now hatch from the eggs. These include:
- 2 km eggs: Chelast, Panflam, Plinfa, Mobai
- 5 km eggs: Tragosso, Wadribie, Bamelin, Charmian, Bronzel, Pionskora, Glibunkel
- 10 km eggs: Flunkifer, Absol, Sheinux, Koknodon, Schilterus, Riolu
What is strange about the announcement: Niantic presents the changes to the eggs, but many of these Pokémon were already present in the mentioned eggs. So all the mentioned Pokémon were already included in the 10 km eggs. They are not new.
Likewise, the 3 starters of the 4th generation have been in the 2 km eggs for some time now.
This change is surprising: For a long time, all baby Pokémon could only be found in the 7 km eggs. If Mobai is now in the 2 km eggs, then something is changing here. Whether more babies will also transition to the 2 km eggs is not known.
Will more changes be made to the eggs? The developers confirmed that there will be further changes. One can certainly expect that Niantic will change more Pokémon in the eggs. The changes mentioned so far are not really new.
What players hope for: Many trainers hope that the mentioned changes are not the only ones. There is especially hope for new Pokémon.

Hearthstone professional explains why the matches can now last for hours
Matches in Hearthstone are expected to last significantly longer. At least during the World Championship, as “Endless Decks” are popular.
The new cards from “Conspiracy of Shadows” bring fun, new deck combinations to Hearthstone. However, some players might find certain combos rather annoying, as they could drag games on endlessly. At least that is what Muzahidul Islam, better known as “Muzzy”, fears. He is competing in the Hearthstone World Championship.
Warriors will dominate: In an interview with PCGamesN, Muzzy stated that the Bomb Warrior would likely dominate the World Championship. The issue lies not with the Bomb Warrior itself, but with a combination of cards that allows players to create an almost endless deck.
This lengthens the matches, especially when both sides are playing such a deck.
What are the problem cards? Specifically, this concerns Archivist Elysiana. This legendary minion removes the player’s deck via Battlecry and then creates a new deck from ten cards. Usually, such a Battlecry is only triggered once, but through “recall mechanics,” the effect can be played multiple times.
Currently, the “Ruthless Greed” is the problem. For two mana, it chooses a friendly minion and shuffles it back into the deck. This is done with Archivist Elysiana.
Muzzy assumes that Blizzard will change something about the cards and likely also “Mad Genius Dr. Boom” after the World Championship. These cards simply provide too much “Value” and would ensure that the Warrior is currently in too strong a position.

How do I get a research breakthrough? To get this, you need to complete field research for 7 days and collect the reward for it. They don’t have to be 7 consecutive days. If you complete a quest on 7 days, you get the chance for one of the four Pokémon.

Destiny 2 is soon going to nerf two of its best PvP weapons
In Season 7, two of the most popular weapons in the Crucible will be nerfed – the hand cannons Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten. What exactly is changing?
These are the weapons: The hand cannons Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten are two top weapons in the Crucible that came into the game with the launch of Forsaken.
They are tied to lengthy, challenging PvP quests and are difficult for most Guardians to obtain. However, for many, the effort is worth it – after all, you get two of the best weapons for PvP. But that might soon change.
What does Bungie have planned? As Bungie announced in the current “This Week at Bungie” blog, they plan to weaken these two top weapons in the upcoming Season 7. The changes are significant enough that they could disrupt the current PvP meta.
Bungie is aware that players have invested a lot of time and energy into obtaining these weapons or are still doing so. Therefore, they want to communicate these changes in a timely manner.
Why the nerf? The two weapons are very dominant in the Crucible – in Bungie’s eyes, too dominant. Their special perk “Magnificent Howl” is simply too effective.
This allows two rapid successive precision shots to grant bonus damage for a short time, until the next kill is made or a shot misses.
This effectively reduces the Time to Kill of the weapons to the point that many players feel that no other primary weapons can truly compete in direct duels.
Here are the changes: Apparently, nothing will change regarding the quests for the weapons. However, the perk mechanics and the rate of fire of the weapons will be adjusted.
The fire rate of Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten will initially be reduced from 180 to 150 shots per minute. These two hand cannons will then be the only precision hand cannons with 150 RPM. However, the recoil behavior and animation will remain like those of hand cannons with 180 RPM.
The perk “Magnificent Howl” will only grant bonus damage on body shots and no longer on critical hits when activated. As a result, the weapons can no longer two-tap in the Crucible, meaning they cannot kill with just two hits. After the perk change, two critical hits and one body shot will be required to down an opponent in PvP.
How are the fans reacting? This news has divided the fan base. Some are happy, as this could break the meta and allow other weapons to become more viable in the Crucible. After all, these two hand cannons are currently very dominant.
Others are frustrated that they have invested so much time and effort into obtaining these weapons, only to see it all devalued – just because Bungie listens to the “crying casuals” again.
Additionally, many fans believe that the weapons, in their current form, are a worthy reward for all the effort they require. It still takes skill to use these weapons effectively, and the perk is situational. Therefore, they cannot really understand this nerf.
Meanwhile, other players remain calm and want to wait and see how the changes will actually play out.

Streamer Shroud meets a suicide bomber in PUBG – Can only laugh
In Shroud’s streams, the former CS:GO pro frequently plays shooters. Currently, he is revisiting PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) and experienced a funny encounter with a “suicide bomber” there.
What happened? In his stream from April 24, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek played PUBG again. Recently, he had been playing Apex Legends and Escape from Tarkov, but is now back on the fields of Erangel.
On the Erangel map in PUBG, there is a notorious bridge where fights often break out. Campers frequently gather there, hoping to catch passing players.
Shroud and one of his teammates were in a car, while an ally was following them on a motorcycle. When they drove past a barricade, the suicide bomber jumped out from behind it, having presumably waited in disguise.
How did the story end? The bomber did not hit Shroud’s vehicle but the motorcycle and its rider following the two players driving ahead.
Shroud apparently found this situation very amusing. He initially shouted “ahhh suicide bomber” but then laughed after the explosion. It also seemed noteworthy that the motorcycle continued to drive down the street, burning and without a rider.
It appears that this was a stream sniper targeting the streamer Shroud. However, Shroud has had cooler encounters with snipers before.
What do suicide bombers do in PUBG? As Dexerto reports, they are a type of player in PUBG who want to “troll” other players. They do not take the game seriously and aim to ruin the fun for others with these actions.
By blowing themselves up, they gain no advantage in the game with the kill, but solely aim to take other players down.

Fortnite is a completely different game in Endgame mode – And I love it
In Fortnite: Battle Royale the long-awaited Avengers mode Endgame has started. In it, you fight either for Thanos or the Avengers for the six Infinity Stones. Our Fortnite and Avengers fan Jürgen has played the new mode.
If you know me, you know that since Apex Legends and the rather disappointing 8th season for me Fortnite is currently not ranking high on my top list of games.
However, all of that changed with the new game mode Endgame!
The Basics of Endgame
This is how Endgame works: Even when I was writing the news about the patch notes for update 8.5, I thought, “Wow, the new mode sounds awesome!”
Because you fight in a 20vs20 format with respawns either as an Avengers team or Thanos’ Chituari army for six Infinity Stones that gradually appear on the map.
The Chituari have a total of 100 respawns and start fully equipped with a laser, an energy grenade launcher, and a jetpack. They cannot carry any additional equipment and cannot heal. However, they can harvest and build.
If the Chituari find a stone, the lucky finder becomes Thanos, who has the already known powers from last year.
The Avengers have unlimited respawns as long as the Chituari have not found all six Infinity Stones. The Avengers are regular Fortnite heroes. They start with two weapons and a treasure map. This leads to one of five special Avengers items:
- Iron Man’s Repulsor Gloves
- Hawkeye’s Bow
- Thor’s Stormbreaker Axe
- Captain America’s Vibranium Shield
Fortnite is Fun Again!
How does the new mode play out? In my first round of Endgame, I was assigned to the Avengers team. Fitting with the new Black Widow outfit that I had acquired earlier.
As soon as the round started, all Avengers ran around and grabbed cool weapons. Thanks to my treasure map, I found Thor’s mighty Stormbreaker Axe. It works similarly to the hated Infinity Sword from Season 7. You can deal damage in close combat and make huge jumps. You can also throw it and have it return to you.
However, my first kill was still a Chituari who was camping stupidly on the horizon and whom I shot with the assault rifle.
Once I was in the fray, the action really kicked off. An Infinity Stone appeared and a few Avengers defended it against a horde of Chituari. My team was not fully assembled as some were still looking for weapons.
This is how the two factions differ: The Chituari, who start completely equipped and cannot pick anything up, did not have this problem, so they always move focused towards the respective stone, which at least at the start of the game automatically leads to a Chituari overpopulation.
This is why the purple aliens also burst easily, because although their lasers are quite strong, they have little chance against powerful weapons like Hawkeye’s explosive arrows or Iron Man’s repulsors. Thus, the aliens always pay a high price when they confront well-fortified Avengers.
However, if Thanos is there, the tide turns quickly, as the Titan takes down careless Avengers. However, he is not invulnerable either, because unlike in 2018, there are now strong Avengers weapons against him.
A Delightful Chaos!
This is how a round of Endgame develops: With each stone that Team Thanos loses, the tide turns more in favor of the Chituari. Because for every stone, all Chituari gain 25 additional points of health and shield, and Thanos learns new tricks.
Therefore, every round of Endgame becomes more intense and exciting as it progresses.
The Chituari’s recipe for success is to limit their own losses until the last phase, while the Avengers are doing the opposite. They are usually superior individually and can also throw themselves at the enemy recklessly.
Until the “Endgame” at the end, because then their respawns suddenly disappear, and often an extremely close battle ignites between Thanos and his last Chituari and the remaining Avengers in a very confined space.
Conclusion: A Whole New Fortnite
This is why I like Endgame so much: I love the fast action of Fortnite, but I still don’t like building, and I would like various heroes like in Apex Legends. Endgame fulfills both desires for me, at least partially.
Because of the overwhelmingly powerful Avengers weapons and the Chituari with their grenades as well as Thanos’ superpowers, even mighty fortifications collapse like houses of cards. Of course, building is still useful, but by far not as relevant as in the regular modes.
And because of the different equipment of the two factions, each creates a unique gaming feeling:
- The Chituari must – especially at the beginning of the game – tactically proceed as a team and optimally utilize “their” Thanos to drive away the Avengers and capture the essential stones. Only then can they become stronger and win in the end.
- The Avengers, on the other hand, are initially a bunch of lone fighters who play differently depending on weapon selection and can effectively clear out the enemies. However, they are fighting a losing battle, because with every stone that is captured, the opponent grows stronger and their advantage fades.
This is how the new mode creates a unique tension that lasts from the first to the last second.
This is how Fortnite becomes fun for me again, and I hope that Epic will provide even more cool new modes in the future.

Pokémon GO: Shiny Wadribie is coming to the event in Korea – But what about us?
In Pokémon GO, a new Shiny is expected to be available in just a few days. Shiny Wadribie is finding its way into the game through an event in Korea.
How does Shiny Wadribie enter the game? In Korea, Pokémon GO is celebrating Korea Week. During this event, special Pokémon spawn in specific locations in Korea.
The official announcement mentions Shiny Wadribie, a shiny Pokémon that is not yet in the game.
