Dusty Depot

Weapons that meet one or more of these criteria automatically fall into the category “Dad Loadout”. In Destiny 2, there are currently a handful of weapons that can be classified as “Dad weapons”.
What kind of loadout is this? In the primary slot, there are some pulse rifles that are Dad weapons. Pulse rifles have always been strong, usually have good range, and forgive body shots that were actually intended as headshots due to their burst fire.
The legendary pulse rifles that scream Dad the most are the Last Breath and the Monarchy. Anyone who has played Gambit even a little since Forsaken probably already has one or two Last Breaths in their inventory. If you’ve reset Gambit a few times, the Drifter even gives you one with a fantastic roll.

Also, redeeming Rattata and Zubat is now more worthwhile. You already get 500 Stardust from the Rocket fight and only need to invest another 500 dust. This is especially advantageous for the Redeemer medal, as you have to redeem a total of 500 Pokémon for gold.
What has also changed: If you want to redeem evolutions of Cryptos, they now cost the same as their pre-evolution. Previously, the evolutions were more expensive.
What has stayed the same: The costs of candies have remained the same. So you don’t save here. Likewise, the costs for leveling up remain unchanged.
For the redeemed Pokémon, nothing has changed either. Here you still have to pay as much Stardust and candies as before.
That’s why it’s worth redeeming Pokémon: If you have a Crypto Pokémon with good IVs, you should redeem it. After redeeming, it is at level 25 and you save Stardust. If you instead power up a normal Pokémon, it costs significantly more dust.
