A new raid called Vault 94 is coming soon in the online game Fallout 76. A player wants to help you find good groups for the challenge with a clever idea.
What is Vault 94? Bethesda wants to provide you with new group content and will soon open Vault 94. This offers groups of four players the opportunity to explore its secrets in a raid and gain valuable loot.
In the story of Fallout 76, the Vault opened its doors in 2078, just a year after the Great War, to send missionaries into the world. However, shortly after, the G.E.C.K. fusion generator failed, resulting in the entire bunker being contaminated with radioactivity. Allegedly, all residents died.
After an explosion, a radioactive cloud settled over the area, leading to unusual plant growth. Now, the heroes of Appalachia can explore this Vault after many years. And you are supposed to find out what is happening there in a raid.

Fallout 76 does not have matchmaking
When does the Vault open? From August 20, you can explore the depths of the bunker with three friends in a challenging raid.
What is the problem? There is no official “Looking for Group” tool that allows you to quickly and conveniently find players for the raid.
What idea did a player have? To avoid loitering around the Vault waiting for players, a fan of Fallout 76 is planning to create his own group finder.
Right outside Vault 76, “SouthBeachSarcastic” has created a place where players can meet and exchange ideas. It is supposed to be easier to find raid partners, talk about adventures in the bunker, and trade with each other.
This is meant to minimize the chaos in front of the Vault, where everyone is just trying to find a group and get started. “SouthBeachSarcastic” wants to create a peaceful and social place where you can prepare before the raid and then exchange afterwards. You will find in the “Raid Base” Agora among other things:
Is the base available everywhere? No. The raid base can only be found on the server where the player “SouthBeachSarcastic” is active. He plays under the name Austinjv60 on PC.

The streaming service Twitch has banned the streamer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who is considered one of the best players in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the world. He himself considers the ban to be a mistake. What was for him a “joking around with friends” is, however, considered by Twitch to be a hateful behavior.
What was s1mple banned for? The streamer Oleksandr Kostyliev (21) himself announced the ban from Twitch via Twitter. The ban is for “Engaging in hateful conduct against a person or group of people” – he is said to have directed hate against a person or a group of people.
Twitch does not specify the exact incident in the ban.
The streamer himself believes it is related to what he said to his teammate Boombl4 two weeks prior.
In a match on July 29, s1mple referred to his friend using the Russian term “Pidor”, which means “faggot” in German. It is a derivation of “Pädo”, meaning someone who preys on children.
This is the problem: In the situation, it was clear that the use of the term was meant as joking among friends.
Twitch does not make this distinction, but has banned the player for using the slur.

Interestingly, the community was already mocking the incident as it happened. Someone from the scene, in which s1mple insulted his friend, had created a meme two weeks ago saying he would surely be banned by Twitch for this remark. That is exactly what happened.
S1mple says: “Twitch is a joke” and ironically apologizes to his friend for “so much hate.”
Who is s1mple? s1mple plays AWP, that is Sniper, for the team “Natus Vincere.” He has been a professional since 2013 and made a name for himself early on. He frequently appears in rankings for Player of the Year for CS:GO and was ranked first in 2018.

Epic Games states that they will never offer a skin from a Battle Pass for individual purchase in the shop.
The problem for some players was that the dogs looked so similar. There was fear that Epic Games would easily change the colors of skins from the Battle Pass in the future to then offer them in the shop and keep their word.
As noted by Reddit user Alphasilverhawk, it is the first time that an item offered in the shop has been completely removed from the game.
In the comments on Reddit, players praise how quickly the developers addressed this issue. However, they point out that the mechs should also be looked at more closely. Many players are still unhappy with them despite the changes in Patch 10.10 of Fortnite.
Recently, more and more players in The Division 2 have been reporting that they frequently switch clans to get better gear. What is behind this and why does it seem more attractive to many than farming for gear in the game?
Reasons to Join Clans: In The Division 2, players can organize themselves into clans. These offer various additional benefits, such as a dedicated social space or special rewards.
Another useful clan feature is the clan vendor. This vendor occasionally has some really good gear with top stats that can help you with your builds.
Why switch clans at all? The offerings from the clan vendor depend on the level of the clan. Therefore, players in a level 30 clan receive a different product range than, for example, in a clan at level 26.
The problem is: for clans at a lower level, the vendor sometimes has absolute must-haves with top stats that are unreachable for members of a max-level clan – unless they leave their clan and find a new one at a correspondingly lower level to get the desired item.
Why is this more attractive than farming for gear in the game? In a Reddit post, the user _Sense_ lamented this very phenomenon and explained that he no longer farms for gear in the game but primarily uses clan hopping to get better gear.
_Sense_ has already invested over 800 hours in the game, and so far, he has not found items with stats like +30% armor, over +1,000 skill power, or +15% weapon damage anywhere. But how does he get items with such top stats with good talents? By leaving his clan and seeking out a low-level clan vendor.
This process is already annoying enough every time – especially when almost all clan members do it. But it is still much easier than farming such gear by playing. And that is the problem. He would also prefer to farm, but in the 800 hours he has learned one thing – that he basically has no chance of getting such good stats in the game. Therefore, he collects as many pieces of top gear as possible and stocks them for future builds.
What do players say about this phenomenon? With his description, _Sense_ is apparently not alone – many players agree with him in the comments and through upvotes. The Division 2 definitely has a problem with loot. The fact that max-level clans receive worse items than lower-level clans is outrageous.
The developers have also repeatedly emphasized the endgame, but it should not just consist of running to the clan vendor and picking up good rolls there. It feels more like a shopping simulator.
Some also emphasize that this is not the only serious problem regarding loot. Some changes need to happen there. For some agents, the gear is basically secondary. Even without perfect builds, they can tackle and master every content of the game, regardless of what gear they have. The hunt for upgrades feels completely pointless in such a state.
Some fans who are generally interested in builds have also stated that they sometimes give up the hunt for better gear in frustration because there are simply too many values and parameters to consider, and the hunt is additionally complicated by the overly strong RNG.

On August 14, the major patch Beyond was released for the space game No Man’s Sky. However, there were delays in the PC version at release and also many bugs and crashes.

What does Armor 2.0 actually change? With the new armor system, essentially two goals are pursued:
More individuality – You no longer have to compromise between good looks and functionality in your armor. You can equip each armor piece with mods that grant bonuses.
More depth – The armor system will become more complex. New stats are introduced, and you will have more freedom in combining mods and bonuses.

This is the new mod system: Armor 2.0 is mainly about how you can customize your armor pieces with mods in the future. Each armor piece can be individually customized with three mod slots each. It looks like this:
This is the energy level: Each armor piece now has an energy level, which you can see in the image above the mods. It is random whether the armor has Solar, Arc, or Void energy (in the image, it’s Void energy).
You can upgrade the armor up to energy level 10. Each level costs you glimmer, legendary shards, and enhancement cores or “Enhancement Prism.” To reach level 10, an “Ascendant Shard” is also required, as you can see here:
Level 10 means you now have a masterwork armor that grants extra bonuses to all stats.
What does the energy level bring? You need a high energy level to equip more mods. Depending on the strength of the mod, it costs you different amounts of energy. In one of the images above, you see the improved sniper aiming, which costs a hefty 6 Void energy.
If you choose this mod, you still have 4 Void energy left in an optimized armor piece of energy level 10, which you can invest in up to two more mods.
Do mods also have a specific element? Yes, you have Arc mods, Solar mods, Void mods, and general mods. The general mods fit into any armor, while the elemental mods only fit into armor with the matching element.

All legendary armor pieces that can drop after the Shadowkeep release will have Armor 2.0. In other words, it is worth playing the old content again to obtain the armor you desire.
All Exotics will have Armor 2.0 when you obtain them after Shadowkeep. But even if you pull an Exotic from your collections, it will have Armor 2.0. The roll is fixed. Other rolls can only be obtained through random drops. Exotics will have their exotic perk and 3 mod slots.
Your majestic Solstice armor can receive an upgrade to Armor 2.0 from the gunsmith. He has a free upgrade package for you at the release of Shadowkeep:

If you slam a mod into an armor piece, the mod is not consumed. You can re-equip it anytime.
Mods are obtained from various sources. The gunsmith especially is said to randomly drop them through rank-up packages. He also sells them, but his offers rotate. In top activities like raids or the Iron Banner, you can also randomly get mods.
The various mods are spread across the different armor pieces. In the stream, it was seen that mods that improve aiming can be equipped on the helm, while mods that speed up reloading are for the gauntlets.
Equipping a mod costs 500 glimmer. You can remove it again and equip another one, which will also cost glimmer.
What about ornaments? The way you can customize the look of your armor is changing too. The armor that has previously come from the Eververse will become ornaments that you can apply to any armor piece:

Blizzard has clarified that a small but nice feature from World of Warcraft Classic will indeed be released. It was completely missing during the beta.
In a few days, it will finally happen, as World of Warcraft Classic launches and invites all players to explore the original version of Azeroth again. The beta test went on for many months, and even currently, there is still a small test active to thoroughly check the last features.
However, players miss one detail from WoW Classic, which they had loved during their “Vanilla” time – the keyring. It will be added later.
What were keys in WoW Classic? In Classic, there were many items that counted as keys. These were particularly necessary to take certain shortcuts in dungeons or to even enter the dungeon at all. For example, if you did not have the right key, you could not enter Scholomance or would be stopped by some doors in Blackrock Depths.

The announced major update Beyond for the space game No Man’s Sky is now available for PS4, Steam, and Xbox One. The patch notes are extensive, but players are excited about the new features.
What does the update include? The new patch has adjusted almost all areas of the game. This includes both technical and gameplay aspects.
The Beyond update is so large that it is also referred to as No Man’s Sky 2.0. The new entry into the game has also been revised, making a return worthwhile right now.

What do players particularly celebrate? Three minor “quality of life” changes in the patch notes have emerged as secret favorites among players.

Additionally, the inventory size per stack has increased from 250 to 10,000. However, this currently applies only to normal mode, not survival mode, but is certainly more than welcome for explorers.
Lastly, the mining speed has been increased. You are no longer interrupted as often, and the overheating mechanics have been revised.
Major technical adjustments

In Season 10 of Fortnite, you were unable to collect the two bonus stars from weeks 1 and 2. However, since patch 10.10, the bug has been fixed. Find out here where to find the secret stars for the bonus levels in the Battle Pass on the map.
This is why the stars are now available: In Season 10, the popular Battle Stars return. They grant a complete level in the Battle Pass. In Season 10, you can get them by completing the limited-time mission challenges released every week.

This changed today on August 14th with update 10.10. After the stars were present but did nothing, Epic has now finally fixed the issue.

What can be seen in the image? In the image from week 2, you see the aftermath of a wild shootout in the new western town Tilted Town. Here too, no star is visible, so searching in Tilted Town is useless.

What is Armor 2.0 actually?

Armor 2.0 is the new armor system that Shadowkeep introduces in Destiny 2 on October 1.
With this system, your armor pieces can be customized more individually and as desired.
Each armor piece can be equipped with many mods – including several new mods. You have several mod slots available per armor piece.
So you can finally wear the armor pieces that you like visually best – and not the ones that have the best bonuses. Because the armor pieces then serve as shells that you fill with mods that provide the bonuses. You no longer have to compromise between good looks and functionality.
The numbers seen on the bottom right of the upper image show how the mods affect the stats. So you probably get more information than before about how strong the bonuses are.
Armors will have a so-called energy system. This means that players will be able to charge or level up armor pieces, thereby increasing the mod capacity of the individual parts. Players should feel that they become more powerful as they develop their armor.
Along with the broader customization options, artifacts also play an important role. These are items that allow you to unlock various perks of different tiers and thus adapt your character to your preferred play style. They are, by the way, season-bound.
Thus, Armor 2.0 will likely be the most important innovation of Shadowkeep that will change the way you play Destiny 2.

In the online shooter Apex Legends, Twitch streamer Dennis “Cloak” Lepore was already celebrating his 1st victory. But that was a classic case of “celebrating too early.” Even while he was cheering, Cloak had to realize: His Wraith had fallen dead, and another player was crowned the winner.
This was the situation: Cloak is at the end of a match. There were only 2 players left:

His opponent was a Pathfinder, who seemed to be defeated
Cloak had already dealt significant damage to the opponent with his R-99 and was now going in for a finisher. Such a finishing move in Apex comes with a special animation and kills the opponent in style.
While Cloak relaxed and let the chat celebrate him as “the best player in the world,” the “Game Over” screen appeared, and a voice said: “That was really mediocre work, my friend.”
Cloak’s facial expression fell as the victory screen did not show his Wraith but rather the supposedly defeated Pathfinder.

What happened? When Cloak initiated his finisher, he got caught by the death zone in Apex Legends, which closed around the Twitch streamer. So it was a rude awakening for Cloak. Because while the finisher is running, the opponent is not yet dead, and the attacker can take damage too.

Fortnite is selling a puppy in the item shop that bears a strong resemblance to a skin in the Battle Pass. Originally, there was never any intention to sell skins from the Battle Pass. What’s going on?
Which skin is it about? Fortnite is selling the pet “Gunner” and players are furious about that. Moreover, the price is also set far too high. In the store, the dog Gunner costs 1,000 V-Bucks, which is roughly 10 €.
What does Epic Games think about the sale of such skins? As Forbes reports, Epic is breaking its philosophy regarding Battle Passes. They say they never want to sell items from the Battle Pass in the store.
Whether reskins also fall under this promise remains unclear. Previously, Epic Games had already offered reskins of items from the Battle Pass, but those were unlockable style options that could be unlocked through in-game actions and should not be paid for in the store.
Now, Gunner costs 1,000 V-Bucks. That’s 50 V-Bucks more than a Battle Pass for a season would cost.
What’s the problem with that? Fortnite players are now uncertain whether the items from the Battle Pass of a season will remain exclusive, or whether there’s a risk that they will later be simply sold as simple reskins with a few color changes in the store.

“This is a clear warning sign for me. At what point will the difference be small enough for people to get it? Back when Skull Trooper was controversial, many argued, ‘It’s not a Battle Pass, so it’s all good.’ Now look how the rules are changing,” writes Tolbana on Reddit.

This is what this survey is about: 2019 was an exciting and eventful year for MMOs and multiplayer games. Games that were highly anticipated in 2019 turned out to be disappointments, while others turned out to be hidden gems. But what about 2020?

These are the MMOs of 2020: A part of the upcoming MMOs in 2020 consists of games that were originally announced for 2019 and then had to be postponed. This includes some of the new MMORPGs from 2019, such as Crowfall, Ashes of Creation, or Ascent: Infinite Realm.
There are also some new faces. For example, at E3 2019, to the great surprise of fans, Phantasy Star Online 2 for the West was announced. And the MMORPG Astellia, which has already gone through two beta tests, seems to be based on a solid foundation. Perhaps 2020 will be the year of new MMORPGs or will the release dates be postponed again?
