Rockstar has now revealed new details about the Casino DLC in GTA Online and the opening of the building. The location is clear, the release date can now be anticipated.
What’s new? Today, on June 20th, the Casino in GTA Online has changed visually once again. There are now further indications that work is actively being done on the building. The construction site in front of the location has now increased again.
Additionally, Rockstar has now officially addressed the Casino and talked about a release date. As we now know, you will soon be able to enjoy yourself in the newly opened Casino.
Contents of the Casino DLC for GTA Online
What did Rockstar announce? A new post on the GTA Online website mentions what the Casino will bring to the game. Some Casino wishes of the players will be fulfilled with this content update.
The developers have not yet wanted to disclose an exact release date to the community. However, it is said that the Casino in GTA Online will open sometime in the summer of 2019. The opening should take place in the upcoming summer weeks if everything goes according to plan.
What is the name of the Casino? The building is under the name “The Diamond Casino & Resort”. According to Rockstar Games, it is supposed to be a luxury destination and a huge entertainment complex.
According to the developer post, there will be at the Diamond Casino & Resort:
Generous amenities
exclusive shopping offers
top-notch entertainment
and state-of-the-art gambling options
In addition, there will be outstanding guest service, a parking service and fine drinks at the bar. A lucky wheel is even said to be included.
What gambling options are there? Besides the lucky wheel, no gambling option has been specifically mentioned. However, it is stated that there will be “a range of sophisticated table games”.
In recent weeks, there have been recurring wishes on social networks for blackjack, poker, and roulette. Now, everyone is curious about what Rockstar will implement from that.
Whether and how you can make money with the new Casino is still unclear. Soon, Rockstar Games intends to reveal more details about the Casino.
In Apex Legends, there is a new kill record for squads. The three players wiped out almost the entire battlefield alone. But somehow, hardly anyone is interested. How come?
What is this record? Three players set a new kill record in a round of Apex Legends on the Xbox One. Together, they achieved 53 kills in one round – out of just 57 opponents present in the game. The record is now held by:
ImGobbleSauce
Maseoon
OgxSlum
The three players set the record on June 7, 2019. Since then, hardly anyone has shown interest. The corresponding YouTube video has been viewed only about 5000 times and received just 57 upvotes (as of June 20 at 15:20):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi7GYS8Pmkk
That’s why the record hardly reaches anyone
What is the problem with kill records? An important point regarding the relative unpopularity of such records is the way they are achieved. Experienced players create new accounts exclusively for the purpose of “kill farming,” known as “smurfs”.
With these smurfs, they play rounds where they are primarily matched with other new players, or so the assumption goes. However, if they are indeed novices and not smurfs, the veterans have an easy time.
They wait, for example, for opposing teams to revive their teammates, in order to claim even more kills for themselves. This was already sharply criticized by the community during a previous kill record .
This is the current status of Apex Legends: Overall interest in Apex Legends has declined somewhat recently. Since its release in February 2019, fewer and fewer players have been watching the game on Twitch.
Both average viewers and peak numbers have gone down. In recent days, the game has roughly held its own, but in the long term, interest has waned somewhat since the initial hype.
This, however, initially means that players’ interest in media content has decreased. No statement can be made about player numbers due to lack of official figures.

What the future brings
Is Apex Legends dying now? No. A decline in interest in a game shortly after its release is normal. Apex Legends has simply not received the new boost in its first season that some may have hoped for.
However, the second season of Apex Legends is already on the way starting July 2. In this season, Respawn has taken a lot of the criticism of season 1 to heart and made improvements that many players were hoping for:
Capcom has unexpectedly announced a beta test for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne exclusively for the PS4. Only players with a PS Plus subscription will be able to enjoy it.
What is going on with MHW: Iceborne? Capcom has announced the start date of the first beta tests for the Iceborne expansion.
The tests will take place on the next two weekends:
From June 21 to June 24
And from June 28 to July 1
The start and end of the test are both at 12 PM noon our time.
Who can participate in the beta? The beta tests are exclusively for the PS4. Starting June 21, only players with an active PS Plus subscription will be able to test the beta. From June 28, everyone will be able to join in.
Where can I download the beta? The Iceborne beta can now be downloaded from the PS Store. Just search for “Iceborne” and add it to your shopping cart.
However, you do not need to own the base game to participate in the beta. Get it from the PS Store and as long as you have a PS+ subscription, you can play.
What are the contents of the beta? The beta appears to be identical to the one that visitors of E3 2019 could try out. There are three hunting quests where you can fight the following monsters:
You will have all kinds of weapons available to you. Additionally, in the E3 demo, you could also test the “Clutch Claw” mechanic, which allows you to pull yourself towards the monsters and cling to them.
Other platforms will have to wait a little longer.
Since Title Update 4, the new specialization – the Gunner – is available in The Division 2. However, not everyone is pleased with the marksman. Particularly the unlock process has sparked some heated debates.
What is the deal with the marksman? The marksman, or the Gunner, is the first post-launch specialization in The Division 2, essentially representing the 4th class of the game. It was recently introduced with the Title Update 4.
Why the debates? Although some are excited about the marksman and are already playing it, not everyone is satisfied with the new Gunner. The issue lies in the way the new specialization is unlocked.
While Year Pass holders have immediate access to the new specialization, all other players need to put in considerable effort to unlock the marksman at all.
For them, the Gunner is tied to a wide range of different tasks that will likely require a significant amount of time and effort. For owners of the Year-1-Pass, however, the quest line is purely optional; they only receive some additional cosmetics from it.
What do the fans say? This “division” is currently being discussed by many fans – even here with us at MeinMMO.
Numerous players are annoyed and feel that Massive has significantly exaggerated the requirements for unlocking the new class.
Some even go so far as to say that Massive deliberately designed the grind to be overly tough to push more players to buy the Year Pass. Because this way, the specialization is available immediately, and all the annoying grind is spared. And that’s exactly what some players have claimed to be doing.
Even some Year-1-Pass holders say it has “paid off” for that reason alone. Because they wouldn’t want to endure that annoying grind otherwise. In general, many agents without a Year Pass believe that given the effort, they won’t even attempt to unlock the new specialization.
Some were looking forward to it, but see no reason to return to The Division 2 under these circumstances, as there is otherwise no truly new content.
Others, on the other hand, do not understand the critics’ objections and are looking forward to the challenges associated with unlocking the Gunner. They find them to be well-designed, relatively easy to master, and offering enough incentives to tackle them.
What do you think about the whole thing? Are the requirements for unlocking the marksman acceptable? Or do you think Massive has clearly gone overboard as well? Are you playing the Gunner? Or are you leaving the new specialization aside?
At the end of the lava flow lies the sought tunnel
Fortbyte #12: With spray motif Nana Nana in a melted tunnel
Where is the Fortbyte located? As a prerequisite, you first need the spray motif Nana Nana. You get it in the Battle Pass at level 57. Select it and then start the round.
Fly towards the volcano and the lava. The lava flow ends exactly at the sought place, in the tunnel. Enter the tunnel and on the right side you will find the Fortbyte. Then use the spray and the byte belongs to you.
In this tunnel lies the Fortbyte
Watch out for the surroundings: As with every Fortbyte, it also applies here: There are often campers lurking at these places, looking to pick up easy kills. So don’t get caught!
Is there a video? We will embed a video here that shows the exact location. This way you cannot overlook the byte.

Patch 8.2 is the next major update of World of Warcraft. We have compiled all the information for you so that you are ready for the patch.
After the developers presented Patch 8.2 of World of Warcraft in a stream, a lot of information has been pouring in. After all, Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara is packed with content and is likely to be one of the largest content updates in the history of WoW.
In addition to two new zones, there are numerous changes to the game mechanics and enough content to hopefully keep players entertained for several weeks.
This article will be updated regularly over the coming weeks and months as new information about Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara is released.
Update: The article was last updated on 20.06.2019.
The new areas Nazjatar and Mechagon
Patch 8.2 brings two new areas that players can explore to their heart’s content. In addition to the Naga area of Nazjatar, located in an exposed cave complex deep in the sea, there is the technological city of Mechagon, where crazy gnomes do even crazier gnome things.
What we know about Nazjatar
At the heart of the patch is the new area Nazjatar. This is where players land after the Horde sails out to fulfill one of Sylvanas’s plans. The Alliance begins to pursue them. However, both sides are surprised when the sea suddenly opens up, causing the ships to plunge into the depths.
At the same time, players encounter the Mechagnomes waiting in Mechagon. In this new area, a mad robot attempts to transform all living beings into machines as well. The area itself bears similarities to the Timeless Isle, offering many rare spawns and small puzzles – for example, a rare mob does not take damage and requires a trick. Additionally, players can create their own trinkets tailored to their character’s preferences.
Rise of Azshara is also Blizzard’s first real opportunity to respond to the criticism of the launch of Battle for Azeroth. This means that there will be many changes to existing game mechanics and systems. Especially, the Heart of Azeroth receives some truly powerful new abilities.
The trinket Heart of Azeroth had not held a good standing with players so far, as it was simply boring and posed a barrier for new Azerite traits. However, with Patch 8.2 this is becoming a thing of the past.
The most important new feature is the introduction of a new active ability that players can choose at will. There are several abilities to choose from, each existing in different strengths. Those who want the best abilities will have to play a lot or be among the best players. The final upgrade is purely cosmetic and creates an imposing effect.
Moreover, Azerite traits can now be unlocked immediately in armor pieces. Long farming of artifact power is omitted for these abilities.
Flying and mounts in Patch 8.2
With Patch 8.2, players in Battle for Azeroth will finally be able to unlock flying again. To do this, it will be necessary to complete the achievement “Pathfinder of Battle for Azeroth, Part 2.” This won’t take long, average players will need only two to three weeks for it.
Major patches also bring many updates to the classes. The first changes can be seen here. Rogues receive a few nerfs while Demon Hunters come out ahead.
More war campaign, more story
With Patch 8.2, there are, of course, also a lot of new quests and stories to be told in World of Warcraft. For example, it became known that dragons will play an important role again.
Are you looking forward to Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara?

With Teamfight Tactics, the MOBA giant League of Legends now also has an auto chess clone. Currently, it is only playable on the test server. MeinMMO reveals how you can sign up for the PBE, the free download, and play Teamfight Tactics.
What is Teamfight Tactics? Teamfight Tactics is Riot’s approach to enter the current hype around autobattlers with LoL. The wave was started by the Dota2 mod “Auto Chess” in January 2019.
In autobattlers, you assemble your own team of heroes that you can buy and reposition each round. Then they fight an opposing team in automatically executing battles:
Since the hype, the developer of the mod has become independent and is working with Epic on the standalone version.
Valve, the creators of Dota 2, are also working on their own version of Auto Chess with Dota Underlords.
Teamfight Tactics is now the LoL version of the success formula.

Teamfight Tactics: Everything about the PBE download for EUW
How do I download Teamfight Tactics? Currently, Teamfight Tactics is still in testing. Therefore, it is only playable on LoL’s beta server, the PBE (Public Beta Environment).
However, for the PBE, you need a separate account. To create one, visit the official PBE page of LoL. You must fulfill some requirements:
Your main account must not have been banned or penalized at any time
You must have received at least Honor Level 3
You obtain honor levels by playing League of Legends. Those who behave positively may get some support from their teammates and thus rank up in honor levels faster.
This ensures that only players who genuinely want to test can access the PBE.
As of June 25, Teamfight Tactics will likely be officially released.
Can I play Teamfight Tactics in German? Yes. If you download the PBE in German, Teamfight Tactics (“Tactical Teamfight”) is also in German.
Is Teamfight Tactics available for Mac? Yes. When selecting the PBE download, you can choose between Windows and Mac.
How do I start the game? If you were able to create an account for the PBE, you still need to download an additional client. The PBE cannot be started via the normal LoL client.
With the launch of the autumn expansion Shadowkeep (Season of Shadows) for Destiny 2, the in-game shop Eververse is undergoing a massive overhaul. Bungie has now provided a first glimpse of the upcoming changes in a dedicated blog.
What is the Eververse anyway? The Eververse essentially represents the in-game shop of Destiny 2. Players can purchase various cosmetic items for their Guardians from the vendor Tess Everis – either using the in-game currency Silver Dust or for real money currency Silver.
Additionally, players can decode the Silver Engrams earned through progress, allowing most Eververse items to be obtained randomly.
What are the changes about? Recently, Bungie made some changes to the Eververse during Season 7 and gave the in-game shop of Destiny 2 a new look.
However, according to Destiny Franchise Director Luke Smith, this was just the beginning. With the launch of the Shadowkeep expansion on October 1, further radical changes for the Eververse are on the way.
This is how the Eververse will change with Season of Shadows in autumn
The focus of the changes is primarily on armor and the economy of the shop. The following specific changes are expected:
Transmog system for Eververse armor
This is how it is now: Currently, the Eververse offers a variety of cool armor sets for all Guardian classes. However, many of these have useless perks. This was previously intentional by the developers, as they wanted players to earn the best perks and combinations through gameplay, not from Tess’s shop. However, this is set to change radically.
This is how it will be from autumn: Starting in October, Destiny 2 will grant players unprecedented freedoms in customizing their Guardians. Not only will Armor 2.0 completely overhaul the existing armor system of Destiny 2 – a kind of transmog system for all Eververse armor pieces will also be introduced.
With the transmog system, players can apply the appearance of a specific item with the look of their choice. The appearance can then come from any Eververse armor piece of the same category that the player has already found.
Starting from September 17, all Eververse armors will be converted into universal ornaments. These ornaments can then be applied to all legendary armor pieces that Bungie will release this autumn.
With these ornaments, the look of the corresponding legendary armor will be changed, while perks, mods, and the stats of the original item will remain intact.
For all new armor pieces from the Eververse as well as for all that you have already earned and included in your collection, this transmog function will be automatically unlocked. You will then be able to use it immediately on all new legendary armor pieces as ornaments.
This is changing with Silver – the in-game currency of the Eververse: With Silver, you can specifically purchase numerous selected items in Tess Everis’s shop.
To obtain Silver, players must either complete special Eververse bounties (which yield very little) or dismantle everything from Silver Engrams that they don’t particularly want. The engrams can be purchased for real money or earned through gameplay.
However, Bungie wants all Guardians to earn this currency through gameplay in the future, rather than spending real money and simply dismantling as many Eververse items as possible. This is set to change in autumn.
From then on, Silver will only be available through gameplay. In addition to the Eververse bounties, this currency will also be a reward from Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit loot.
This is changing with the collections: Furthermore, you will no longer have to pay Silver when pulling an Eververse item from the collection. Starting with Shadowkeep, it will only cost Glimmer and Legendary Shards.
This is changing with dismantling Eververse items: Since you will no longer need Silver to pull Eververse items from collections, there will be no Silver gained when dismantling shop items, only Glimmer and Legendary Shards instead. So if you still have Eververse items that you don’t necessarily need – dismantle them! This way you will have more dust that you can then spend starting from September 17 on cool new things.
What do you think of these changes? Let us know in the comments!
The release of Wizards Unite is approaching, and it could also be interesting for Pokémon GO. Players are already speculating about what event to expect at the release.
Is an event conceivable? In November 2018, Ingress Prime was released by Niantic. Accordingly, an event was held in Pokémon GO, featuring Shiny Ponita and Tragosso.
Now the release of Wizards Unite is imminent. It’s only logical that celebrations would begin in Pokémon GO as well. But what could await us?
These Shinys could come soon, according to players
Abra could come with the release of Wizards Unite. After all, Abra is a Pokémon that possesses “magical powers.” For example, it can teleport in the console games. There couldn’t be a better Pokémon for a wizard game.
Shinys for every Hogwarts house? In the Harry Potter saga, there were four different houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each of the houses also has a crest animal.
This is what the crests of the 4 houses look like
Some fans now suspect that a suitable Pokémon for each crest animal could come into the game. We show you the players’ speculations:
Gryffindor has a lion as its crest animal: Shiny Fukano would fit
Hufflepuff has a badger as its crest animal: Shiny Wiesor would fit
Ravenclaw has a raven as its crest animal: Shiny Kramurx would fit
Slytherin has a snake as its crest animal: Shiny Rettan would fit
Shiny Fukano and Kramurx are already in the game. They could appear more frequently during the event. An alternative to the two Pokémon would be Frizelbliz and Hoothoot. They do not yet exist as Shiny but wouldn’t fit as well.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the challenges from week 7 of season 9 are now available. We will show you how to complete all challenges.
The tasks for week 7 of season 9 are now live in the game, and you can complete them.
Free and paid: As usual, you need the Battle Pass of Season 9 for 950 V-Bucks (9.50 Euros) to complete all 7 challenges of the week. If you do not own the pass, only 3 free challenges from week 7 will be available to you.
All Challenges from Week 7 in Season 9

10 Stars/1,000 XP
Eliminations from a maximum distance of 5 meters (3 kills)
10 Stars/1,000 XP
Search 7 chests at Junk Junction or Neo Tilted
How to complete the task: This task is very easy to complete. Just go to one of the two locations and search for chests there. It’s best to complete the task when one of the locations is remote, so you will encounter fewer opponents.
Find 7 ammo boxes at locations with different names
How to complete the task: Similar to the chests, you can find ammo boxes almost everywhere on the map. You do not even need to visit a specific location, which makes the task even easier. Just loot diligently everywhere and the task will be completed automatically.
Eliminate opponents with a suppressed weapon
How to complete the task: You might have some difficulties here, as there are currently only 3 suppressed weapons: a pistol, an assault rifle, and a sniper rifle.
However, if you find one of these weapons, you should be able to complete the task easily, as you only need to eliminate 3 opponents.
Deal damage to opponents while in a vehicle (Battle Pass only)
How to complete the task: If you are playing alone, you should be able to complete the task best with the Driftboard. Use it to deal at least 200 damage to opponents.
If you are playing with friends, you can also deal good damage as a passenger. However, this should be difficult as the driver.
Visit 2 locations in a single match (Battle Pass only)
How to complete the task: This challenge can be completed quickly, as you just need to visit the locations in a single match. There are 3 stages with 6 different locations.
Consider using a rift or similar to get from A to B faster.
You need to visit Neo Tilted for the task
Search a chest and use a vending machine as well as a campfire during a match (Battle Pass only)
How to complete the tasks: Finding a chest shouldn’t be a problem. You can also combine this with another challenge. You can find vending machines at many locations in the game. They don’t cost any materials, so you shouldn’t have any problems here.
The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is currently still in the PR phase. In a new blog post, the Art Director raves about the photorealistic graphics through the new engine and explains how they designed 3 multiplayer characters, the Operators, in a realistic manner.
At this stage, Modern Warfare is currently: We are still in the phase where the developers Infinity Ward and publisher Activision Blizzard completely control the information about the game.
So we are in the hype phase, where all information comes relatively unfiltered from the studio itself. They are naturally trying to portray the game in the best possible light.
Essentially, they take a lot of photos of “things in the real world” and bring them into the game to achieve photorealism – the technique is called photogrammetry.
Many outdoor shoots were necessary, where they photographed “trash” or “rubble” to make it look “real in the game.”.
Drones were also used – they need all the details.
When the environment was realistic, Infinity Ward invested a lot of time to make the characters look realistic too – otherwise, it would have looked terrible.
Infinity Ward held a casting to find an employee they could then dress as a corpse and place in the game.
Operator selection as realistic as possible
Here’s what it’s all about with the operators: In the multiplayer mode of Modern Warfare, the playable characters are called Operators. They look different but do not differ in their abilities – just like skins in Fortnite. Operators are purely cosmetic.
Emslie explains that they looked for military uniforms and obtained them. The poses and equipment of the operators were recorded in a dedicated “prop house” with a lot of effort.
They would have moved the whole studio into the house, procured props, and dressed up. Everything should feel realistic. The characters would not be in a black room or in some crappy environment, but as real as possible.
In the character selection screen, players can later zoom in and take a closer look at the details.
Emslie highlights these 3 operators:
Grind wears a full “ghillie suit,” a camouflage outfit. Emslie originally wanted to make it himself, just like the original suit, he says, but a character artist created such a good concept that they preferred to use that.
Zane has a kind of cape that hangs over the operator’s armor. It is a tactical poncho that Emslie saw years ago and knew he wanted it in a game one day.
Krueger, in turn, uses a “frogman” camouflage, a net that covers his face and shoulders. This design has been sought after for a long time and now they have “got it right.”.
Since the 2017 Star Wars Battlefront 2 loot boxes have come under fire. EA fully relies on the mechanic, especially in lucrative sports titles like FIFA 19. In a hearing, EA defends the boxes as “surprise mechanics,” which are “quite ethical” and compares loot boxes to surprise eggs.
This is the situation: Electronic Arts has long relied on loot boxes in sports titles like FIFA 19 or Madden. In “Ultimate Team,” players buy boxes with a chance to randomly acquire strong players and build their teams with these cards.
The “Ultimate Team” is a science in itself with dozens of special cards based on the performance of actual players. Gamers invest significant amounts.
It caused an uproar when EA transferred a loot box system to “Star Wars Battlefront 2.” This initiated a shitstorm that became so massive that governments began to address the phenomenon.
Because if loot boxes are indeed gambling, they would need to be regulated much more strictly – as recently seen in Belgium.
Now representatives from EA (FIFA 19, Star Wars Battlefront 2) and Epic (Fortnite) have been called before a British parliamentary committee.
Who is speaking? It is Kerry Hopkins, the Vice President at EA for legal and government affairs. She had an oral hearing before a committee of the British Parliament for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
“People enjoy it”
This is what EA says: Hopkins insisted that the products in question are not loot boxes but “surprise mechanics.” She compared this mechanic to items that have been sold in stores for years, like surprise eggs.
When asked, Hopkins replied: “We believe that the way we have implemented this mechanic is quite ethical and quite fun, people enjoy this mechanic quite a lot.”
This formulation from Hopkins is currently being discussed in the gaming world.
Hopkins said: “The card packs, the surprise – that is fun for people. They enjoy earning the packs, opening them, building their teams, and trading players.”
Hopkins particularly highlighted FIFA, “our FIFA Ultimate Team and the packs.”
At EA, they agree with the gambling committees of the UK and Australia in their assessment that this is not gambling.
They do not agree with the idea that it could lead to gambling. The mechanic is like many others, people use it joyfully and in a healthy manner.
EA does not agree with the idea that games are addictive. Electronic Arts is a company with a high sense of responsibility.
Something like the grand prize
This is how the committee reacted: The committee focused mainly on detail questions about how the games and mechanics actually work.
According to Kotaku, committee members also attempted to establish a link between EA and real-money trading, but EA rejected this. They stated that the “bad people” committing such acts are the problem, not the loot boxes and the systems.
Additionally, Fortnite: Battle Royale relies on a system where items can be purchased directly and without loot boxes.
Epic stated that they are not interested in maximizing profit in the short term, but rather want to design microtransactions generously and focus on long-term income.
Both EA and Epic state they do not work with psychologists or behavioral researchers to assess the mental state of their players.
Big topic on reddit
How gamers are discussing the matter: On reddit the hearing is currently the topic of the hour. Here they say:
The politicians asking questions are obviously not knowledgeable about the topic.
Epic has proven to be particularly “helpful” and gave almost no information.
Both sides emphasized that they do not track how long players spend on their games – which is generally considered “ridiculous” on reddit.
Some reddit users find the situation rather silly and are amused by Epic’s responses – another part takes it quite seriously and believes it would be the beginning of stronger regulation.
There are developers who do not like to see others “copying” their games or getting inspired by them. The developers of Monster Hunter World see it differently.
What do the MHW developers say? In an interview with Kotaku, the developers of Monster Hunter: World commented on games that adopt many aspects and systems from Monster Hunter.
The director Kaname Fujioka said:
I am absolutely happy and proud that our game has become big enough that other people get inspired by it and create their own games.
According to Fujioka, all developers have been influenced by the games they played. It is definitely not something he is angry or upset about, said the director. A lawsuit over copyright, as in the case of PUBG vs. Fortnite, is therefore out of the question.
In the past, it has happened several times that after the success of Monster Hunter in Japan, games have appeared that use the same basic idea. This includes titles like God Eater or Soul Sacrifice.
It is therefore not surprising that after the great success of Monster Hunter: World in the West, even more developers are getting inspired by the concept of the game.
This is Dauntless: The free-to-play game from Phoenix Labs shares many core mechanics with Monster Hunter:
You hunt large monsters in the game.
You obtain resources from these monsters to craft new equipment.
Monsters have various resistances and weaknesses that can be exploited.
Fights require longer preparation.
Of course, Dauntless is not an absolute “copy” of Monster Hunter: World, as is often the case with Chinese clones of popular games.
The graphic style of Dauntless differs drastically from the style in Monster Hunter World.
The combos and attacks of the weapons in Dauntless are somewhat more agile, while in Monster Hunter World they are mostly sluggish.
The monsters in Dauntless often possess “magical” attacks, utilizing the power of shadows and darkness.
However, the similarities between the two games are noticeable at first glance in videos, which does not bother the MHW developers much.
The latest patch in Overwatch has buffed some heroes. Two of them are now so strong together that they can cause significant problems for their opponents.
Which heroes are we talking about? Baptiste and McCree. The combination of these two heroes currently has immense firepower. This is due to their buffs in the patch from June 18, 2019:
McCree’s shots now have a cooldown of 0.42 seconds, instead of 0.5 as before
Once again, McCree has received a buff that brings him into the spotlight. Back in March, there was a PTR patch that made his Ultimate so strong that he could kill players behind full shields.
What makes them so strong together? The current combination of these two heroes is so powerful because McCree can fire more shots through the Amplification Matrix due to the adjustment.
The faster rate of fire alone already results in a significantly greater damage output. It had previously been tested on the PTR in May with a reduction to 0.4 seconds. Even then, there was already talk of McCree’s strength.
Because Baptiste now also maintains his Matrix longer, McCree can fire more amplified shots. Especially in situations where dodging is hardly possible, this is deadly for opponents. A short clip demonstrates this:

What can I do against it? The easiest way to avoid the hail of bullets is to wait. Just wait until the Matrix has expired and only attack again after the ten seconds. Use the time to regroup.
Alternatively, you can avoid the areas that the Matrix and McCree can effectively cover. Avoid these areas if possible, or just wait it out.
In the community, there is the opinion that this new buff is intended to make Baptiste’s ultimate finally taken seriously. Previously, it was often ignored by opponents, even though it meant their defeat. Now, it poses a more obvious threat.
A different threat, and a much larger one at the moment, is a hamster:
In The Division 2, the developers say they anticipated the players’ criticism, especially regarding the lack of content and how The Division 2 becomes boring. Massive has prepared for the fact that players would be dissatisfied after the launch phase. They have a plan on how to respond.
Who’s speaking? It’s Yannick Bancherau, the Live Content Manager of The Division 2, speaking in an interview with Kotaku.
This is why Massive knew criticism would come: He says, “When we received very positive feedback at launch, we knew that the moment would come when the honeymoon was over. People would start to scratch the surface.”
Bancherau further states, “We knew all the time, no matter how well we prepare and design The Division 2, people will play it differently and exhaust the game in a way that we cannot simulate. They will find things that need improvement.”
This is how Massive has prepared for the criticism: Bancherau says the team learned a lot from The Division 1, especially from the difficult time before Patch 1.4. At that time, everything was an “emergency” and the community put a lot of pressure on the team.
Before the release of The Division 2, Massive:
had already allocated resources to make changes
given more time and higher priority to processing feedback
learned from Part 1 that content should be better divided and tried to cater to all types of players – they want to offer something for exploratory players with the Expeditions
However, they do not want to balance differently for PC and consoles.
The Division 2 on the right track
This is how Massive sees the situation: Overall, Bancherau believes they are on the right track with The Division 2: “We have a pretty good idea of what players want, and a lot of the things we want to do with the game overlap there. Now it’s just about putting in the effort to adjust things.”
In the interview, Massive also talks about the new Expeditions. They should provide something for players who enjoy exploration and puzzles.
The new game from Riot Games, Teamfight Tactics, is a kind of “LoL Auto Chess” and currently the number 1 on Twitch. This attracts a lot of high-profile gamers from League of Legends, and they have their tricks. In the RNG-heavy game, a streamer relied fully on half-dragon Shyvana, combining her with items and other champions, and was rewarded.
What kind of strange game is Teamfight Tactics? Teamfight Tactics is Riot’s response to a trend started by a mod for “DOTA 2”: DOTA Auto Chess.
The basic flow of Teamfight Tactics is as follows:
Players buy “heroes” – there are 50 different ones, all with different special abilities and gimmicks. In Teamfight Tactics, players can choose from a pool of 5 random heroes per round – that’s the “draft.”
These heroes can be combined with other heroes or copies of themselves when placed on the board – creating synergy effects.
Players then place these heroes on their side of the board.
Each round, the heroes fight automatically against each other. The winner inflicts damage on the opponent’s avatar.
There are also intermediary rounds where players fight against monsters in neutral battles; here they can find items.
Items and other champs create powerful Shyvana combo
A pro has already found the killer strategy: The player and Twitch streamer William “Scarra” Li, formerly with Team Dignitas, was one of the first to play the new Teamfight Tactics and stumbled upon a recipe for success.
He fully relies on half-dragon Shyvana, giving her two “Guinsoo’s Rageblades” to increase her attack speed and Bloodthirster for life steal. He also combines her with other figures (dragons and shapeshifters) so that she becomes immune to magic damage and gains double health points once in dragon form.
This causes the match to initially look like Scarra is losing the game, but then Shyvana completely goes berserk and demolishes the enemies. The longer the fight lasts, the stronger she becomes.

This seems to be the allure of Teamfight Tactics: Currently, Teamfight Tactics has only been playable for 2 days. Everything is still up in the air, and the countless combinations of RNG heroes and items create a chaotic appeal.
It will be an exciting challenge for Riot to maintain balance in Teamfight Tactics.
A first balance patch has already been released, buffing the too weak Blitzcrank and Gankplank and slightly nerfing Darius.
At the moment, the game is still in beta, but that could change as early as next week.
In Fortnite there is now the game mode “Prop Hunt”. There you can camouflage and hide as any object or find these objects as a hunter.
What is Prop Hunt? You can currently find this mode on a creator island. An own game world has been created that revolves around this mode.
There are 2 teams, one hides and the others search. When hiding, you can turn into any object on the map. So you can run around as a toilet, rubber duck, or toy dinosaur.
Prop Hunt in Fortnite – How to join
How do I participate? To land on the Prop Hunt island, you need to enter the following code at the creative mode islands: 6069-9263-9110

How to find enough players: Many players have the problem of not having enough friends to play Prop Hunt on the creator island, as it’s only possible with acquaintances.
However, if you go to the playground, you’ll find enough players to play Prop Hunt with.
How do you win? As a hidden player, you can not only turn into any object but also move with it and collect coins. Each coin earns one point.
If a seeker finds and eliminates a player, they also earn a point. The player with the most points at the end wins the match.
What does the map look like? It is a completely independent island where you play. There are several houses and, above all, numerous small objects into which you can transform.

This is how seekers get help: Those who search receive Boogie Bombs. If a hidden player is hit with one, they will dance and be revealed.
Additionally, there is a sound emitted by hidden players at regular intervals. This lets seekers know where to look.
How long will this mode last? Currently, it is only available on the creator islands. How long this mode will be available there is unknown. However, Prop Hunt is popular among many players, so it could also soon come to the game as a type of LTM.
How is the mode received by fans? Many players have a lot of fun with the mode. It is something completely different compared to Battle Royale, and players on Reddit see it as a nice change:
CTG27: “Why don’t they make Prop Hunt a main game in the lobby??”
ItsBlitz21: “Bring Prop Hunt as LTM! You could have multiple maps to choose from, between which players could choose every round.”
On the right map of Fortnite, there is currently a lot going on:
A “Developer Insight” video about World of Warcraft has received positive feedback. Many now see Game Director Ion Hazzikostas in a different light.
Why is Hazzikostas unpopular with many? When it comes to individual game mechanics or general ideas behind design decisions in World of Warcraft, Game Director Ion Hazzikostas is usually present.
In his “Developer Q&A” videos, he often answered questions without providing a truly concrete answer. This met with a lot of negative feedback from fans and contributed to a negative reputation that Hazzikostas has built up over time.

In recent years, Hazzikostas has often been perceived as arrogant, and it has been frequently criticized that “his time as a lawyer would be noticeable”. For many players, he often provided no concrete answers, dodged questions, or offered explanations that many players found absurd.
However, the blame probably lies primarily with the format. In a Q&A that is (at least in parts) not scripted, it is difficult to provide reliable statements. Clear answers to “How do you solve Problem X?” are hard to give when that hasn’t even been discussed with the team yet. Therefore, it always seemed as though each Q&A had about 3 “treats” for the players that had long been discussed, planned, and internally implemented by the team.
A proper dialogue never took place.
The Q&A sessions were hardly appreciated by fans. There was almost only general information.
What made the Developer Insight so likeable
Hazzikostas is now gaining points: The “Developer Insight” video from a few days ago is a special case when looking at Blizzard’s past. After all, it was the day the release of Patch 8.2 was announced.
Such days are usually “celebrated” by Blizzard, allowing for only a few discussions or negative moods. Nevertheless, at the same time, they released a video where the Game Director confronts many uncomfortable topics.
Even though he gestures and waves his arms as if he had eaten a Rezo for breakfast, he addresses many of the community’s criticisms and agrees with them.
He even admits that the team has strayed too much from the visions for the individual classes and has instead focused too much on the individual specializations. He acknowledges that too many abilities have been removed that were particularly fun or interesting.
He even partially agrees that catch-up mechanics were too powerful and devalued much of what players had earned in the previous weeks and months.
However, Hazzikostas does not only concede, he also provides answers that are uncomfortable and will likely upset a large part of the player base. He and the team apparently find it perfectly fine that some of the best PvP items come from raids. After all, it is an RPG with a large world and numerous content. If someone wants the optimum in a particular situation, they should also take on additional effort. Perhaps they might even develop a strong interest in other game systems.
I honestly had the impression that Hazzikostas seemed relatively stressed yet passionate in the video. This impression is shared by the comments under the video. Most commentators believe that this “Developer Insight” format is much more sensible and better than the rather odd Q&A sessions.
Many fans wish for more such videos.
The Developer Insight has definitely helped present a controversially discussed figure like Hazzikostas in a better light. Whether words will now be followed by actions remains to be seen.
Or do you perceive it quite differently?

With the GO Fest of Pokémon GO, the mysterious Pokémon Jirachi came into the game. It will soon also come to Germany. But what can this Pokémon actually do?
Once all GO Fests are completed in August, there will certainly be a worldwide special research involving Jirachi. Until then, one must be patient.
Jirachi in Pokémon GO – Is this Pokémon worth it?
What are Jirachi’s stats? To assess the strength of the Pokémon, we first provide an overview of its stats:
Attack: 210
Defense: 210
HP: 225
Maximum CP: 3265
Jirachi was previously only available in a special research in Chicago
What attacks does it learn? Jirachi has the strong Steel-type attack Wish. Here you can see all attacks in summary:
Fast Attacks: Confusion, Charge Beam
Charge Attacks: Wish, Psychic, Magic Shine
What do the stats indicate? Based purely on stats, Jirachi is a solid Pokémon. Its attack stat is unfortunately a bit weaker, compared to opponents, which is why it cannot really compete here.
Another disadvantage is its attacks. Wish is indeed a strong attack, but it does not have a Fast Steel-type attack, which is why it cannot deal much damage.
Metagross is a significantly better Steel attacker
Is Jirachi useful? The mysterious Pokémon makes a good first impression, but behind the facade, it doesn’t look as good. If it ever learns a Fast Steel-type attack, it could become more useful, but so far it is not really good.
However, this also has its benefits: One doesn’t get too upset when still waiting for Jirachi. After all, you miss nothing if you don’t have it.
