The development studio Duoyi and publisher 101XP are currently working on a new MMORPG called Eternal Magic. This game features a unique aspect: female players can participate in a beauty contest to have a monument erected in their honor. Apparently, the online role-playing game aims to appeal primarily to women.
What is Eternal Magic? Essentially, Eternal Magic is a classic MMORPG.
- You create a hero from five classes
- You can customize each class with skills to match your playstyle. By combining skills, you also create a personal combat style
- You explore a vast game world
- There are challenging dungeons that can only be mastered in a group
- In terms of PvP, you participate in guild wars and large battles for up to 80 players, as well as even a MOBA mode within the MMORPG
- You fight your enemies in action-packed confrontations where combos play an important role
- Through a housing system, you set up your own home in the game
- Pets support you and can even be upgraded
So far, Eternal Magic sounds like a typical online role-playing game.
WoW shrinks the mounts of Tauren and Gnomes in the next patch
A new version of Patch 8.2 on the servers of World of Warcraft is causing discontent. The mounts of gnomes and taurens are getting smaller – intentionally.
Last night, a new version of the Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara was deployed to the test servers of World of Warcraft. Right from the download, Blizzard warned the players of taurens and gnomes: many of their mounts are now smaller, and this is entirely intentional.
Why are the mounts getting smaller? Many mounts for taurens and gnomes have caused problems. Taurens could not ride through many doors and similar tight spots, while other races could. Gnomes, on the other hand, looked simply unfit in size on many mounts, so they couldn’t even reach the reins of the respective mount.

Particularly at the reins, the change in size can be clearly seen in the example.
More adjustments for other races to come: According to Blizzard, this is just the beginning. A new technology now allows developers to individually adjust the sizes of mounts for each race. There are some mounts that are too small for certain races. This is set to be addressed in the future.
Players divided over the reduction: Reactions to the changes are mixed. Some players are pleased with these “Quality of Life” improvements. The fact that gnomes finally fit properly on their mounts is well received. However, criticism comes from tauren players. Some players say that they would particularly enjoy playing taurens because their mounts are so enormous.
With Patch 8.2, more changes to the mounts are to follow.

Fortnite: Leak for Challenges from Week 3 in Season 9 shows tricks with Driftboard
The challenges of Week 3 in Season 9 in Fortnite have been leaked. We will show you what tasks the dataminers found.
What is it about? Today, on May 23, 2019, Week 3 in Season 9 of Fortnite begins. As in every week of a season, 7 new tasks are available for you to complete. By doing so, you level up in the Battle Pass and unlock cosmetic items.
Dataminers took a close look at the code after the Fortnite update 9.10 on May 22 and found out what tasks will likely be unlocked today.
We will show you which challenges have been leaked. However, keep in mind that these tasks have not yet been officially confirmed. The task requirements may change before the release this afternoon.

Available for free and without a Battle Pass:
- Stage 1: Land a trick with a driftboard – Stage 2: Achieve 3 seconds of airtime with the quadcrasher – Stage 3: Destroy 3 enemy structures with a vehicle
- Search 7 chests at Lonely Lodge or Polar Peak
- Deal 200 damage to opponents within 10 seconds after using a wind tunnel

How trustworthy is the leak? As FortniteInsider reports, the leaked challenges come from dataminer @firemonkeyFN. This individual has previously correctly predicted challenges. Unless Epic Games changes something in the code at the last minute, the leak should be accurate.

Sony confirms: PS5 can play with PS4 – What does that mean?
Sony has confirmed cross-generation gameplay between the PS4 and the upcoming next-gen PlayStation. We explain how it works and what it means for players.
Where does the information come from? More and more official details about the upcoming PlayStation generation from Sony are being revealed. At Sony’s recent Investors Relation Day 2019, where some top Sony officials answered questions about the future of PlayStation, another feature of the upcoming Sony console was confirmed.
This is the feature in question: The PS5 (no official name) will offer cross-generation gameplay. This means that players on the next-gen PlayStation and players on the current console generation, namely the PS4 and PS4 Pro, can play older games together or against each other.
How does it work? This possibility arises from the backwards compatibility of the PS5. This means that owners of the new console will not only be able to enjoy their favorite titles from the PS4 era on the new hardware. They can also continue to experience these games in multiplayer with or against players on the PS4.
Sony itself is confident about the success of this feature. They consider it an important key factor for the success of the upcoming PlayStation console. It is very important for the cohesion of the community.
What does this mean for players? For players, this feature essentially brings only advantages – regardless of whether on the new or (then) old console generation.
If you switch from the PS4 to the new console, you will still be able to play your favorite online games with your buddies – even if they don’t upgrade and stay with their PS4.

Amazon supposedly turns boring warehouse work into a grind MMO
To motivate its employees to perform better, the corporation Amazon uses a new trick. The employees are casually playing a video game, in which they work. The gamification of work resembles an MMO with a lot of grind. This is reported by the Washington Post.
The giant corporation Amazon has been repeatedly criticized in recent months and years for poor working conditions for employees. Now there was an article in the Washington Post about “gamification” at Amazon – how daily work can be enhanced by progressing in a kind of video game. But is this really good and helpful?
This is how the “games” work: Essentially, employees do their tasks as usual. They package parcels to be shipped. Depending on how effective they are at work (for example, the packages processed per hour), this is registered by the game and converted into points. Depending on performance, there are different medals or achievements.
Employees can compete against each other: The games are designed so that employees can “play” against each other or departments. By the way, there is no mandatory participation in these games. Those who do not want to participate do not have to.
Many points bring bonuses: Those who work particularly effectively and can thus score many points can actually receive some bonuses. For example, one can exchange the points earned for merchandise, providing a real incentive to increase performance.
Screenshots or other proof from the games are not available. Amazon publishes nothing on this, and employees are not allowed to film or photograph at the workplace.
There are concerns and worries: However, not everything about this solution is good, and there are numerous concerns. It has been noted that employees quickly become demotivated and frustrated when they repeatedly hear about being the losers of these games.
These games could also be a way for Amazon to secretly increase the required performance. If, for example, currently 200 packages per hour earn a gold medal, the company executives could slowly raise this to 250 or even 300.
Whether the “gamification” at Amazon is a curse, a blessing, or something in between will probably only become clear in the coming months. An improvement in working conditions would be desirable in any case.

WoW: This is how the new companions work in Patch 8.2
With Patch 8.2 of World of Warcraft, there are new companions for all players that can even fight alongside you. However, you have to level them up and improve them in a cumbersome manner.
With the upcoming Patch 8.2 Azshara’s Rise, there are many new features in World of Warcraft. One of them you will encounter in Nazjatar, the “main zone” of the next update.
In the course of the story, players will encounter different factions (depending on the faction) and ally with them. This unlocks a new companion or “bodyguard” system.
What are the Bodyguards? Bodyguards accompany the player in Nazjatar and actively help in battles. They come with their own abilities and have their own leveling system.
Only those who level up their bodyguards accordingly can harness the full potential of these characters. They should generally simplify and make questing in Nazjatar significantly more comfortable.
How to level up the companions: The bodyguards primarily gain experience by accompanying you on adventures in Nazjatar. They receive experience points when you complete world quests or daily missions.
Of the three companions per faction, only the companion you have currently selected gains experience points.
However, there are also items (tomes) that, when used, grant a large amount of experience points to all of the player’s bodyguards.
Companions unlock abilities: As companions level up (also referred to as “ranks”), they gradually unlock new abilities that assist you in combat. Companions start with one ability that they use regularly and then acquire new abilities in subsequent tiers.
- Level 3: Unlocks a second ability.
- Level 6: Improves the first ability.
- Level 10: Improves the second ability.
- Level 15: Unlocks the third ability. This is usually a particularly strong “ultimate”, such as a long control effect or even a passive buff for the player (more damage on critical hits).
Each companion has unique abilities. However, these are not fully available on the PTR yet.

Dauntless: How to play with friends and start a hunt
The Monster Hunter MMO Dauntless has officially been released. Now some players are wondering how they can actually go hunting with their friends against the huge Behemoths. We will show you how it works.
Who can I play with? Dauntless has been playable on PC, PS4, and Xbox One since May 21, 2019. On each of these platforms, you can play together with friends – even with crossplay. It is supposed to work that you can play with any friend, regardless of the platform.
Invite friends to a hunting party – here’s how
If you want to hunt together with friends, you just need to follow a few simple steps. First, you need to access the social menu. To do this, you have to press different buttons:
- O on PC (with standard settings)
- the touchpad on PS4
- the “View” button on Xbox One
In the now appearing menu, you will see different things. On PC, your Epic friends list will appear, as Dauntless is available for PC through the Epic Store. On PS4 and Xbox One, you should be able to see both your Epic friends and friends on the corresponding console.
Once you have selected the player you want to play with, you just need to invite them to the group using the “Invite to Group” option.
What you should pay attention to: It may happen that your friends do not appear in Ramsgate right away. But that’s normal and doesn’t mean much. Once you start a hunt together, you should be together.
Once you have defeated the Behemoth, you should also all appear in the same city.
This is how you hunt together
Once you are in a hunting party with your friends, you can also go hunting together after the huge Behemoths that represent your opponents in Dauntless. For this, the group leader or “host” of the game needs to start a hunt.
It is quite simple:
- as the group leader, go to the notice board (Hunt Board)
- select a hunt that you want to undertake
- start the hunt
Once the hunt has started, all group members should also land on the loading screen. You can then go hunting together.
A hunt in a team is particularly useful as you can familiarize yourself better with tactics and thus tackle tougher bosses. It is best to coordinate who wants to take which roles or weapons to get the most out of it:

Fortnite: This new skin is exclusively available with the new Honor 20 smartphone for 500€
Fortnite: Battle Royale is soon to have another exclusive skin for buyers of a 500-Euro smartphone.
Which smartphone is it? On May 21, the new Honor 20 smartphone was presented. Along with that, there was promptly information about a deal with Fortnite in the livestream. If you buy the new smartphone, you also get an exclusive Fortnite skin. Such deals are common in Fortnite, including various collaborations with Samsung.
What does the skin look like? The Honor skin “Honor Wonder” is a variation of the well-known Shadow Agent. This time, however, it is in green and purple chrome colors. This mimics the colors of the Honor 20, which comes in a similar metallic look.
How do you get the skin? According to the Honor livestream, you should buy the new Honor 20 to get the skin. It’s available for 499 Euros. This deal might also apply to the Honor 20 series.

MMORPG Blade & Soul hints at a new class – Here is what we know
In a teaser image, the MMORPG Blade and Soul presents a new class. Apparently, a new archer is set to arrive in June 2019 in Korea. It will take a while before the new class makes its way to the West.
What do we know about the new class? Aside from the teaser image, not much has been officially revealed about the new class. Developer NCSoft has neither provided a name nor a detailed description of the class.
However, as can be seen from the image, the class will use a bow to attack enemies. Thanks to some dataminers, we already know a bit more about the class.
Which races can play the new class? The Twitter account craig_chan reported that according to the latest datamining, only the Jin and Lyn races can play the class. The Gon and Yun will be excluded.
However, the fact that the class cannot be used by Yun saddens many fans on Reddit. This race currently has the smallest selection with only five classes, similar to the Gon. Jin already has seven classes available, while Lyn has six.
When will the new class be released? Korean players can look forward to the new class on June 12. In just under three weeks, we will learn more about the archers and their skills.
In the West, the class will likely be released in September. This was also the case for the last two classes Guardian in September 2018 and Gunner in September 2017. Both also appeared in June of the same year in Korea.
What else is happening in Blade&Soul? Players expect that along with the new class, a larger update will come in September, which will include content that is already available in Korea. This includes the new specializations for Blade Master and Kung Fu Master.

League of Legends on the Smartphone? Mobile version of LoL supposedly in development
According to rumors, a mobile version of League of Legends is currently in development. It is likely being developed by Tencent and Riot Games. We will show you what is known so far about Mobile LoL for iOS and Android.
Where does the information come from? According to a report from the news agency Reuters , the Chinese publisher Tencent is working together with LoL developer Riot Games on the new game. This information was provided by Reuters from three insider sources who are apparently familiar with the topic.
It is said that Tencent has been working with Riot’s developers on this mobile version for over a year.
Mobile LoL: Release not before 2020?
When is LoL-Mobile expected to be released? That is still unclear. One of the sources mentioned that a release in 2019 would be unlikely. So players will have to wait a bit longer.
There has been no official confirmation yet. Neither Riot Games nor Tencent have commented on the new rumors so far.
Why a LoL-Mobile is interesting
League of Legends is one of the most popular games available on PC. Therefore, it would be a logical step to extend this popularity to other platforms.
This is why there has been no mobile version of LoL so far: Reports indicate that Tencent approached Riot several years ago and asked if they would like to create a mobile version of LoL.
However, Riot apparently declined and stated that they could not transfer the LoL experience to mobile devices.
Subsequently, Tencent developed its own mobile MOBA. It is called Arena of Valor (in China “Honor of Kings”) and is extremely successful.
Perhaps Riot saw the success of Arena of Valor and realized that there is a great demand for MOBA games on mobile devices.

Battlefield Studio shows how beautiful Frostbite can render hair – but the video is creepy
A new video showcases the next-gen graphics of the Frostbite engine. However, the video can be somewhat disturbing.
What was shown? DICE, the studio behind games like Battlefield 5 and Star Wars Battlefront 2, has released a new video about the Frostbite engine.
The video features a character walking down a long corridor. The hair sways with every step. In other scenes, changing lighting conditions are shown that the hair reacts to, as well as various hair colors, all of which are animated very realistically.
Then comes the somewhat creepy “plot twist”: The camera moves slightly around the model, which also turns at that moment. It becomes clear that it is a faceless mannequin, a figure.
What is the video for? The video is intended to showcase the studio’s research on various topics, here focusing on hair rendering and simulation. The developers want to push the limits of what current hardware can still extract.
For example, a natural color change of the hair can be simulated through hair melanin and its smoothness, and the behavior of different hair volumes can be represented.
While the studio states that they are testing the current hardware, the new system could potentially be used on next-gen consoles.
What do we know about next-gen? While Sony has already revealed some details about the next PlayStation, Microsoft remains silent about the next Xbox. According to rumors, the upcoming Xbox is being developed under the codename “Scarlett”.
Sony recently showcased a video that compares the loading times of the next PS5 with those of the current PS4.

World War Z sold 2 million copies, but no one hears anything about it
The new zombie survival shooter World War Z has sold nearly 2 million copies just over a month after release. However, it has been relatively quiet about the game.
What is World War Z? World War Z is a zombie shooter in the style of Left4Dead, based on the 2013 film of the same name. In a team of 4 players, you move through various levels, fighting against huge hordes of zombies and can play cooperatively or alone with bots.
How is World War Z doing?
These are the sales figures: As DualShockers reports, World War Z sold over a million copies within the first week after its release on April 16, 2019. And this, despite the fact that the game was hardly promoted. It just appeared more or less out of nowhere.
Now, as of May 22, developers Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Home Interactive have announced that nearly 2 million copies have been sold. This includes all available platforms: PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
World War Z is well-received: Most fan reviews, which can be found on reddit for example, praise the game and its ridiculously large amounts of zombies that can be blown up, sliced apart, and shot. The gameplay seems to be a lot of fun for many.
Still, it seems the breakthrough was somewhat lacking. On Twitch, the game never really found its audience. On release day, about 135,000 viewers were watching simultaneously. Now, in the past three days, it has dropped to just under 8,000 viewers. (via Sullygnome)

- 74/100 points for PC (User Score: 5.5)
- 67/100 points for PS4 (User Score: 6.2)
- 71/100 points for Xbox One (User Score: 6.0)
This is how fans see the numbers: In a reaction on reddit, fans of the game are pleased with the figures, especially because they like the studio and hope for a good future. However, they also wonder about the relative success given the lack of advertising.
Some players, however, feel that the brand “World War Z” has harmed the game more than it has helped. The film was rather mediocre to poor, which is why some suspected that the game would also be mediocre to poor.
Additionally, World War Z is only available on PC via the controversial Epic Launcher. This is a reason for many players to avoid the game altogether.

Battle Royale in Call of Duty Mobile sounds almost better than for PC and consoles
Recently, numerous new details about the battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Mobile have become known. It seems that the mobile offshoot does not have to hide from Blackout on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Here’s what we know so far.
What is Call of Duty: Mobile? Back in March, publisher Activision announced that Call of Duty would also receive a mobile series offshoot for the western market. At that time, details were still sparse. However, it has become known that there will be a battle royale mode inspired by Blackout from Black Ops 4.
The title is now in beta, and more and more information is being revealed – including details about the associated battle royale. Additionally, Activision itself has now released some official details. Some fans feel that the mobile version does not have to hide from Blackout, as it sounds almost better in some aspects.

Choice of perspective
What many fans find cool: It will be possible to choose the perspective from which you play the match. Before a round starts, you can decide whether you want to play from the first-person view or from the third-person perspective.
Classes and vehicles
As in Blackout, there will be vehicles in Call of Duty: Mobile’s battle royale that you can use. Included are:
- ATV – a quad for two people
- A light helicopter for three people
- SUV – an armored transporter with space for four people
Furthermore, unlike the battle royale of Black Ops 4, the mobile offshoot will have six different classes with their own abilities and skills. Before the match, you can choose between:
- Defender: Can deploy a formable shield, resistance to all types of damage except bullets is increased
- Mechanic: Has an EMP drone and can detect enemy vehicles, traps, and other equipment better
- Scout: Has a sensor arrow that reveals enemies in the surrounding area on the map. Additionally, he can see the fresh footprints of enemies
- Clown: Has a special bomb that spawns zombies. These will only attack nearby enemies. Additionally, this class reduces the distance for zombie aggro
- Medic: Has a healing station that heals him and nearby allies. Furthermore, the medic can heal faster and resurrect fallen allies more quickly
- Ninja: Has a grappling hook that allows him to swing to buildings and elevated positions. His footsteps, by the way, are silent.
These roles for the battle royale are also seen by some fans as a cool addition.
Gameplay and mechanics
The game runs in a classic battle royale manner, following similar rules as Blackout.
Before each match, you can manage numerous elements of your loadout in a special menu – including options like class choice, player or vehicle skins, weapon camos, and other cosmetics.
You jump out of a transport plane, look for weapons and equipment (like weapon attachments), and fight to survive in an ever-shrinking circle.
By the way, it will be possible to revive your teammates by collecting dog tags, allowing them to jump back into the fight from the airplane.
Additionally, there will be supply drops from the air that can provide you with powerful loot. Special markers will indicate locations with crates that you can use to enhance your skills. To unlock the most powerful of them, you will need to complete certain tasks first.
Comfortable controls
The controls have been specially adapted for mobile devices. For example, doors will automatically open for you, and you can intuitively jump through windows, use ladders, or manage your backpack. The game automatically collects the best equipment for you, but you can still easily grab any other desired item yourself.

After the Artifact flop, Valve needs a new Steam hit, brings Dota 2 Auto Chess
In November 2018, Valve released the card game Artifact. However, this game turned out to be a flop. Now, the company behind Steam wants to do everything differently and is orienting itself towards an already successful project.
What is Valve planning? In a blog post, the software company announced yesterday evening that they are working on a standalone version of Dota 2 Auto Chess. There was already a meeting in February with the Chinese developer of the mod, Drodo Games.
Even though the talks were likely productive, they could not completely agree. Drodo Games is now intensively working on the development of a mobile version of Auto Chess, which our author Alexander Leitsch calls the perfect mobile game. However, this version runs without the Dota license.

Auto Chess has over 8.5 million subscribers on Steam
How successful is Auto Chess? Dota 2 Auto Chess is a huge success on Steam. The mod has over 8.5 million subscribers, and since March there is even a dedicated game category for it on Twitch.
Just yesterday, on May 21, this category reached the highest value for average viewers per day, with an impressive 23,187, according to Sullygnomes. At this moment, on May 22 at 2:40 PM, more than 18,000 people are watching Auto Chess on the streaming platform. It ranks at least 10th in various categories on Twitch.
Unlike Valve’s card game Artifact, which lost half of its player base after just one week, Auto Chess continues to grow positively. Even Valve writes in the blog post that they have “roughly played Auto Chess a billion times”.
Why is the mod so successful? The Auto Chess developed by the Chinese developer Drodo Games is particularly well-received due to its tactical content, ranking system, and balance among players.
Many famous Hearthstone streamers regularly check in on the game, and there have already been the first larger tournaments.
How do I get into the game? Auto Chess is relatively easy to understand at first but gains more depth over time. Then it’s about finding the right combinations, saving gold, or looking for the right figure in a more aggressive manner.

Fortnite: Fortbyte #06 – Use Emote Yay at Ice Cream Shop – Here’s how
In Fortnite: Battle Royale has the Fortbyte number 06 now released. To do this, you need to perform the emote “Yay!” at an ice cream shop. Where you can find the shop and how to get the emote, you can find out here.
Where is the Fortbyte? The 06th Fortbyte is described with the text “Accessible by using the emote ‘Yay!’ at an ice cream shop in the desert.” This raises the question of which ice cream shop it is and where the place is supposed to be.
The ice cream shop refers to the SofDeez Ice Cream Shop. You can find it in the desert biome north of Paradise Palms on the road. You recognize the building by its pink walls. The exact coordinates are I7 on the map.
This is how you can collect the Fortbyte: The Fortbyte is located behind the counter in the ice cream shop. However, it cannot be picked up; it hovers transparently in the room. The description text states that you need to perform the emote “Yay!”.
This, in turn, is available at level 14 of the Battle Pass of Season 9. So just select the emote before the Fortbyte from the ring menu and cheer in front of the Fortbyte. If you do this uninterrupted, you can then collect Fortbyte #6.
But be careful while cheering Yay that no nasty villain shoots you from behind. Fortbyte locations are notorious death traps.

What are Fortbytes and how do you collect them all? The Fortbytes are electronic puzzle pieces and a special feature of Season 9. There are a total of 100 of them. Pokémon GO: Community Day in June starts with Bummelz and these bonuses
The Community Day in June at Pokémon GO starts in just a few days and brings the Pokémon Bummelz with it. We will show you everything that is known so far.
What’s new? The developers of Pokémon GO recently announced which Pokémon will be more frequently found during the Community Day in June and can learn a special move. It is the Pokémon Bummelz. This comes as a surprise to many trainers, as early reactions show.

All Info about the Community Day in June 2019
At the same time as the represented Pokémon, Niantic also announced what bonuses trainers can look forward to.
When does the Community Day take place? The event runs on June 8 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM German time. June 8 is a Saturday this year.
What bonuses are there for the event? The distance for hatching eggs is reduced to a quarter. Additionally, the lure modules will last for 3 hours, as usual.
Shiny Bummelz: A Community Day is a new opportunity for collectors in Pokémon GO to collect Shinys. In previous events, the shiny forms were always present. The Sims 4 is free and with a WoW mod you can lead the Horde
Interested parties can currently grab the base game of “The Sims 4” for free. In the meantime, there is even a WoW mod for it.
On the Origin launcher from Electronic Arts, there are various promotions where some games are free and can be permanently credited to your account. This is also the case with Sims 4 now. The base game is available for free for a few days in the Origin store.
This is the perfect opportunity to try out some of the fun mods, such as a small expansion where you become the Warchief of the Horde.
How can one get The Sims 4 for free? You need an Origin account to log in. Then select the store and visit the page for The Sims 4. There the game is currently free and can be added to your library without any cost. You will then permanently own the game and can play it whenever you want.
Until when is the offer valid? The Sims 4 is only available for free in the Origin store until May 28. So if you want the game, you should act quickly and add the title to your library.
What kind of mod is this? In addition to the numerous DLCs, there are also many smaller mods created by the community. One of them is the “For the Horde” mod (link to download), which introduces a new career into the game. After choosing the career path, you slowly rise through the ranks. For this, you need to develop different skills (some of which require certain expansions). This way, you will go from “Scout” to “Grunt” and climb the ranks of the Horde.
Later, you can choose a career branch and either rise to become the “Warchief of the Horde” or the “Champion of Azeroth” – depending on what you would prefer to be.

The Division 2 needs to address these issues after the last update
Currently, The Division 2 is struggling. Our author Tarek has identified several issues that Massive needs to address for it to become a better game.
What’s happening in The Division 2 right now? In the past few weeks, my motivation for The Division 2 has significantly decreased. I’m visiting Washington D.C. less frequently these days. I’m not alone; many other players feel the same.
There isn’t much to do at the moment, and the game is facing some difficulties. Therefore, I want to show you issues that, in my opinion, Massive needs to fix so that The Division 2 can become a better game.
The Division 2 needs new content outside of the raid
Although The Division 2 received some improvements with Title Update 3 and also the new raid, many find it too difficult. Ubisoft has made it clear that they are closely examining feedback and are open to changes.
The raid is meant to serve as the toughest challenge for players. It’s also not uncommon in games for raids to only be completed by a smaller subset of players.
Why new content is important: However, players who are not interested in the raid have been waiting for new content since Title Update 2 on April 5. So, nothing has happened for almost two months.
Moreover, other players may not have the time or inclination to exclusively run the raid. But currently, there’s no other way to obtain new gear, such as the exotic assault rifle.
Are new contents in sight already? According to the roadmap, the next one will be the fourth specialization. This will bring a new, unique weapon and a new skill tree. While this would be a start, will it be enough?
Hardcore players can of course use that time to optimize their builds. But that leads us to the next problem.
We need a greater build diversity
While you can technically play and experiment as a tank or with skill builds in The Division 2, these playstyles are currently rather inefficient.
The meta is clearly geared towards pure DPS builds that deal the highest possible damage. To build halfway usable skill and tank builds, one has to invest quite a lot and be lucky with the gear.
Overall, it’s much easier to choose the offensive path. Consequently, there is currently almost no build diversity.
While Massive has already tried to make players “tankier” and introduced new mods that improve skills, these changes are by no means sufficient.
How could we solve the problem? Massive should rethink the functionalities of skill mods. One popular suggestion among players is to scale the skill mods with skill power. That would be a first step towards significantly improving skill builds.
But how can we strengthen tanks? If Massive strengthens armor and hit points too much, the issues from the first game will return. There, PvP battles turned into face-to-face encounters, where players took a long time to take each other down.
Therefore, in my opinion, it would be better to focus on enhancing defensive talents and skills. Instead of simply being able to take more damage, there should be ways to block it.
Additionally, the specializations should be improved and have a greater impact on the various builds.
Make crafting useful again
At the moment, crafting is hardly worth it. Manufactured high-end equipment cannot be calibrated and cannot even reach the maximum gear score of 500.
At World Tier 5 and the highest workbench level, high-end equipment can be crafted to a maximum of 490. Gear set pieces can reach 500 with some luck, but also cannot be calibrated.
How could we solve the problem? First, equipment at the highest workbench level should be able to be crafted within a range of 490-500.
Additionally, crafted equipment should also be able to be recalibrated. Because without the chance of recalibration, one is even more dependent on luck when crafting.
With so many different talents and stats that equipment can have in The Division 2, it is a pretty expensive affair that consumes a lot of collected materials.
Save the Dark Zones and PvP
I haven’t been in one of the Dark Zones for weeks, and it’s been even longer since I played Conflict. Currently, both areas are simply not very motivating to play.
- You always encounter the same DPS sets, which brings us back to the issue of build diversity.
- The rewards in Conflict are very low for the time invested.
- There’s currently no reason to farm in the Dark Zone since the new gear sets and the exotic assault rifle can only be obtained in the raid.
So why play PvP or enter the Dark Zone when it’s currently not fun and doesn’t pay off?
How could we solve the problem? Many fans have been calling for alternative, pure PvE Dark Zones for years. These would be for players who don’t want to engage in PvP.
However, in my opinion, this would ultimately make the normal Dark Zones pure PvP areas, rendering them almost unnecessary.
I think rather that if the grind becomes worthwhile again, more people would be willing to venture into the Dark Zone. A new objective would motivate players to take the risk.
PvP is generally a difficult topic. With the last update, Massive has already made some changes and slightly increased the TTK (time to kill).
I still don’t have a comprehensive impression of the changes, but if they manage to optimize PvP balancing and normalization (equipment adjustment for players), things could improve here as well in the future.

Destiny 2: What the top weapon Perfected Outbreak can do as a masterpiece
This week, it is now possible to fully level the exotic catalyst for the Perfected Exile in Destiny 2 for the first time. What can the masterwork version of this weapon do in practice?
The first diligent Guardians have been able to finally complete their catalyst for the Perfected Exile since the Weekly Reset on May 21 and are now experiencing the full potential of this new top weapon. Perfected Exile as a Masterwork – What You Need to Know
The Perfected Exile was introduced just a few weeks ago, but it has quickly proven to be one of the best weapons in PvE – even without a catalyst. It can pulverize almost any boss in no time in a group and is also a good choice against enemy hordes.
The catalyst is supposed to make the weapon even more powerful. Many Guardians were curious about what the weapon could do in its perfected form. First experiences are already coming in.

This is what the Exile can do: The exotic pulse rifle has a fire rate of 450 and is carried in the kinetic slot.
Through its perks, kills by critical hits and rapid successive hits generate swarms of seeking SIVA nanites. These infest the enemies, damage them, and make them more vulnerable to further fire from the Exile. Additionally, this weapon deals more damage to enemies based on the number of SIVA nanites attached to them.
The cool part: If multiple players have equipped the weapon, all bearers of the weapon benefit from the buff effect of other Exile users. This allows for extreme damage values for a primary weapon.

This is what the catalyst does: The catalyst makes the Perfected Exile even more powerful. In the masterwork version, the SIVA nanite swarms deal more damage. Additionally, enemies that still have nanites attached when they die generate further nanites. But what does this mean in practice?
This is how the catalyst affects PvE: In PvE, the masterwork version is significantly noticeable.
If you play against groups of smaller enemies, you can now noticeably eliminate them faster and more effectively. On the one hand, the nanites themselves now deal nearly 30% more damage, causing many smaller enemies to perish more quickly. On the other hand, precision kills now spawn 12 instead of 9 nanites, which further enhances this effect against larger groups of enemies.
Even against majors, that is, high-ranking enemies with yellow health bars, a difference is noticeable. For example, a single player with the masterwork version needs over a second less for an Ogre major than without the catalyst (14.04 instead of 15.13 seconds). If you’re in a group and benefit from each other’s nanite buffs, it goes even faster.
The weapon thus deals even more damage as a masterwork and can take down bosses and majors even faster – especially in a group. This should further strengthen its position as one of the currently best weapons in Destiny 2.
This is how the masterwork version plays in PvP: The weapon is also popular among many guardians in the Crucible – especially on consoles. Many describe the weapon’s handling as excellent. With a controller, it is said to be one of the most precise pulse rifles in Destiny 2.
The catalyst does not make this weapon overpowered in 1v1, as some players feared. It much more represents a kind of cherry on top, allowing the weapon to shine a bit more in certain situations – especially against multiple enemies standing close together.
On the one hand, precision kills with the Exile masterwork now generate 12 instead of 9 nanites. On the other hand, the damage of the seeking nanites is also increased by 30% in PvP. If previously a single nanite dealt 10 damage (90 with 9 nanites), the damage with the catalyst is now 13 per nanite. So if you take out an enemy and their neighbor takes the full brunt of the nanites, you can take them down with just one salvo – even guardians with maximum resilience. Moreover, not all shots of the salvo need to hit.
Even in PvP, the weapon becomes better with a fully leveled catalyst – if only situationally.
