In Fortnite: Battle Royale, Fortbyte Number 88 is now in the game. To find it, you should search somewhere within the map grid square J3. We will show you the location.
Where is the Fortbyte? To find Fortbyte #88, travel far to the east of the map, in grid field J3. Almost at the cliff to the great sea. There, the Fortbyte is located near a tree.
There are a few trees standing around in an open field. Right there you will find the Byte. You do not need to fulfill any special requirements for this. Just land there or move there to collect the puzzle piece.
Get Fortbyte Number 88
This is how you collect the Fortbyte: In the following screenshot, you can see exactly in front of which tree the Byte can be found.

What are Fortbytes anyway? Since Season 9 in Fortnite, these puzzle pieces have been released gradually on the map. In the end, they form a complete artwork.
We regularly show you how and where you can collect the new Bytes, so you don’t miss any.
We have compiled an overview of all other Fortbytes for you here:
Along with Season 7, Bungie has also introduced the new pinnacle weapons that you can hunt in the Season of Opulence of Destiny 2. These are the new guns.
In less than a week, on June 4th, the new Season 7, the Season of Opulence, will begin. Part of the new content that Bungie has finally officially introduced includes new pinnacle weapons. What kind of weapons are they? And what can they do?
Update 31.05.: Bungie has released more information about the new pinnacle weapons of Season 7. We have updated the article accordingly.
These pinnacle weapons can be hunted in the Season of Opulence
As in the previous two seasons, there will be a total of three new pinnacle weapons:
one for the Crucible
one for Gambit
and one for the Vanguard
These new guns can be earned through their respective activities. However, Bungie has not yet revealed how this will work in detail.
What are pinnacle weapons anyway? These are legendary guns with special perks that are essentially the best of what the arsenal of Destiny 2 has to offer.
Their perks are sometimes almost as strong as those of exotic guns. Pinnacle weapons are also tied to lengthy, meticulous task lists that need to be mastered in various areas of Destiny 2.
The new pinnacle weapon of the Crucible – Reversal
What kind of weapon is this? The new top weapon from PvP in the Season of Opulence is a kinetic sniper rifle.
What can the weapon do? The special perk “Reversal of Fortune” causes the bullet to return to the magazine after a short time if you miss your shot.
Keep in mind that the weapon only returns one bullet. So if you fire a second shot before the first returns, only one round will come back to the magazine. However, the current duration until the bullet returns is still unknown.
In addition, the sniper features the “HINTERHALT SLH25” scope and Snapshot for closer combat.
For this rifle, you will need to earn 3,500 Glory points in the competitive playlist. Losses do not deduct points.
The new pinnacle weapon of the Vanguard – Wendigo GL3
What kind of weapon is this? You can obtain an adaptive grenade launcher with Arc damage from the Vanguard in Season 7.
What can the weapon do? Through its special perk “Explosive Light,” collected orbs of light increase the explosion radius and damage of the Wendigo GL3.
Additionally, this grenade launcher will feature flashbangs, which can prevent Fallen Captains from teleporting. You can carry up to 6 grenades that are enhanced by “Explosive Light,” so don’t leave any light orbs behind.
The new pinnacle weapon of Gambit – Silence
What kind of weapon is this? In Gambit, you can earn a Solar precision bow as a pinnacle weapon this time.
What can the weapon do? The special perk of Silence, “Archer’s Gambit,” grants a huge draw speed bonus for a short time when you land precision shots from the hip.
Archer’s Gambit should pay off significantly more than Shooter’s Tempo, but it also requires more skill to maximize its effectiveness.
How are the new pinnacle weapons being received so far?
This is what the fans think: The Guardians have received these new weapons with mixed feelings so far.
Some are looking forward to trying them out themselves. However, many Guardians believe that the perks are not particularly exciting and that the new guns are rather disappointing compared to their predecessors. Others, however, emphasize that the weapons should be played live first before making a final judgment.
The new action RPG Warhammer: Chaosbane is playable for pre-order customers starting now. Some players have already shared their first impressions. We were also able to play a bit beforehand. Read here for the experiences.
Who can play Chaosbane already? Today, on May 31, 2019, early access started for Warhammer: Chaosbane. Those who pre-ordered can play starting today, including:
the Digital Deluxe Edition for €54.99 or
the Magnus Edition for €69.99
Anyone who pre-ordered. This applies to all available platforms on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
These are the first reviews: Although the game has only been playable since 10 AM our time, some users on Steam have already submitted reviews. Currently, the game has 72% positive reviews on Steam (as of May 31 at 2:00 PM).
This is praised: What most players and testers have praised so far are the combat system and the gameplay. Chaosbane offers a multitude of different enemies, some of which die easily and some attack with abilities that require a bit of skill so that players do not end up dying.
According to the review by RockPaperShotgun, the focus of fights lies more on the abilities than on the loot. The tactical abilities of the four available characters change the dynamics of each fight. For example, the wizard can steer the direction of his spells. Thus, the constant slaughter is always exciting.
The mentioned loot is also well received. The items you can find often provide improvements, but they will not immediately make you an overpowered Chaos Slayer. You will gradually get better, and the selection and upgrade options are easily understandable.
Another major plus is the multiplayer, which runs well and smoothly. Chaosbane also offers couch co-op for players who want to play with their friends on a console.
Frequently praised features also include the graphics, the UI, and the sound. The environment fits the typically dark Warhammer, while still keeping the details – especially the UI – clearly visible and readable. Sound effects are varied, and the death of different chaos followers sounds quite satisfying.

This is criticized: Although Chaosbane is currently receiving a lot of praise, some things are also criticized. Especially some mechanics disturb the players.
In a thread on reddit, user ualac reports his first experiences with the finished game. What bothers him the most is the lack of variety, which likely also stems from the rather flat story criticized elsewhere.
One of his biggest criticisms, however, is that changing passive abilities comes at the cost of certain fragments. It doesn’t feel easy to just try something new, as it feels like a punishment if one has skilled something “wrong”.
Additionally, Chaosbane still has some smaller bugs. IGN criticizes that the wood elf Elyssa sometimes has spoken lines that were delivered by a male voice. Her entire voice acting sounds rather poor compared to other heroes, as if she was adjusted last minute.
The elf Elyssa might have been meant to be a guy.
This is our impression from the beta
MeinMMO author Benedict had the opportunity to test Chaosbane in the beta a little. Although only a few hours were logged, these at least provide a solid first impression.
Benedict says: I generally agree with the reviews that have been published so far. The battles in Chaosbane are varied and exciting; it is simply fun to slay through hordes of enemies and bring on the red tide.
I largely agree on the criticism points as well. Some minor issues like display errors in the inventory or incorrectly selected equipment are annoying but not major obstacles. Only on the story do I disagree. As a Warhammer fan, I find the story sufficient to even quite good.
Pros
great details and good graphics
dark environment and oppressive atmosphere
varied enemies
good gameplay and interesting skills
unique classes
Cons
no individual conversations between characters in multiplayer
partly ridiculously weak enemies and ridiculously strong bosses
somewhat flat missions with little variety
If you have already played Chaosbane: What is your impression? If not: Will you get it?
For those who prefer to look further in the ARPG market, there is plenty of choice in 2019:
Blizzard says they have a lot of games in the works, and they also want to expand the Overwatch universe. Our author Schuhmann asks: What would an Overwatch-MMORPG look like today and would it be successful?
These have been the statements lately: Blizzard is currently on a press tour again. There are many different statements from J. Allen Brack, the head of the studio:
they want to further expand the Overwatch universe, seeing Overwatch not as a sole game but as a franchise
and they have more exciting projects in development than ever before. Blizzard is eager to finally show them to the players.
Let’s assume for a moment that one of the new projects would be an Overwatch MMORPG.
Cool tank, right?
What could an Overwatch MMORPG look like? When talking about an Overwatch MMORPG, it’s hard to imagine a classic old-school MMORPG like WoW.
It won’t be about “Press Tab to select a mob, and then 1, 3, and 5 while moving with W out of the fire.”
An Overwatch MMORPG would likely be more of an action MMORPG in the vein of WildStar or Black Desert – with a modern look, an action combat system with telegraphs, and a sci-fi aesthetic, like that from the shooter Overwatch.
Firearms and ranged combat would likely be more in focus than in traditional MMORPGs.
Instead of traditional classes, they would rely on characters that resemble the heroes from Overwatch:
a tank would have the abilities of Reinhardt
Mercy’s skills would be those of a healer
Mei could serve as a model for a CC class
and Junkrat as an example of a rather effective but crazy ranged DD class
Perhaps an action online RPG would be an option with heavily simplified RPG elements and only a rudimentary inventory and skill tree.
Would such a game have a chance? Such an MMORPG could appear on PS5, Xbox Two, and PC – here Blizzard would have a gap for themselves. The then older platforms PS4 and Xbox One could also be served by Blizzard.
This kind of action MMORPG would likely hardly compete with WoW and would overall have little competition to fear.
Competitor titles like The Elder Scrolls Online differ significantly from the Overwatch MMORPG – perhaps the “Fortnite” generation would enjoy such a title if the gameplay resembled that of the Overwatch shooter.
Of course, Blizzard would take a long time to develop such a game and to build a solid content pipeline. But then, a successful action MMORPG in today’s time with a strong brand would be a goldmine.
After all, the core target group is used to spending money on cosmetics (Overwatch) or even just to play the game.
That’s why Overwatch is suitable for an MMORPG: As Blizzard fans know, Overwatch was originally part of “Titan,” Blizzard’s failed MMORPG project, into which they wasted years and a lot of money.
But the failure has a silver lining: Because during the development of Titan, a lot of time was already invested in creating the world of Overwatch.
Blizzard has spent the last 3 years expanding the universe: fans love the characters and the world that emerged. The Overwatch cosmos works and has created an enthusiastic fandom, as we know.
An Overwatch MMORPG would now start with a significant awareness bonus and there could be an interesting synergy between the Overwatch shooter and the MMORPG.
Why aren’t they doing it? The fantasy also has a dampener. Because Titan was probably a torment for everyone involved in the project back then. Blizzard failed to find a game concept that was really fun.
And not much has happened since the days of Titan: Today, new platforms like the PS5 or the next Xbox would surely be attractive targets for an action MMORPG, but it seems unlikely that Blizzard would take the risk to invest so many resources in a project that takes years.
What could the next Overwatch be? I think Blizzard will make a new Overwatch game, and it will focus on action and further expand the world. However, it probably won’t be an action MMORPG – as great as the idea would be.
Perhaps Blizzard will be more inspired by games like Anthem or Destiny for the next Overwatch and develop an action shooter with a PvE focus and some RPG elements, perhaps actually in the first-person perspective.
It will probably be a title for PC and the next generation of consoles, for PS5 and Xbox Two. We can expect it by the end of 2020 – that would explain why Blizzard has remained so reserved at the last BlizzCons.
This is what EA promises: Major gameplay improvements are mentioned. EA Sports promises to have heard the fans and intends to implement what many have demanded. A total of 9 gameplay issues are listed and explained how they will be improved in FIFA 20.
No longer in FIFA 19: EA also confirms that no major gameplay improvements will be delivered for FIFA 19. This is likely to upset many fans. According to EA, this is because some gameplay improvements are simply too complex to implement in a game that has already been released.
EA changed timed finish shots more often in FIFA 19
These changes are expected in FIFA 20
EA listens to fans’ criticism: Throughout the FIFA year, EA Sports has collected a lot of feedback from fans and game changers and is now using this to tweak the gameplay of FIFA 20. The following features are set to be improved:
AI Defensive Behavior
This is the problem: Manual defending in FIFA 19 is rarely rewarded and is not as effective as the AI’s automatic defending. For this reason, many players completely cede defense to the AI and try to manually close passing lanes.
This is set to change: Manual defending is to be rewarded more so that not every player lets the AI defend automatically. Additionally, the effectiveness of closing down should be reduced.
Consistency in 1-on-1 Shots
This is the problem: In 1-on-1 situations, it is sometimes difficult to get the ball into the net. Even with a clear path to goal, players often hit the crossbar or post.
This is set to change: The 1-on-1 situations against the goalkeeper should lead to more and easier goals. Especially in front of an open goal, the ball should go in more easily. Improved goalkeeper reactions are also promised to reduce unrealistic situations.
Finishing Timing
This is the problem: The timed finish shots were particularly too strong at the beginning of FIFA 19. Over the year, they were weakened, but they are still not well-balanced.
This is set to change: The timed finish shots should become even more difficult and less precise. Thus, the timing window for the green finish will be further shortened. Timing shots will continue to be more precise than regular shots.
Volley Crosses and Volley Shots
This is the problem: The lob or volley cross is too strong in FIFA 19 and is exploited by many players. This is mainly due to the flight path of the lob cross, which is different from that of a normal cross and almost impossible to defend.
This is set to change: The lob and volley cross should lose a lot of effectiveness. It should also be significantly harder for forwards to make headers. Volley shots will also be weakened.
Chained Skill Moves
This is the problem: Hardly defendable in FIFA 19 are players who execute one La Croqueta move after another in the penalty area. Unlimited consecutive skill moves are currently possible.
This is set to change: In FIFA 20, this should change. The likelihood of making a mistake after the second skill move should increase, making it more common to lose the ball when spamming skill moves.
Positioning in Set Pieces
This is the problem: Often during a corner, you find your own heading monsters in vain. This is as annoying as small defenders covering large strikers, both happen frequently in FIFA 19.
This is set to change: EA promises smarter players in the penalty area during set pieces for FIFA 20. Dangerous forwards should now appear more often in the box, and smaller defenders should cover fewer big strikers.
Manual Goalkeeper Movements
This is the problem: Manually controlling the goalkeeper in FIFA 19 is a really good innovation. The problem is that, if mastered correctly, it can quickly become a bit unfair.
This is set to change: It should still be possible to control the goalkeeper manually, but the goalkeeper should be able to move more realistically, i.e. slower. Additionally, you will have to decide on a direction and will no longer be able to move freely.

This is the problem: Difficult passes like 180-degree passes or passes under pressure were too easy and succeed almost every time in FIFA 19.
This is set to change: Difficult passes should now be more challenging in the game and no longer succeed in every situation. Additionally, easy passes with a completely free lane should become more precise.
Player Switching
This is the problem: Players are often locked onto free balls. A manual player switch is then no longer possible.
This is set to change: EA wants to completely overhaul the player-switching mechanic and prevent exactly such situations. The manual player switching using the right stick should also become significantly more precise.
The Reactions of the Fans
The changes are hotly debated: Many FIFA fans are annoyed that EA is saving the improvements for FIFA 20, so reddit user Devine_Dog skeptically asks: “Wait, they’re addressing all the problems but fixing them only in the next FIFA?”
Also, reddit user WithoutChance is not pleased: “So we paid full price to beta test the game, and then we have to pay full price again to receive potential improvements?”
Other players, however, appreciate the heard criticism and the detailed blog post from EA. So, Javi_Air writes on reddit: “Now let’s not exaggerate. They promise to try it, and I honestly believe them.”
The majority of FIFA fans, however, remain somewhat skeptical and prefer to wait and see how FIFA 20 will actually play.
In the upcoming MMORPG Lost Ark, there is bad news for us in Germany. Although the closed beta is starting soon in the not-so-distant Russia, the publisher there, Mail.ru, has decided to exclude us. A regional lock will be active according to discussions with the developers.
It has been announced that Lost Ark will expand to China and Russia. A Western release in Europe and North America is also planned, but eager fans are still waiting for details.
Those players who found the South Korean MMORPG too complicated to access hope now for a chance to easily play Lost Ark in Russia. However, that won’t happen.
This is Lost Ark – many are looking forward to it.
This is what Mail.Ru says: It is said that they consulted with the developer again and now the game is region-locked. The Russian version of Lost Ark is thus restricted to Russia and a few other states with many consonants, namely:
Kazakhstan
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Tajikistan
Kyrgyzstan
Belarus
Ukraine
Azerbaijan
Georgia
South Ossetia
Abkhazia
Moldova
Armenia
Anyone in Europe who absolutely wants to play the Russian version will thus have to try as hard to overcome obstacles as with the South Korean version. We have described how to do this here.
Lost Ark is supposed to launch in Russia in 2019, but there is still no specific date.
This can also be seen positively: If you prefer the perspective of the half-full glass, you can read the news as Smilegate apparently really plans to release an international version for Europe and North America. Therefore, Smilegate finds it important to forbid Russians from offering their game west of the Iron Curtain.
A little salt in the wound is that Mail.ru has already released a demo version of Lost Ark that is 27 GB large and allows players to use four classes and play a small map.

The crown shop of The Elder Scrolls Online has received two new animals. One of them closely resembles the Harry Potter movies.
What’s new in the shop? Zenimax Online offers you two new animals:
The Ghostly House Cat as an undead pet for 1,000 crowns
The Dreaded Moose as a mount for 3,000 crowns
This ghost cat can be your pet in ESO.
creepy animals in ESO
What kind of animals are these? Each of the animals has its own peculiarities:
The Ghostly House Cat is a being that, according to Nibenese legends, haunts its owner’s house after the owner has been murdered. The cat is sent by Lord Pumpkinface to torment the murderer.
The Dreaded Moose apparently originates from the spirit world or from Lord Hircine’s realm. It does not disappear in daylight and can therefore be effectively used as a mount. The moose makes ghostly sounds and leaves a mysterious glow while galloping.
What is special about it? When looking at the Dreaded Moose, one gets the impression of having seen it before. Not only does it somewhat resemble the Indrik mount from ESO, but fans of the Harry Potter movies might find the design familiar.

What does the moose remind you of? The ghostly moose looks very similar to the stag that appears when Harry Potter casts the spell “Expecto Patronum” in the films.
The spell is used in the films (and the books) when one wants to protect themselves from threats. The so-called “physical Patronus” helps the wizard to drive away the attackers. This Patronus always takes a form that remains the same for the wizard. For Harry Potter, it is a ghostly stag.
What do players think of the Dreaded Moose? Players are showing a great interest in both animals, but the mount particularly appeals to many. Riding through Tamriel on a ghostly moose has its charm.
However, some find the price a bit too high. At 3,000 crowns, it is one of the most expensive mounts in the game. This is also the case with the cat. Kiyakotari writes in the official forum: “I was so looking forward to the moose and the cat, but now they are both offered at a crazy price.”
The caster Maxim Markow bet on the outcome of a LoL game. Because he lost this bet, he had to read the patch notes of League of Legends naked. You can see the result here.
What was the bet about? On May 17, the caster made a tweet that included a bet. It states:
“I will cast TL vs IG in an hour! I’m really excited about it. Because if TL should win, the upcoming patch rundowns will be moderated exclusively naked.”
Ultimately, the TL (Team Liquid) team was able to decide the encounter 3:1 against IG. Maxim then commented on the result with this gif.
Maxim is very well-known in the German LoL community and is considered by many to be the most famous German LoL caster. He made a name for himself as “Lets Read Small Books” on YouTube. His channel has over 570,000 subscribers there, and on TwitchTV, he has over 140,000 on his channel.
This is how Maxim fulfilled the bet: On Thursday, May 30, a new video about the patch notes rundown was released on Maxim’s YouTube channel. With an interesting helicopter animation, the caster flew in front of the greenscreen and picked up the microphone.
With the words “Bet debts are honor debts, ladies and gentlemen,” he opened the report about the new LoL update.
“In contrast to my device, this patch is comparatively short,” explains Maxim, while a generously large censorship bar covers a crucial part of his lower body.
In the YouTube video, you can get an impression yourself and, if your concentration is not disturbed, learn more about the new LoL patch.

The funny action is well received in the LoL community.
The video even made it into the YouTube trends
One day later, the video already reached 446,000 views (as of May 31 – 11:00 AM)
A post on Reddit with this video received 11,000 upvotes after 22 hours
In the comments on Reddit and YouTube, viewers enjoy the creativity of the video. They also praise that he stood by his bet.
“That’s a generous black box he’s given himself.”
“The helicopter intro made me cry”
“In Germany, we call that an honorary man”
“He really did it. Legend!”
“Maxim: Gets undressed. YouTube: Off to the trends with him”
Viewers also remind that the original tweet states “the upcoming patch rundowns”. Since this is spoken in the plural form, there are now expectations for further videos of this kind from Maxim.
In Fortnite there were rumors that Twitch star Turner “Tfue” Tenney wanted to start his own eSports organization. Therefore, he sued his clan FaZe to get out of the contract. But the Fortnite star now strongly denies plans to start his own clan.
Where does the idea come from? The FaZe clan explained in a statement to the fans that Fortnite player Tfue wanted to leave the clan and his contract in order to start his own eSports organization.
Apparently, Tfue’s brother may have exaggerated a bit or the idea of starting an organization was not taken so seriously.
I’m too stupid for that, buddy
This is what Tfue says now: In a podcast with Koncrete, Tfue now comments on the idea that he would start his own organization.
“I never said that. No way. I have no time to run a company. I’m too stupid for that, buddy. I can’t even read a contract. What makes you think I could start an eSports organization?”
Tfue in a YouTube podcast
Regarding the contract, Tfue also mentioned that he was an idiot for signing it. He behaved like a total fool. But in the end, they [FaZe] shouldnever have offered him an illegal contract.

Tfue recommends throughout the conversation that anyone wanting to make a name for themselves in the music or gaming industry should hire a lawyer. You need someone to look out for you.
Even if you don’t have much money: A lawyer is worth spending a little money for legal advice.
Tfue himself says he pays his lawyer “a lot,” he says.
What do other successful streamers say about their own org? In the lead-up to the interview, Twitch star and Fortnite pro Tyler “Ninja” Blevins also commented on how he sees the founding of his own eSports organizations (via dexerto).
Ninja strongly advised Tfue against it. You would hardly produce any content yourself, it would be incredibly exhausting. You would have to make all the decisions, attend all the meetings, raise money, and meet with investors.
This would take too much time away from streaming or being active in eSports. And having your own organization is also not necessarily profitable at the start.
For himself, however, Ninja can imagine eventually starting his own eSports organization, but not in the foreseeable future.
Tfue recently accused his Fortnite clan of having made an 11-year-old player into a Fortnite pro:
In Pokémon GO, the release of Jirachi seems to be increasingly likely. Dataminers have now found further hints of a possible special research project featuring the mysterious Pokémon.
What points to Jirachi? The new update 0.145.0 is currently being rolled out and dataminers have already taken a close look at it.
In doing so, snippets of code have been found that are intended to show the encounter with Jirachi. There is also a part that hints at a special research project with Jirachi.
Jirachi in Pokémon GO – Is it coming soon?
What is Jirachi anyway? This Pokémon is from Generation 3 and, like Mew and Celebi, is a mythical Pokémon. Mythical Pokémon have always been introduced in Pokémon GO through special research or EX raids so far.
When could it be happening? Many players suspect the release for the GO Fest in Chicago. The event is already set for June 13. It shouldn’t be long now. A special research project has already been announced for this event.
How certain is this whole thing? So far, this is only based on the findings of dataminers. Niantic itself has not officially confirmed anything yet.
Nevertheless, things are now slowly moving into the critical phase for Jirachi, as almost everything needed for a release is now in the code. This has always meant that the Pokémon comes into the game shortly afterward.
What do you think? When can we expect the release of Jirachi?
The season of opulence of Destiny 2 has so far been marked by nerfs. However, Bungie has also introduced some buffs and further adjustments that they intend to make for Season 7.
Some top weapon exotics, such as the Whisper of the Worm or Lord of Wolves, along with popular exotic armor pieces like Orpheus Rig or the Skull of Dire Ahamkara, will also be affected.
Many guardians found this too much – especially since no buffs were mentioned at all with the announcement of the nerfs. This affected the mood among the fans. Season 7 has even been called the season of the nerf or “Go Slow” update by some.
Here’s how Bungie is trying to smooth things over: The studio had already announced that they do not only plan to swing the nerf hammer. More information should follow. Now, in the current “This Week at Bungie” blog, they have provided an initial look at buffs and further adjustments for Season 7.
What’s changing with fusion rifles, swords, and Sturm und Drang
Specifically, they have focused the preview on changes to two weapon classes that many guardians believe have been neglected, as well as a specific weapon pair.
The fusion rifles: For non-exotic fusion rifles, PvE damage has been significantly increased – contrary to popular jokes, not just by 0.004%. Starting in Season 7
the high-impact archetype will deal 30% more damage
the precision archetype will deal 44% more damage
the adaptive archetype will deal 44% more damage
and the rapid-fire archetype will deal 47% more damage
against AI enemies.
Exotic fusion rifles like Telesto, Jötunn, or Merciless have also been strengthened in this area, but only minimally (less than 5%). They wanted to bring legendary fusion rifles closer to their exotic counterparts, as the gap in PvE was simply too large in Bungie’s view.
The swords: The ammunition capacity and the amount of ammunition you start with have been buffed. Additionally, the damage of certain attacks of specific archetypes has been increased. However, there were further adjustments. Here’s what changes in detail:
The maximum ammunition capacity for swords will be 70 starting in Season 7
The starting ammunition has been increased by 10
Black Talon (exotic)
Projectiles on the ground and in the air now cost 4 instead of 3 ammunition
Swords with adaptive frame
Ground uppercut now costs 4 instead of 3 ammunition
Swords with aggressive frame
Light attacks in the air will now lunge towards the target
Light attack has now been consolidated into a single damage phase
Heavy attack has now been consolidated into a single damage phase
Heavy attack now costs 4 instead of 3 ammunition
Swords with lightweight frame
The damage of this archetype has been tuned
Damage of light attack on the ground increased by 17%
Damage of light attack in the air reduced by 21%
Damage of heavy attack on the ground increased by 87%
Damage of heavy attack in the air increased by 78%
Damage of light attack in the air without ammunition reduced by 49%
Damage of all other attacks without ammunition reduced by 15%
Damage of heavy attack on the ground now costs 3 instead of 2 ammunition
Sturm und Drang:Sturm und Drang is a weapon duo consisting of the exotic hand cannon Sturm and the legendary sidearm Drang. Both weapons are intended to synergize and benefit each other.
Unfortunately, this dynamic duo has completely faded into obscurity since the release of the Forsaken expansion, which Bungie wants to change in Season 7.
The maximum capacity for bonus damage rounds generated by the perk “Sturm und Stress” of Sturm has been increased to 99. “Sturm und Stress” causes kills with Drang to reload Sturm and overflow a bonus damage round into the magazine (previously up to 20).
When this buff is active, the number of bonus damage rounds will be displayed
The bonus damage of these rounds has been increased by 100% in PvE
So in Season 7, not only popular weapon exotics are being nerfed, but certainly weaker exotics are also being buffed. By the way, swords and Drang are expected to receive a new look in Season 7.
Also interesting: Soon there should finally be information about what guardians can expect beyond Season 7. You can learn more about it here:
June 2019 is here and once again we have picked a few MMOs and online games for you that are particularly exciting this month.
We have listed five games here and on the following pages that will either receive new content in June or are otherwise trending. Kicking off is a new addon for a popular MMORPG.
The Elder Scrolls Online
What’s new in The Elder Scrolls Online? In ESO, the 3rd addon Elsweyr is finally available for all platforms starting June 4th. PC players have been able to travel to Elsweyr since May 20th.
The addon along with the free update 22 brings, among other things, a new area, a new necromancer class, and dragons as cool world events.
The necromancer is a class that has been requested since the game’s release in 2014, and the necro is as cool as players have always wanted it to be.
What’s included in the update: Veterans can also look forward to the new raid Sunspire. It is expected to be a real challenge for guilds and well-coordinated teams. Thanks to the guild finder, you can now search for a guild easier than ever.
Why should you play ESO?
Elsweyr offers a wave of new content for ESO fans. There may not be anything fundamentally new, but for those who have always liked ESO and want to learn more about the homeland of the Khajiit, there is now the first opportunity to explore a truly new region of Tamriel.

Microsoft unexpectedly announced plans to release more games through Steam. Even Gears 5 is set to appear on Valve’s platform. What does this mean?
What was announced? Microsoft’s Phil Spencer stated that they want to give players the choice of where to purchase their games. This means that Microsoft will initially offer 20 Xbox Game Studios titles through Steam.
Microsoft opens up to other platforms
Which games does Microsoft want to release through Steam? Phil Spencer mentioned Age of Empires 1-3 Definitive Editions and Gears 5 (Gears of War 5) as the first titles to be offered on Valve’s platform. It is also quite possible that we will see titles like Sea of Thieves or Forza Horizon on Steam.
While this wasn’t explicitly stated, Phil Spencer hinted at it. He aims to focus heavily on crossplay in the future, allowing players on different platforms to interact with one another. This would be very suitable for Forza Horizon or Sea of Thieves.
Why is this special? Microsoft has hardly released games through Steam before, to support its own Microsoft Store. The fact that the company is now placing more emphasis on Steam is somewhat unusual.
What is the problem? Microsoft will need to offer the games in multiple formats in the future. The titles are available as Universal Windows Apps (UWA) through the Microsoft Store. However, for Steam, Win32 files are required. This means that Microsoft must now also offer the games in Win32 format.
A broader audience is to be reached
What does Microsoft want to achieve with this? The Microsoft Store is not well-received by players. It has faced criticism for years. Microsoft is aware of the issue.
To reach more players, the company now wants to broaden its approach. Steam is one of the largest gaming platforms with a vast number of players. Offering titles there greatly expands the customer base.
Furthermore, Microsoft has certainly noticed the discussions surrounding exclusivity deals with the Epic Games Store and wants to avoid similar situations for its own titles in the future.
UWAs, however, only support DirectX 11.1 and 12, which is why older games cannot be found in the Windows Store. This means, however, that these titles can now be offered through Steam.
What do the players think?Players are already excited to see more Microsoft games on Steam, especially older titles like Freelancer or Rise of Nations.
Some find it particularly interesting that Microsoft titles could also run on Linux. Many titles are playable on Linux via Steam’s Proton interface.
When will we learn more? According to Phil Spencer, Microsoft intends to reveal more about this at E3.
It is also interesting that Microsoft wants to bring Xbox Game Pass to PC:
After the reveal of the new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, more details are emerging. It is now known that there will be no Season Pass or paid DLCs. Additionally, cross-play between PC and consoles is apparently planned.
This is changing with Modern Warfare: Two of the biggest changes compared to previous installments in the series, apart from the new engine, are the lack of a Season Pass and planned cross-play between PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
No Call of Duty in recent years has skipped a Season Pass, and there has been no cross-play until now. We summarize all known information about these innovations.
The first CoD with cross-play functionality, forgoing Season Pass and paid maps
This is what we know so far about the cross-play feature: It is certain that developer Infinity Ward wants to enable cross-play on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it is planned for Modern Warfare. No details are available yet. Therefore, it is not known whether there will be separate modes or how it will function.
Cross-play features are increasingly being integrated into games. Fortnite is considered one of the major titles that introduced this feature. Recently, Dauntless was released, which also allows cross-play.
Modern Warfare also forgoes a Season Pass and additionally skips paid maps. Furthermore, developers promise additional free content.
This is what the developers say about the innovations:
With the launch of Modern Warfare, we are taking steps to unite the community. […], we are eliminating the traditional Season Pass so that we can deliver more free maps and also content as post-launch events for all players. This is just the beginning – more is to come.
Many can hardly believe it. One player writes on Reddit: “Free? Am I dreaming?”
The majority react with disbelief and find it hard to believe that Activision wants to take this path.
Ultimately, there were numerous discussions surrounding the last installment, Black Ops 4, regarding the questionable pricing policy for the Season Pass and in-game shop.
The cross-play feature is also very well received. One player writes: “Cross-play is a big win and with the free maps, the player base won’t be split.”
Overall, the mood around Modern Warfare is currently very euphoric.
What do you think of the innovations? Are you as excited as many other fans?If you haven’t read the announcement about Modern Warfare yet, you can catch up on it at Mein-MMO.de:
In Fortnite there is a nerf for the new Burst SMG. The weapon has only been in the game since the latest patch and is already being changed. We will tell you how good it is now.
This is the weapon in question: The Burst SMG was introduced with the Patch 9.10 that was implemented on May 29. It is a burst submachine gun that always fires in 4-shot bursts.
Previously, the Burst SMG was especially strong at close range, but could also relatively quickly shoot through walls. For Epic, the weapon was probably too strong, which is why it has now been nerfed.
Nerf of the Burst SMG – What’s new
What was changed? Until now, the Burst had a damage of 25/27/28. Now the damage has been reduced to 23/24/25. Epic made this known via Twitter.

The change is quite significant. There were up to 3 points less in damage for the Burst SMG. It remains to be seen whether the weapon is still useful.
Was this nerf necessary? Many players debate this. Some fans say that the weapon was useless even before the nerf and didn’t deal much damage. Thus, the nerf made an already useless weapon even more useless.

Other players, including the famous streamer Ninja, considered the weapon to be very strong. Ninja even called the weapon meta-changing and repeatedly demonstrated in his gameplay how strong the weapon had been.
The Burst SMG is getting a nerf
What could be the reason for the nerf? A possible reason might be the strength of the weapon against walls. Ninja demonstrated this in his stream as well. He quickly shot through the opponent’s wall and still managed to hit him, leading to an elimination.
This might have been too easy for Epic, which is why the walls are now more resistant against the Burst SMG.
What do you think about the nerf? Was it necessary?
At E3, we will finally learn more about the mysterious game Marvel’s Avengers, which Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are currently working on. Now there are new hints about what we can expect.
What have previous rumors said about the game? After the announcement with a cinematic teaser in early 2017, it went quiet about the game. Square Enix basically revealed that it is a AAA title that a large team is working on. Over and over, rumors about games-as-a-service, multiplayer, and a steady stream of content have emerged.
Therefore, many assumed it would be some kind of Destiny with superheroes. So an online action game where you complete missions together with friends, search for loot, and meet and interact with other players in a hub.

What do the latest hints suggest? Now, just before E3, there is some new information about Marvel’s Avengers, which apparently is the official title of the game. An entry for the game has appeared on the E3 website. It states that it should be the ultimate gaming experience for The Avengers.
The now-deleted description stated:
“Embrace your powers and meet the developers of Crystal Dynamics and the creative team from Marvel Games as they exclusively discuss the new Marvel’s Avengers. It’s the defining Avengers gaming experience. An epic action-adventure that combines cinematic storytelling with a continuous single-player and cooperative gameplay. Hosted by Andrea Rene, you assemble teams of up to four players, master unique abilities, customize your heroes to fit your playstyle, and combine your powers to defend a constantly expanding world facing ever-present threats.”
Does this fit with “Destiny with superheroes”? The description raises quite a few questions. Destiny and single-player don’t really go together. While you can play Destiny alone, the loot shooter is designed for multiplayer.
However, the cooperative aspect suggests that the multiplayer part plays a significant role. That, in turn, already reminds more of Destiny.
Maybe we can expect a kind of Destiny that can also be played well alone and perhaps doesn’t require a group for content, but leaves it optional whether you want to play with friends. Those who play cooperatively will have their gaming experience adjusted to a group.
What else has been said? It is said that you can assemble a team of up to four players whose abilities you must master and combine.
Furthermore, the world is supposed to continuously grow and offer you new challenges. In addition, the customization of the hero plays an important role, which sounds like cosmetic items.
So is it not an MMO?
What does this mean? According to this statement, Marvel’s Avengers will very likely be a games-as-a-service game. The constantly growing world with new threats sounds like continuous updates.
What do the players think? On Reddit, speculation about the game is already happening. There it is noted, for example, by Plebeian Games: “According to leaks, it is a Destiny-like game. Even if it has a single-player part, we will probably always be online and constantly interacting with other players.”
Whether this is really the case will be revealed on June 11. It’s exciting.
Those who want to experience the whole story of Nazjatar in the new patch of World of Warcraft (WoW) must farm reputation diligently.
Currently, in World of Warcraft, the upcoming Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara is being tested on the Public Test Realms (PTR). Nazjatar will be the next major area where the story will progress.
However, even though Blizzard wanted to implement less “time-gating” this time, there will again be reputation barriers. We explain what that means.
Chapters of Nazjatar require reputation: Nazjatar and Mechagon will both be accessible from “Day 1” of Patch 8.2, but the story will unfold gradually. The main chapters of the story will not be unlocked weekly but will be tied to a specific reputation (similar to the War Campaign).
Those who want to experience “everything” about the story as quickly as possible should complete every available world quest to fill their reputation bar with the new factions as quickly as possible. Otherwise, experiencing the story quests may take longer.
Nazjatar is surrounded by a wall of water. Many secrets can be found in the depths…
Why are there reputation limitations? In an interview with Forbes, Game Director Ion Hazzikostas emphasizes that a certain form of “gating” is necessary to adjust the speed of gameplay to the narrative as well. Hazzikostas stated:
[The reputation requirements] are not something huge like a wall, just a small regulation to make it feel like time is actually passing between “All right, we just crashed here and arrived” and “We have established a base and are taking further steps”.
We have concluded that reputation limitations are the better way to unlock [new quests] instead of fixed intervals where you say: “You have to wait until Tuesday.” This provides opportunities to speed things up.
Ion Hazzikostas, the Game Director of World of Warcraft.
Less time-gating than before: Basically, Blizzard wants to hide very few contents behind barriers with Patch 8.2. Only the raid and the mega dungeon Mechagon will be released slightly later, allowing players enough time to experience the story and prepare for the raid. It is, however, completely normal that raids are not available immediately upon patch release.
The entire other content, meaning essentially the complete areas of Mechagon and Nazjatar, will be directly available. There is enough to do, and especially collectors should enjoy themselves.
Nonetheless, reputation is still important: However, reputation will likely not be a big issue for most players, as there is another reason to farm it. Besides unlocking further story quests, reputation is also necessary for the meta achievement, which unlocks flying in Kul Tiras and Zandalar. This also includes the two new areas Mechagon and Nazjatar.
There is still no release date for Patch 8.2.
Do you find such reputation limits sensible and understand the arguments of the Game Director? Or is this just another form of “time-gating” that also requires ongoing gameplay performance?

Respawn has announced drastic changes for the second Battle Pass of Apex Legends. In the upcoming Season 2 of the shooter, much of the criticism of the first Battle Pass will be addressed. Additionally, challenges and time-limited events are to come.
The challenges will come in the form of daily and weekly challenges. The weekly challenges will accumulate. So if you don’t complete everything in one week, you can continue in the next week without losing anything.
How exactly the challenges will look has not yet been stated. They are not supposed to “drastically change” the gameplay but will provide “interesting variation from game to game”.

Here’s how the new skins will be available: The legendary items in the Battle Pass will be available every 25 levels, starting from level 1 of the Battle Pass, specifically on levels 1, 25, 50, 75, and 100.
If none of the new items are appealing, players can accumulate enough crafting materials throughout the duration of the Battle Pass to craft any Legendary skin.
What replaces the badges? Instead of badges and stat trackers for your banner, Season 2 will see three new content categories introduced. Which these will be will be revealed closer to the start of Season 2.
However, at least one badge is still expected to exist for Season 2. This will evolve throughout the season rather than occupying reward slots like in Season 1.
Boring rewards are to be replaced.
This is the event “The Legendary Hunt”
In addition to the Battle Pass, Respawn announced a new event named “The Hunt.” This will likely conclude Season 1.

When does the event start? The event is set to begin next Tuesday, June 4, 2019. It is expected to last two weeks.
What do you think of the changes so far?
Apex Legends is not only working on the Battle Pass but also on the cheater problem:
