Claptrap will no longer be the same in Borderlands 3. This is because he has a new voice actor – the blame lies with a dispute between the actor and Gearbox.
Even in the first gameplay scenes of Borderlands 3 some fans raised their eyebrows in confusion. After all, the voice of one of the series’ most important characters, Claptrap, had changed.
The quirky, annoying robot with grand delusions has received a new voice actor. The reason for this is a dispute between the former voice actor David Eddings and the heads of Gearbox.
What happened? While watching the first gameplay of Borderlands 3, longtime fans immediately noticed that Claptrap had a new voice. Naturally, fans wanted to know immediately what was responsible for the change of voice actor and why the speaker had been changed in the first place. This led to a small mudslinging match on Twitter.
These are the views: David Eddings believes that he was not adequately compensated for his work. Randy Pitchford, on the other hand, claims that Eddings is greedy and refused, even though they wanted to pay him double the guaranteed industry rate. In Gearbox’s statement, it states that there simply was no agreement.
Eddings blames Gearbox: Eddings was previously employed by Gearbox and was therefore the voice of Claptrap. Employees of Gearbox have the opportunity to lend their voice to characters in games if they want to. This is done without any extra pay, simply during working hours. However, Dawids is no longer working at Gearbox, as he was fired. On Twitter, he said that “for the first time he insisted on being paid for his work, and suddenly they could no longer afford it.”

This is what the Gearbox CEO says about it: Randy Pitchford responded to fans’ inquiries and explained:
“The current issue is that Mr. Eddings is bitter and upset about being fired. He was offered double [the industry standard rate], he declined. I don’t want him to do it unless he wants to, since motivation affects performance.”

In his view, Eddings wanted way too much money for the job, so a different voice actor was chosen.
The official statement from Gearbox: The colleagues from IGN asked Gearbox for an official statement and received the following:
“(…) In this case, where he [David Eddings] is no longer an employee of ours, we wanted to pay him according to industry standards, but we couldn’t reach an agreement. However, we are comfortable and happy with Jim Faronda as the voice of Claptrap and expect our fans to be satisfied as well.”
Who the “bad guy” in this story really is can only be determined with difficulty. In any case, fans of the English original version will have to live with a new voice for Claptrap.
Who is the new voice? The new voice actor for Claptrap is, by the way, Jim Foronda. He is mainly known for English anime dubbing such as in the newer parts of “Dragon Ball” or “Fullmetal Alchemist”.
Do you think it is acceptable that Claptrap has a new voice? Or are you playing in the German version anyway and all this drama doesn’t matter to you?
Bug when leaving the lobby: When your 6 selected Pokémon are defeated during a raid, you should automatically leave the lobby, allowing you to revive your Pokémon or select new monsters.

However, with this bug, you do not leave the lobby. You have to do this manually by pressing the leave button at the top left. Valuable seconds are lost, which can be crucial in battle.
Faulty Pokémon switch: This bug occurs less frequently than the first one. Nevertheless, numerous players report this issue. It appears as if your Pokémon is being defeated and a new monster from your team appears.
In reality, your Pokémon is not defeated, and the new monster that appears is the same one. This is just a display error that still costs you time, as no damage can be done during the supposed switch.
Could the bugs be fixed? Fixing these bugs could certainly happen quickly. It often happens that errors sneak into Pokémon GO updates, which are then fixed in the subsequent update.
With the upcoming update, it will show whether both bugs can be resolved quickly or if more time is needed.
There is another error in the game where Pokémon GO is banning innocent trainers:
Patch 8.2 of World of Warcraft is packed with content. Among them are many really useful recipes for all professions.
Professions are a constantly debated topic in World of Warcraft. Some players find them useless, while others believe that specific professions offer too great an advantage. However, professions are in constant flux. With Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, there are a whole bunch of new recipes that make the professions more useful. Many “old” recipes will hardly be usable afterward.
We will show you a few new recipes that will soon gain relevance.
New assortment for Alchemists: Alchemists, in particular, receive a whole bunch of new recipes. Among them are not only better versions of existing potions but also new flasks and even completely new potions. Here are a few examples:
The “Abyssal Healing Potion” restores a whopping 130,000 health points when used. The current “Coastal Healing Potion” only restores a paltry 34,000 health points. That’s an improvement of nearly 300 %.
The healing potion is nearly 4x better than the previous version.
All flasks will receive a “large” version. This is nearly 50 % more effective than the previous flasks. The “Large Flask of Endless Depth” increases intelligence for one hour by 360 – the old version only provides 238 intelligence. The other flasks see a similar improvement.
New potions include the “Potion of Steadfast Determination”. This temporarily increases the critical strike chance against the current target by 20 %.
Jewelers also receive new content: Jewelers receive the same treatment as Alchemists. They can cut new gemstones that are, on average, 50 % more powerful than the previous ones from the current version.
Where a Reflective Owl’s Eye with +40 haste is currently the best, soon there will be the Reflective Sandspinell, which grants +60 haste – again, an increase of 50 %.
Enchantments with high values: Enchanting specialists receive entirely new enchantments. These occasionally increase a primary attribute by 500 and have an additional effect. This includes increased mana regeneration or a stackable boost to secondary stats (like critical strike rating).
New gear for Blacksmiths, Tailors, and Leatherworkers: The three “armor” professions will each have the opportunity to create gear at level 370, which is suitable as starter equipment for secondary characters or newcomers and can be traded.
Furthermore, these professions receive new recipes to manufacture high-quality equipment with item levels 415, 430, and 445.
The costs currently seem too cheap – there is surely still a resource missing.
It is likely that it will once again require visits to raids, as currently, the resource costs on the PTR are still quite low – it seems there is still a component missing.
Fresh resources in Nazjatar: With the new recipes, there are also new crafting materials that can be found in Nazjatar. This includes new plants, such as Zin’anthid or Osmenite Ore for miners. It is therefore necessary to spend time in the new areas if one wants to use the new recipes.
In principle, it can be said that with Patch 8.2 all professions can produce “more and better.” This includes not only the armor workers but also the other professions such as Alchemy, Jewelcrafting, and Cooking. Professions remain relevant in Patch 8.2 – at least for the top players who want to compete at the highest level.
You have a few days left in Season 16 of Diablo 3. The end is still in May. The start of Season 17 is already around the corner – and the new season will be huge.
This date had been suspected for some time but was only recently confirmed by Blizzard. Usually, they take their time until a few days before the end of a season to announce a final end date.
With the passive bonuses of the Ring of Royal Grandeur, Season 16 brought many cool sets into the rankings of Diablo 3. You can see the strongest here:
You can expect new Qual levels that should make playing at higher difficulties even more interesting and rewarding. Additionally, there is a new season theme that will likely disrupt the meta significantly.
Just the announcement of the new event sparked joy among the fans:
Many players have already suspected it and now it is confirmed: A new Ghost Recon game is coming to market. The premiere will take place on May 9.
This was announced: Via Twitter, Ubisoft announced that a new game in the Ghost Recon series is coming to market. The first insights into the game will be available on May 9 at 8:30 PM.
What this installment is about exactly is still unknown. So far, only one image of the game has been released.
The new Ghost Recon installment – What we already know
There was a suspicion: A few days ago, the assumption arose that a new game in the Tom Clancy series was coming to market. There were signs in the game Ghost Recon Wildlands.
This is how Ubisoft unofficially announced the premiere. Now we have confirmation.
There, players were invited to a conference by Skell Technology. This conference is scheduled for May 9 at 8:30 PM.
This company has always been associated with Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six Siege.
It was suspected that this conference is a secret announcement for a new game and they were right, as the Ghost Recon installment will be presented at that time.
What can we expect now? A first stream of the game will be shown on May 9. It may be possible to see in which region the game takes place. Perhaps we will also learn more about a release date.

Will there be Ghost Recon Wildlands 2? Many players have hoped for a second part of Wildlands, but so far we only know that it will be another Ghost Recon installment. Whether we will again be in Wildlands remains to be seen.
There is a website: A website has already been created a few days ago, which is managed by Skell Technology. So far, there has been no access. Now the date of the world premiere is visible there.
What are you hoping for? Do you want a second part of Wildlands?
If you want to go to BlizzCon, you should have a smartphone. Otherwise, you won’t be able to show a ticket. However, the ticket app has already gained a bad reputation…
Around BlizzCon, another small scandal has spread on social media in recent days. Anyone who wants to attend BlizzCon 2019 must use an app on their smartphone. Quickly, rumors circulated that the app is just “spyware in disguise.” Fans are concerned about their data.
What happened? Blizzard announced how BlizzCon 2019 will take place. Anyone purchasing a ticket and wanting to attend in person must install the AXS mobile app on their smartphone. The app then generates a QR code that is scanned at the entrance.
Why is Blizzard using the app? The app creates a new QR code for each ticket at changing intervals. This is intended to combat the illegal resale of tickets and potential forgery. Since the code changes regularly, forgery is practically impossible, and only the smartphone owner can gain access to the event.
What bothers users? A few users did some research and found out that the AXS app accesses a lot of information from the smartphone. It can read the entire contact data, including names, phone numbers, and more, in addition to location information. All this data could then be shared unencrypted with third parties.
This concerns users who are afraid for their data and do not want it to be used by other companies. Those who just want to go to BlizzCon, as they say, shouldn’t have to share all their data with countless companies around the world.
The accusations from some concerned users on Reddit even border on the absurd. It is also often claimed that the app has permission to share customers’ credit card numbers, including the security number, with others.
A few fans want to calm things down: However, there are also some people who defend AXS and explain that the app’s terms of use meet current standards. Anyone who uses any social network would already have “bigger problems” than those the AXS app could ever create.
Whether the app is really as terrible as some users claim or if people are finally reading the terms and conditions of such applications for the first time is probably hard to say.
Getting to BlizzCon without the app: By the way, Blizzard mentioned in the same post that BlizzCon visitors could also attend the event without the app in case “your smartphone is broken” or “for some reason you cannot access the app.” Then one would have to go to a specific service point on-site to receive assistance.
At least one good thing has definitely come from the app. The question “Do you guys not have phones?” can probably be avoided at BlizzCon 2019.
What is your opinion on this situation? Is it completely normal for Blizzard to switch to a digital ticket system? Should Blizzard have created their own app for this? Or are the fans overreacting?
That’s why this is a normal process:Mike Gamble was the lead producer, the senior producer of Anthem. This role is particularly relevant during development phases.
Typically, a senior producer is responsible for managing and leading the product. He or she ensures that set goals are achieved.
Anthem is now being taken over by the live team. The senior producer will then be the team member Ben Irving. Many also know him already, as he was already involved in the development of Anthem.
The game is now being further developed and provided with updates by this team. According to Bioware, this has been the plan from the beginning.
It is not unusual for certain employees to be reassigned to other projects at such times. Dragon Age 4 is Bioware’s next big project, so it is not surprising that leading figures are being drawn there now.
Delayed updates – Anthem is in a dilemma
This worries fans: With the last patch, Bioware announced that they would push back the planned content for April to indefinitely. This included various features like new freeplay events or the next story section, Cataclysms.
This decision caused discontent among fans. Many see it as an indication that Bioware may not plan to deliver this content at all.
That’s why it’s a normal process: Anthem has fundamental problems that stem from the difficulties encountered during development.
The technical state of the game, which was extremely poor at times, weighed the heaviest
There were and still are numerous bugs, glitches, and optimization errors.
Although it should not be normal according to common opinions for a game to come out in such a state, there are still such cases. These include more well-known titles such as The Division 1 or Fallout 76.
In such a situation, the most logical course of action is to first address the problems. The technical condition of a game should ideally always matter more to developers than new content. Because what good is content if you can’t play it due to bugs and glitches?
Therefore, this decision was likely inevitable. Currently, Anthem is primarily dealing with its technical difficulties rather than new content.
Bioware has decreased communication
This worries fans: For the past few weeks, some fans have criticized that Bioware is no longer as communicative as at the release of Anthem.
The developers respond less often directly to fan questions,
and do not engage as much with the community anymore.
This leads many fans to conclude that the developers are no longer evaluating feedback as thoroughly as they did at release.
Some even suspect that support for Anthem is simply being gradually reduced and that this is a sign of that. However, this is also observable in other games.
That’s why this is a normal process: It is rather common for developers to reduce communication after major release phases of their games.
After release, developers’ attention is often still focused on necessary patches for any bug fixes. Often, developers work overtime to get the next update ready quickly.
Moreover, in the case of Anthem, many players have been “very emotional” in their feedback. This often resulted in wild insults and threats, which is why developers tend to respond less to messages, as community manager Jesse Anderson explained to a fan.
Also in The Division 2, the developers reduced communication nearly two months after the release, and that was among the most successful games in March. So, it does not matter whether a game starts successfully; it is simply routine. Developers often prefer to announce something only when there is solid news.
However, there are also counterexamples, such as Digital Extremes, the developers of the online shooter Warframe. They have been among the most communicative development studios for years.
Fans do not want a “normal” plan
Why is there so much uncertainty despite “normal”? After all the above-mentioned problems that Anthem has, fans wish for a stronger reaction from Bioware.
For after the insider report, the situation of Anthem looks very bleak for all parties involved. Many players hope that Bioware can “really get going”, signaling that to the fans and pulling the cart out of the mud.
As player Amuriel on Twitter writes: “I defended you guys from the beginning because a lot of complaints were pure bullshit. But the handling after the release of Anthem could not be worse. Both in game development and communication. Actions speak louder than words. And I see hardly any actions from you.”
These 3 above-mentioned signals may be quite normal processes within a development studio. But for their players, developers are sending the wrong signals. They reinforce fans’ fears that the game might soon be abandoned.
So far, many have interpreted Bioware’s actions as a signal of “We’re keeping everything calm according to plan and seeing how it goes”, which after all the negative press is another disappointment for some.
Currently, it seems that Bioware is going to stay on this course. The reassuring voices from Bioware do not help; many have lost faith.
The Reddit user RentalGore writes to Bioware: “You may all be very committed, but real commitment depends on whether EA gives you the resources to rebuild the game. I doubt your commitment.”
The atmosphere around Anthem is overall bleak, the subreddit is almost overflowing with negative posts.
What happens next? That is open. Anthem is now in the hands of the live team. They will continue to work on patches and new content for Anthem. However, what this will look like is unclear.

Anthem is currently struggling with many problems. Many processes that Bioware is going through are actually completely normal – even if they are causing some concern. We show you why.
some leading Anthem developers being reassigned to the teams around Dragon Age 4
These events are currently causing a bad atmosphere, although many of them are rather part of the normal process. By “normal”, we mean processes that are part of the daily routine of development studios following a release.
If these processes are normal, why is there still a bad mood?
Bioware reallocates senior developers to Dragon Age 4
This worries fans: It was only on May 3 that it became known that Bioware is pulling well-known developers like Mike Gamble and Mark Darrah from Anthem. Instead, the focus is now on Dragon Age 4.
In the eyes of most players, the game never really seemed finished. Now, senior developers are leaving before it is even remotely at the level that many hope for?

In Fortnite: Battle Royale is back with one of the most controversial weapons: the Drum Gun. The weapon has many fans but almost as many opponents who find it way too strong.
Why is the Drum Gun back? On May 4, 2019, during a special event, the “Vault” was opened. Inside were six items that had been removed from the game, and players could choose which of the once-banned items should make a return.
What is the problem with the Drum Gun? The reason the Drum Gun was removed back then was that the so-called “spray meta” became overwhelming. This referred to a playstyle where players using the Drum Gun would simply spray bullets while running, easily working through cover and opponents.

The spray gameplay did not require much skill and was therefore very popular, especially among younger players. These times are likely to return, as Epic has seemingly brought the weapon back in its original state from Season 5 without adjustments.
For many experienced players, this is a bad signal, as Epic, in their opinion, has returned their favorite toy to a horde of kids, ruining the fun for the more mature players.
Ninja demands nerf
This is what professionals like Ninja complain about regarding the Drum Gun. The most prominent opponent of the Drum Gun is streamer Ninja. He generally likes the weapon and also thought the event to choose it was cool. But Epic really needs to tweak the weapon:
“I love what Epic has done. That they allowed us to bring back one of the weapons from the vault. I think that was a great idea. I love it. But guys, something needs to happen! The Drum Gun needs a buff on its rarity. It should become Gold [legendary rarity].”

Ninja is referring here to the rarity of the weapon. The Drum Gun is currently only “Uncommon” and “Rare.” This means you can find it in every corner.
According to Ninja, the final battles in the late game consist only of guys who are spraying wildly with the Drum Gun, totally ruining the current tactic of building and fortifying.
This cannot continue. But whatever Epic does, the weapon will likely remain in the game for a while and will have a lasting impact on the meta of Season 9 (and the big World Cup finals).
Similarly, the end of Tilted Towers resonates emotionally with the fans.

This is what the shiny family of Snubbull looks like
What we know about the event Pokémon: The movie features various Pokémon that play a role. It is unclear which ones Niantic will choose for Pokémon GO. Pokémon from different generations are involved in the movie, so it is not possible to make a selection here either.

In a fitting trailer for the event, Niantic, however, showcases a small selection of the event Pokémon. These include:
Snubbull
Ducklett
Jigglypuff
Bulbasaur
Snubbull
These could be potential raid bosses: In the trailer, Niantic shows Pokémon like Charizard, Blastoise, or Snorlax. They could be found in raids. Thus, one can assume that the current raid bosses will be replaced during the event.
This is why the event exists: The event revolves around the movie “Detective Pikachu”, which will be released in theaters in Germany on May 9. Niantic celebrates this film release with an in-game event.
In addition to the event field research, there will also be the following quests:
In Fortnite: Battle Royale the 9th season begins in a few days. The first teaser along with the date has now surfaced.
When does Season 9 come out? According to a Twitter post from developer Epic Games, Season 9 is coming this week, on May 9, 2019. Contrary to rumors that Season 8 will be extended, the season will indeed end after 11 weeks.
What does the teaser image show? As usual, the theme of the next season is announced in teaser images. This time, we see a kind of futuristic skin with a demon mask. The caption says: “The future is unknown.”

This could come in Season 9: As in previous seasons, more teasers are likely to appear every day until Thursday, culminating in an overall picture and thus a concrete hint at the new theme of Season 9:
The text “The future is uncertain” could suggest a futuristic setting. Perhaps the ruins of Tilted and Retail will be transformed into high-tech locations.
The skin in the teaser looks like a robot or cyber warrior. It somewhat resembles an Exo from Destiny or the demon skin of Genji from Overwatch.
Some players also see parallels to the beast mode skins that once existed in Fortnite.
The closer we get to May 9, the more information we have about Season 9. What do you think about the upcoming setting?
Activision, the publisher of the “Call of Duty” franchise, has now narrowed down the timeframe in which fans can expect an announcement for the new Call of Duty 2019.Will it happen at E3 2019?
Recently, Activision held their Earnings Call, a financial report for investors, for the first quarter of 2019. Besides balance sheets, figures, and more info on the performance of the product range.
There was also a note about when the new, officially still unnamed Call of Duty 2019 can be expected to be revealed.
This is what Activision says about the reveal of Call of Duty 2019: After the first select players got to play the new Call of Duty 2019, many fans are now eagerly awaiting the announcement of the next Call of Duty installment. Now there is finally a first official statement.
This is where the gameplay event took place
As Activision announced in the first Earnings Call of 2019, the new title will be announced soon. More specifically, it was stated that Call of Duty 2019 is expected to be revealed later in the second quarter of 2019. Specifically, that means: in a timeframe from now until June 30. Then the second quarter officially ends. The game is slated for release traditionally in the fourth quarter of 2019, according to the publisher.
Thus, Call of Duty 2019 is likely to continue the trend for this reveal timeframe for new franchise titles. New series entries have typically been revealed in April or May of a year in recent years. Fans probably won’t have to wait until the end of June, as long as Activision sticks to its previous pattern.
So, besides an own reveal event like Black Ops 4, which took place on May 17, 2018, an announcement at this year’s E3 event in early June between the 11th and the 14th is also conceivable.
Update May 6: Recently, it was confirmed that Infinity Ward, the studio responsible for Call of Duty 2019, will indeed be present with Call of Duty at the E3 2019 Game Fair in Los Angeles. A reveal there is therefore quite likely.

What is known so far about the new Call of Duty 2019? Officially not really much. In February, Rob Kostich, the president of Activision, revealed some brief details:
Call of Duty 2019 is said to offer a completely new campaign. Thus, single-player fans should also find their enjoyment.
There is expected to be a massive and expandable multiplayer world
The game is also expected to offer fun coop gameplay.
There are increasingly strong indications that the new Call of Duty could be a Modern Warfare 4. More about this can be found here:
In The Elder Scrolls Online the new Necromancer is currently playable on the test server. Additionally, the developers have released a detailed video that describes the development of the new class.
What is the Necromancer? In the upcoming ESO addon Elsweyr, along with dragons and cat creatures , there is also a new class: The Necromancer. Players have been requesting this since the Beta. The 6th class in ESO summons the undead and uses death magic to annihilate enemies or even to heal.
However, according to the developers, the Necromancer is not just a rehash of the sorcerer class with dark spells and a few undead pets. Rather, they have put considerable effort into making the new class unique.
This is what the new class in ESO contains
These are the roles of the Necromancer:
Like all classes in ESO, the Necromancer can take on any of the three classic MMORPG roles. He can be a tank, damage dealer, and even a healer.

This is what makes the Necromancer unique in ESO:
When designing the new class, the developers wanted to ensure that it would not be a “sorcerer with undead pets” or a “dragon knight with necro powers.” Instead, they focused on a unique flair and special abilities that set the Necro apart from the other 5 classes:
The Necro has access to almost all elements, including fire, frost, lightning, poison, scarecrows, and magic damage. Other classes usually have only 2 such elements. This makes the Necro versatile.
The corpses are a special effect and a kind of mini-game. The more corpses you have, the better effects you can get from your skills. This makes the Necro unique and fun.
Many players are pleased that the damage tree of the Necro can almost exclusively be converted to stamina. This is a welcome change as ranged combat has mostly relied on magicka so far.
Since Necromancy is forbidden, there are consequences for using your skills in the city. You will be treated like thieves and murderers, and a bounty will be placed on your head.
The Necromancer has particularly cool animations, such as the characteristic devil horns gesture he makes during the third cast of Flame Skull, which metal fans will recognize well.
In the following paragraphs, you will learn more about the skills of the Necromancer itself.

This skill tree of the Necromancer focuses on direct damage. He uses a series of death magic and quickly manageable undead. Almost all skills can be converted to stamina skills.
These are the skills:
Flame Skull: Here you throw an exploding skull at the enemy. This skill can later be modified into a stamina skill with poison damage or a bouncing projectile.
Blastbones: A burning skeleton rises, jumps on the opponent, and explodes. It leaves behind a corpse. Can be developed into a stamina skill with disease damage.
Boneyard: An AoE effect that continuously deals damage in the area. Can become stronger through corpse utilization.
Skeletal Mage: A skeletal mage is summoned for 16 seconds, attacking enemies by itself. It leaves behind a corpse and can be morphed into a stamina skill.
Shocking Siphon: All enemies between you and a corpse take damage. You can also use this skill as a stamina skill.
Frozen Colossus (Ultimate): An undead colossus rises from the ground and smashes enemies before it. This ability can also become a stamina skill.
The tank line of the Necromancer focuses on classic damage reduction and self-healing. Therefore, you get skills that give you more armor and heal at the expense of your enemies.
These are the skills:
Death Scythe:
A cool damage skill that summons a scythe to deal damage and heal. Can be used as a stamina skill.
Bone Armor: A classic armor spell that grants you more armor and various buffs to resistance. It can also pull ranged enemies or make other skills cheaper.
Bitter Harvest: Here you gain temporary life energy and ultimate points from corpses. Ideal when fighting bosses with many adds.
Bone Totem: A buff that grants you and your friends resistance to damage and roots enemies at the end.
Grave Grasp:
A snare that allows you to slow down or completely hold enemies.
Bone Goliath Transformation (Ultimate): You instantly turn into a giant bone creature with 30,000 health. You are also automatically healed to this amount. Ideal when you are about to die. Additionally, your attacks become stronger.
Living Dead (Healer)
The healer Necromancer is an effective supporter. He uses corpses and can quickly restore life to himself and allies. As an ultimate ability, he can resurrect almost the entire group!
These are the skills:
Render Flesh: A healing effect for you and an ally. For this, the Necro weakens himself.
Expunge: You remove negative effects and gain energy back depending on your orientation.
Life amid Death: An AoE heal that gets even better when corpses are utilized.
Spirit Mender: Creates a spirit that heals for 16 seconds. Then it leaves behind a corpse.
Restoring Tether: Works like Shocking Tether from the damage tree, except that the effect heals instead of damages.
Reanimate (Ultimate): You revive up to 3 friends from the dead. You can further enhance the skill so that a horde of exploding skeletons is created additionally.
By the way, we were allowed to try the Necro live a while ago:
In the latest update for the survival MMO Conan Exiles, you can retreat from the battles in the desert and the north and become a farmer instead. We show you how!
Plants have a very special function in Conan Exiles. They not only serve as food but are also an essential component for brews, healing potions, dyes, and other alchemical recipes. However, they are most important for construction, in the form of plant fibers for ropes.
Until now, players had to painstakingly collect plants at their locations and wait for them to reappear. It often happened that on densely populated servers, a clan had claimed a position around aloe plants and yellow lotus.
In the new update 33, you can now grow your own plants. Every plant that does not grow underwater can be planted and harvested. All you need is level 18, the talent “Landmann”, and a few ingredients.
This article was first published on April 24, 2018, and was updated on May 6, 2019, with new information.
From Outcast to Farmer
When you reach level 18, you can find the talent “Landmann” in the “Survival” tab in your talents. Landmann only costs one talent point and requires no prior knowledge, so you can freely become a farmer.
With this talent, you will learn the two recipes “Simple Plant Trough” and “Compost Heap”. Both can be easily crafted and do not require any workbenches – everything works from the inventory and without advanced resources.
Later upgrade levels allow you to build regular plant troughs and improved plant troughs with larger volumes.
Basically, you have everything you need to set up your own garden and supply your clan – or yourself – with plants. All you need are the seeds of the plants you want to grow and compost. You can often find the seeds among the plants themselves – compost is a bit more complicated.
Compost is an excellent recipe that allows you to get rid of two items that have clogged many chests: spoiled meat and bones. However, making compost requires many resources and time.
To obtain one unit of compost, you need to put the following items into the compost heap:
4 x Bone Meal
5 x Plant Fibers
2 x Spoiled Meat
4 minutes per unit
With the compost obtained, you can fertilize a plant seed in the plant troughs and promote its growth. Just place the seeds together with the compost in the trough and wait. However, for higher-tier plants like the yellow lotus, you need effective compost:
2 x Compost
2 x Blood
2 x Raw Ash
4 minutes per unit
You obtain blood from humans or from the brothel of Derketo, raw ash from obsidian deposits in volcanic areas. Therefore, growing rarer plants is reserved for higher-level characters.
This is what the obsidian deposits look like from which you can obtain raw ash.
How to Make Compost Even Easier
Since the new feature for capturing and taming animals, it is even easier to make compost in Conan Exiles.
What do I need for this? Basically, a simple enclosure with a single animal in it is enough. This will produce manure over time with the right feeding.
You can find out what food the animal needs in its inventory. As long as it is in the enclosure and has something to eat, it will produce the resource. The more animals are in the enclosure, the more manure there will be. You can then use this to produce compost in the compost heap:
For regular compost:
5 x Plant Fibers
10 x Manure
For effective compost:
2 x Compost
10 x Manure
2 x Raw Ash
What You Need Elsewhere
In addition to the agricultural structures, you need a millstone. You can either have a friend build it for you or learn the recipe yourself:
Millstone
Available from level 17 in the “Survival” tab
Costs 4 talent points
Construction: 50 stones and 10 branches, from the inventory
You need the millstone to make bone meal. You obtain this by putting bones, teeth, tusks, or horns into the millstone. So go hunting, slay animals, and butcher them with the pickaxe or axe – this will yield you meat (which you must let spoil) and bones.
Special Tip: Chitin can also be ground into bone dust! If you find spiders or scorpions, just use a skinning knife on their corpses. This way, you can quickly obtain a lot of chitin for bone meal!
With these recipes, you now have everything you need to establish your own plant farm!
For the GO Fest of Pokémon GO in Dortmund, an image has finally been released. We show you all Pokémon and explain what they could mean.
This is the image: Last week Niantic showed an image that displays the regional Pokémon for the GO Fest in Dortmund. Next to this Pokémon, there are also many other monsters visible that can be caught in Dortmund.
All about the image for the GO Fest in Dortmund
This is what the image shows: As with other GO Fests, there is also a huge collage here in which Pokémon are hiding everywhere. Some Pokémon could also be interesting for players outside the GO Fest.
This is important: So far, this is only speculation from fans or experiences from last summer. Therefore, not everything has to happen exactly as written here.
Schilterus
What does the Pokémon indicate? Schilterus is a rare Pokémon from the 4th generation. It is therefore quite possible that this monster will appear more frequently in Dortmund, allowing many players to complete their PokéDex.
Here stands Schilterus on a rock
In Chicago, Hippopotas will be catchable. This could also be rare during the release in the wild. Therefore, Schilterus could be the counterpart in Dortmund to Hippopotas.
Seeper
What does the Pokémon indicate? Seeper was already present in the announcement image for Chicago. It also plays a role in Dortmund. However, what exactly this role is, remains unclear.
Several Seeper playing in the fountain – Will this Pokémon be available as Shiny soon?
Many players hope for the release of the Shiny form of Seeper here. Otherwise, the Water-type Pokémon doesn’t really have any utility.
Seeper could possibly also be catchable everywhere in the world as Shiny during the GO Fest. This could be part of the global challenge that Niantic has announced.
Milotic
What does the Pokémon indicate? Milotic can usually only be obtained through evolution. Maybe the Pokémon only indicates that in Dortmund, the pre-evolution Barschwa can be caught more frequently.
Milotic is also there – As part of the special research?
However, some players hope for a special research in which Milotic plays a role. Perhaps Milotic could be an encounter in the research. For example, during the GO Fest 2018 in Chicago, players encountered a Metagross there. So, this time, a Milotic could appear.
Icognito
What does the Pokémon indicate? Icognito has always been a staple of a GO Fest or a Safari Zone. In Dortmund, there will likely be some letters from Icognito as well.
Icognito will also be present at the GO Fest
In the image, you can see the letter W. Therefore, players hope that all the letters from the word “Westfalenpark” will spawn on-site. The GO Fest takes place in Westfalenpark.
Venuflibis
What does the Pokémon indicate? Venuflibis will likely be the regional Pokémon of the Safari Zone. The Pokémon can otherwise only be found in the southeastern USA.
The regional Pokémon of the GO Fest – Venuflibis
Each GO Fest has its own regional Pokémon. In Chicago, it will be Pachirisu. Last year, in Chicago, the regional Pokémon Qurtel could be caught. Dortmund had Corasonn for its Safari Zone.
Panflam
What does the Pokémon indicate? While the image from Chicago shows a Chelast, here we now see Panflam. It is possible that all starters of the 4th generation will spawn more frequently in this event series.
The starter Panflam will be part of the GO Fest
Panflam may also be associated with the special habitats available at the GO Fest. Thus, there could be a fire habitat where Panflam can be found particularly often.
Meditalis
What does the Pokémon indicate? The Fighting and Psychic-type Pokémon could only be found in special events in the wild until now. Otherwise, it could only be evolved from Meditie.
Meditalis will be found at the GO Fest – Its Shiny form is already in the game
Perhaps Meditalis, like Milotic, is also part of the special research. It may also only indicate the increased spawn of Meditie, which can be Shiny.
Nidoran (male)
What does the Pokémon indicate? So far, only the female form of Nidoran can be found as Shiny. Perhaps at the GO Fest in Dortmund, the male form can also be found as Shiny for the first time.
The male form of Nidoran hides in the bush
If it cannot be found as Shiny, the spawn of Nidoran does not really make much sense, as its evolution is not really useful in battle. It is also not rare.
What do you think of the Pokémon in the image? Are you excited about the GO Fest?
Tickets for the GO Fest in Dortmund will be available soon. We will tell you how to get them:
In GTA Online, the time trial “Coast to Coast” is active. You practically just follow a road and earn 102,000 GTA dollars for it. This is how you quickly make a lot of money. We show you how to do it in the guide.
How do you earn the money? You must complete the time trial in GTA Online within the given time. The time trial is not a game mode but is accessible to everyone on the public map. So even for solo players who don’t want to compete with racing drivers.
If you make it to the finish line on time, you’ll get 102,000 GTA dollars. But you have to drive carefully and ideally avoid any accidents. The time is tight.
Which time trial is active? Until Thursday, you can participate in the time trial Coast to Coast. You have a given time of 2:29.4 minutes. The races vary each week.
How to win the time trial “Coast to Coast” in GTA Online
The route: At first glance, this time trial seems to be one of the easier tasks. For the most part, you follow the same road. Only just before the finish does it get a bit tricky. In the following map, you can see the route you take for the race.
With this easily memorable route, you will quickly reach the finish
This is how the drive goes: At the destination, you do not start as suggested toward the mountain, but go down to the main road. In the first curves, you ease off a bit, as the oncoming traffic is hard to see due to the slope. From the first bridge onwards, you can then press the gas pedal all the way down.
Then you speed along the route. About at the height of the exclamation mark, you will exit a tunnel. If you like, you can switch to the opposite lane at the first opportunity. This will make it easier to turn from the main road onto the side road.
Here you can easily change lanes – the guardrails have been removed
Then, as shown on the map, turn onto the side road. Follow this and turn left again at the end.
Here it goes onto the side road
Now you are on the way to the finish.
Just before the finish is a small forest that you don’t need to drive around. Just head straight towards the finish.
Shorten your way here to reach the finish faster
Video guide: In the video from GTA-Series, you can see the route that you need to drive in the Coast to Coast race.

Can you repeat the race? You can drive the race as often as you want. There are unlimited attempts to grab the reward of 52,000 dollars. But that can only be done once. After that, there are only consolation prizes of 1,000 dollars to 2,000 dollars.
Which car should you use? As always, we advise you to take the fastest car from your garage that you can drive safely.
The battles in Mordhau can be quite nerve-wracking. It is important to enter the battle with a cool head and the right strategies. We will share 5 tips to help you perform better in the new Steam hit.
Who are the tips for? We have compiled some tips for you that will help both beginners and advanced players in Mordhau. Mordhau itself was released on April 29, which is why many players are still trying to find out what suits them best.
Nevertheless, Mordhau is already enjoying immense popularity. The game can now even boast 60,000 players simultaneously. Consequently, battles can get quite crowded. We will help you keep track and emerge as a winner.
1. Don’t use swings with large weapons in big battles
In Mordhau, “Friendly Fire” is generally active. This means that your allies will also experience the effects of a strike as if they were your enemies – just with less damage under certain circumstances.
Most large weapons like longswords, two-handed swords, large axes, and spears have a very large radius when swung sideways. If allies are standing next to you, perhaps out of your line of sight, you may hit them. This results in:
your attack stopping there and not hitting the enemy.
your ally’s attack being interrupted.
your ally taking damage and possibly even dying.
the enemy getting the chance for an unblocked strike or stab.
Large weapons like those of the brigand can be deadly for allies.
If you’re fighting in a larger group, especially in the Frontline mode, use overhead attacks or thrusts, depending on which weapon you use. Blunt weapons like the quirky lutes are not suitable for thrusting.
Extra tip: If you’re a bit unsure and don’t have much combat experience, use the perk “Friendly” in your class. This reduces both dealt and received team damage by 50%.
2. Pack a dagger
One of the biggest advantages of Mordhau is that you can create your own classes. You can equip these with specific armor, weapons, and items. One of these possible weapons is the dagger.
Daggers only cost one point out of a maximum of 16 available to you and take up one weapon slot. However, they are highly useful in many situations:
Daggers are very fast and can hardly be blocked
Thrusts to the head deal a lot of damage
Thrown, they also deal a lot of damage at a distance
The main reason to carry a dagger is against opponents’ spears and rapiers. These are often used for thrusting and cause problems for enemies, especially in conjunction with shields. Daggers can easily riposte these thrusts and land a quick counterattack that effectively counters these unwanted weapons.
The properties of a dagger
3. Use bandages or bloodlust
If you receive a blow in Mordhau, the damage taken remains for the most part. You mainly regenerate health points by killing enemies in close combat.
However, this is not always easy, especially if you are low on health and need to fight multiple opponents. Therefore, we recommend packing bandages (1 point, weapon slot) or the perk “Bloodlust” (5 points) in the class creation.
Bandages heal you by 50 health points when used, 2 charges, refillable at ammo crates
“Bloodlust” fully heals you after each kill in close combat
This tip is especially suitable for deathmatches where you often face a series of opponents one after the other. Here, “Bloodlust” is particularly effective.
4. Use medical kits
A tip that seems obvious is often overlooked. Medical kits are items that you can use in one of your weapon slots for 2 points. You throw the kits on the ground in battle so that teammates can heal.
The kits then lie there and can be used like supply crates or other usable items. Healing players need to stand still for a moment. They heal you completely. Keep in mind that:
you are protected while you heal
you place a medical kit in a location that is as protected as possible
the kit is only available for a limited time
It’s advisable to have at least one or two players with medical kits on hand in team fights so that you can last longer.
Medical kits are easy to overlook
5. Track the objectives
This tip only applies to the Frontline mode. In Frontline, you need to capture multiple points and then complete objectives to progress further – or reduce the enemy’s “tickets” to 0 through kills and time.
Many players forget that completing the objectives can lead to faster success. Particularly capturing points is important because it prevents subsequent points from being captured by enemies or their objectives from being completed.
Therefore, always try to keep an eye on what your current objective is:
complete the objective or capture the next point as a group
leave only a few people for defense
try to be quick
It’s easy to get distracted by a bunch of enemies, causing you to stand still and not progress, only fighting. Therefore, try to stay with your team and advance together.
The MMORPG Atlas is getting another mega-update this month. This time the developers want to focus on content. Xbox fans should also be excited.
What does the mega-update in May bring? Those who want more content for Atlas will be fully satisfied this month.
You will fire torpedoes at other ships.
It is possible to attach storage crates to the ship.
With fishing nets, you can catch more fish.
You can stop fleeing ships with a harpoon launcher.
The “Spear Cannon” works like a harpoon – even underwater.
The Olfends and Giant Tortugars are introduced as new creatures.
You will explore a gigantic ice dungeon.
There are plenty of adjustments to the UI, balancing, and more.
Giant Tortugars are new monsters in the MMORPG Atlas.
Finally, more content!
Why is this update so interesting? Players of Atlas want more content. Also to see in which direction the MMORPG is developing. Now this wish is fulfilled. With the new content, players have more to do.
The ice dungeon promises to be very interesting, as there is even a small, mysterious story surrounding a dangerous beast.
What else have the developers revealed? In the coming months, there is an interesting announcement for all Xbox players. This suggests that Atlas will also be released on Xbox One.
What comes after the May update? The team behind Atlas has released a small teaser. June will bring a single-server map called Blackwood.
The special thing about the map is that you can host it yourself as a stand-alone map without needing access to the large database.
Blackwood is a dangerous jungle area full of caves, rare plants, and malevolent monsters.
However, the ratings on Steam are stagnating. Before the big April update, they were at 34% “Mostly Negative” and are still that way now. The reason for this are the balancing problems and ongoing technical issues. In addition, there are still complaints about cheaters.
However, Atlas is still an early access title. It is not a “finished” game, but a project in an early stage of development.
On the PTR of World of Warcraft, Nazjatar is playable. We will show you what rewards you can snag there.
Currently, the Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara is being tested on the public test server. More and more features and content are being added to the patch. Nazjatar is also largely implemented and can be played. The new currency there is “Prismatic Mana Pearls,” which you can use to purchase many rewards. We will reveal what rewards will be available.
Enhancements for gear: For many players, upgrading the Benthonic gear will likely be the most important. This is primarily done through badges that can be purchased with Mana Pearls. The gear starts at item level 385 and can then be upgraded with the following items:
Azsharite Pearl Set: Upgrades a Benthonic item to item level 400. Costs 20 Mana Pearls.
Azsharite Pearl Upgrade: Increases the item level of a Benthonic item (minimum item level 400) by 5 item levels, up to a maximum of 430. Costs 10 Mana Pearls.
Azsharite Azerite Pearl Upgrade: Increases the item level of a Benthonic item (minimum item level 400) by 15 item levels, up to a maximum of 430. Costs 30 Mana Pearls.
New mounts and pets: The two factions, Ankoan (Alliance) and Unshackled (Horde), each have a mount available. However, it costs a hefty 250 Mana Pearls, which will require a lot of farming.
The Ankoans offer the Ankoan Wave Ray:

The Unshackled, on the other hand, offer the Unshackled Wave Ray:

Both factions, however, have this pet available for 40 Mana Pearls, the Mother of Pearl Shell:

New essences for the Heart of Azeroth: Additionally, you can exchange Mana Pearls for new essences for the Heart of Azeroth. This is a new feature that allows you to equip additional abilities to your necklace.
Memory of the Clear Dream: All versions of this essence are available for purchase. For 5 (uncommon), 25 (rare), 50 (epic), and 75 (legendary) Mana Pearls.
The Unrestrained Power: The uncommon (10 Mana Pearls) and rare (25 Mana Pearls) versions of this essence are available for purchase.
Aegis of the Depths: The uncommon (10 Mana Pearls) and rare (25 Mana Pearls) versions of this essence are available for purchase.
The Ankoan ally with the Alliance. Their vendors have good stuff!
What are Prismatic Mana Pearls? The Prismatic Mana Pearls are the new currency of Nazjatar. You can obtain them through world quests, by defeating rare enemies, or from treasure chests in the area. Those who want to collect a lot of Mana Pearls will have to spend a lot of time in Nazjatar and likely complete a few world quests or go treasure hunting every day.
These are just the rewards from the two reputation factions in Nazjatar. There are many other rewards from rare enemies, quests, and secrets.
Nazjatar is surrounded by a wall of water. Many secrets can be found in the depths …
When does Patch 8.2 come out? There is still no exact release date for Patch 8.2, and Blizzard has not yet commented on it. However, the most likely estimates are the end of May or early June. This would correspond to the previous rhythm of patches for World of Warcraft.
Are you already looking forward to Patch 8.2? Or have you finished with World of Warcraft and are waiting for Classic instead? If so, you might find this interesting:
The Fortnite pro XXiF was caught cheating red-handed. He and his friends who helped him have been punished. However, other pros say that this is not enough. What do you think?
This is what XXiF did: During the week 3 qualifiers of the Fortnite World Championship , player XXiF drew attention in the community. He is accused of teaming up with other players during matches. They then intentionally let themselves be eliminated by him so that XXiF would earn enough points to qualify for the World Championship.
What other pros criticize: As DotEsports reports, many other pros consider the severity of the penalty too low. They say that the player and his friends can simply participate in other qualifiers once the 14 days are over.
Others say that so much money is at stake that a mere 14-day ban is insufficient. The prize pool for the finals of the World Championship stands at 30 million dollars. Each qualified participant receives at least 50,000 dollars, and the winner even 3 million dollars.
Fortnite pro Dennis “Cloak” Lepore writes on Twitter: “Cheating for 30 million dollars. 2 weeks ban. Seriously, folks.”

In response, other Twitter users express a desire for a permanent ban for all competitive tournaments.
A similar sentiment is shared by player Dakotaz. He writes: “So you can cheat for millions and only get a 14-day ban?” He wishes that XXiF would at least be banned for the remainder of this World Championship.
This is the problem players see: Once the 14 days are over, the accused players can participate in qualifiers for the current World Championship again and fight for their spot back. Many players find this unfair.
Still in May, the first raid for 8 players will come to The Division 2. With these tips, you can prepare for it.
What to expect in the raid: So far, there is little official information on how the raid will unfold. According to the developers, it will be the greatest challenge for players.
But what can you do to prepare for this potentially challenging raid? Here are a few options.
Create builds for every situation
Here’s why you should prepare multiple builds: As mentioned above, the raid will likely be extensive and offer many different mission sections with varying requirements.
No one currently knows what to expect. Therefore, for ambitious players who want to start immediately, it can only be useful to have multiple builds ready.
With the brand sets, there is a great variety of possible combinations. So go wild! Perhaps an interesting build for the raid can be created with the gear sets that are currently under criticism?
However, keep in mind that Title Update 3, which also includes the raid, makes several changes to weapon and gear talents. Some talents will be revised, but the current gear sets will also be slightly improved. So keep this in mind for your builds.
But even if the update doesn’t appear in the same form as on the PTS, good set pieces with strong stats are just as important as the talents.
How do I best farm gear? There are many different ways to obtain loot. You can play missions, complete strongholds, or capture checkpoints.
Also, check out these five routes in the game world where you can get a lot of loot and materials:
Here’s why you should develop specializations: In the raid, you will have a total of eight players on your team. Each will therefore have a specialization.
Moreover, it is possible to start the raid via the matchmaking feature. With a fixed team, you will likely already have some distribution concerning who plays which specialization. But what about possible random players?
If everyone has developed all three possible specializations, you can freely adapt to the group. And who knows, perhaps there will be a situation in the raid where it will be particularly helpful to have eight grenade launchers ready.
