With the expansion Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, a new set of weapons comes into play. The weapons of the Acid Glavenus have the highest base attack.
The weapons and armors in Monster Hunter World are divided by monsters. Each armor set and each weapon tree has its own skills and attack values.
You get the weapons from this monster: The Acid Glavenus is – as the name suggests – a subspecies of the Glavenus. Its tail is sharp like a sword and it uses it accordingly. The tail of the Acid Glavenus is additionally coated with acid. Its greatest weakness is the fire element, so you should counter it with that.
What characteristics do Acid Glavenus weapons have?
Bow: Acid Arrow II with 336 damage (240 Thunder), no power coating
Dual Blades: The Rending Scissors with 406 damage (210 Paralysis)
Energy Blade: The Melting Grip with 1044 damage (270 Paralysis)
Gunlance: Acid Breaker II with 667 damage (330 Paralysis)
Great Sword: Acid Shredder II with 1392 damage (420 Paralysis)
Hammer: The Cracking Hammer with 1508 damage (330 Paralysis)
Insect Glaive: The Flowing Spiral with 899 damage (210 Paralysis)
Hunting Horn: The Rough Ballad with 1218 damage (330 Paralysis)
Long Sword: Acid Scimitar II with 957 damage (390 Paralysis)
Spear: The Dissolution Spindle with 667 damage (330 Paralysis)
Light Bowgun: Acid Blitz II with 325 damage
Morphing Axe: Acid Crusher II with 1015 damage (390 Paralysis)
Heavy Bowgun: The Disemboweling Sigh with 435 damage
Sword and Shield: Acid Ripper II with 406 (210 Paralysis)
The Cracking Hammer from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Do Acid Glavenus weapons have a weakness? A major drawback of Acid Glavenus weapons is their comparatively low sharpness. However, you can avoid this or at least make it easier for yourself.
The skill Protective Polish, for example, prevents your sharpness from decreasing for a certain time after sharpening. Handicraft increases your sharpness bar right from the start, and Fast Sharpening allows you to sharpen faster.
How to get even more damage out of your weapon
Can I increase the damage of my weapon further? There is a very simple way to enhance your attack value. You only need a weapon without an active element. The weapons of the Acid Glavenus have a hidden element. If this remains hidden, the weapon is considered elementless.
Then a decoration called Elementless Jewel 2 comes into play. It includes the skill Non-Element Boost at level 1. This increases the base attack of your weapon even more.
The skill Super Weapon on the Kirin Armor
Can I somehow utilize the element that is on the weapon? If you want to forego the additional damage from Non-Element Boost, you can activate the element. For this, you need the skill Super Weapon. This can be especially useful for paralysis. You obtain this skill, for example, through the Kirin Armor of the Master Rank.
Here you can find out how to fight Acid Glavenus and get the loot for the weapons:
The ratings of the top 100 in FIFA 20 are known. These are the best players in FUT 20 – in Ultimate Team. Here you can see their cards with all player values.

At the landing spots in Fortnite that we present to you here, you won’t have to fight with hordes of opponents for the loot. These places are rarely visited and offer a lot of loot.
Landing Spot 1: Viking Mountain + Snobby Shores
What makes this place so special? The Viking Mountain offers you one large and six smaller buildings to loot. Additionally, there’s a large Viking ship. In total, you’ll find about 10 chests. There’s also plenty of wood and stone to gather.
If you have time and the storm zone moves in your favor, you can also stop by Snobby Shores. Snobby Shores has four large houses with a lot of loot (especially suitable for teams) and plenty of materials to gather. You will also encounter a Reboot Bus.
Pro
Good loot opportunity (suitable for teams)
Plenty of materials (wood/stone/metal)
Reboot Bus available
Contra
Usually far from the zone
Loot route doesn’t offer many buildings to loot
Landing Spot 2: Lazy Lagoon
What makes this place so special? Lazy Lagoon offers you many options, for example a large wooden ship with many chests and a small town that you can loot. Additionally, there is a lot of wood and stone to gather, so you will be well-equipped for the end game.
If you need a Reboot Bus, there is one available at Lazy Lagoon. At this location, you usually only meet one other team. If you are going solo, you can expect around 1-2 opponents.
Depending on where the next zone is located, you can also make a detour to Tomato Temple. There, you will also find some chests and be able to gather a lot of stone.
Pro
Many loot opportunities
Plenty of materials (wood/stone)
Few opponents
Reboot Bus available
Contra
Water complicates movement
Landing Spot 3: Lonely Lodge
What makes this place so special? Lonely Lodge has a lot to offer. You can find many loot spots, mushrooms, campfires, and sometimes even a vending machine and a Reboot Bus. You can gather plenty of materials as there are many trees, stones, and cars around. This way, you can head to the endgame well-equipped.
You are unlikely to meet opponents here. If you are going solo, it can happen that you encounter one opponent.
After Lonely Lodge, you can visit the trailer park. There, you will find plenty of ammunition and a few chests.
Pro
Many loot spots
Usually a vending machine
Mushrooms and campfires
Plenty of materials (wood/stone/metal)

Depending on which route you choose, you can walk to Tilted Town or Salty Springs. But keep in mind that you will likely encounter opponents there.
Pro
Lots of loot
Mushrooms
Much wood
Centrally located
Reboot Bus available
Contra
Higher chance of opponents

If you need a Reboot Bus, you will find one in Happy Hamlet. Due to its loot, the location is popular, and it’s likely that you will encounter opponents.
You should loot Happy Hamlet quickly because it is usually far outside the zone. Depending on where the zone takes you, you can stop by the big chair or the small factory and gather even more loot.
Pro
Very much loot
Vending machines
Plenty of materials (stone)
Reboot Bus available
Contra
Higher chance of opponents

What are your favorite landing spots? Is one of the ones mentioned above your favorite too?
In Destiny 2, many Guardians want a buff for the Rocket Titan. Thundercrash is expected to be better, but Bungie shows no love.
This has happened: For the past few days, the demands for Bungie to finally show more love for the Rocket Titans have been increasing. In the last “This Week at Bungie” post, the developers presented changes to the focal points and supers with Shadowkeep – and the Rocket focus of the Titan is not receiving a buff, even though many Guardians say it is overdue.
The Rocket Titan, or the “Code of the Rocket”, is a focus path of the Arc Titan. The special super is called Thundercrash, where the Titan launches through the air like a rocket and crashes into the enemy with a massive boom. Many Titans believe this “boom” could deal more damage.
Thundercrash should be stronger
What do the Guardians demand? Over the weekend, a Guardian on Reddit received over 6000 upvotes for pointing out that currently, the Bungie forums are exploding with complaint posts: Bungie is not giving Thundercrash any love. He is pleased that people are finally discussing it intensely.
They have been demanding a buff for a long time now, but many – like him – have been waiting to see what super changes Shadowkeep would bring. But since there is no mention of a Thundercrash buff in the patch notes, he hopes that the Rocket Titans will finally get Bungie’s attention this way.
What is the problem with the Rocket Super? Several issues are criticized regarding Thundercrash:
The damage in PvE is too low – especially compared to other super attacks, which are significantly easier and “safer” to perform. With Thundercrash, you recklessly dive into the enemies and have to see if you can get out alive. It’s a risky super, which is why it should deal more damage than others, according to opinion.
Currently, the damage against bosses is so low that the use of rockets hardly seems worthwhile, and better DPS can be achieved otherwise. But what else should you use Thundercrash for? Many other supers are better suited against adds, making it difficult to find arguments when wanting to play the Rocket Titan.
Additionally, the damage resistance in PvP is too low. Some more mobile supers, which can strike more often, withstand more. As a rocket, you shouldn’t be so easily stopped, is the criticism.

Guardians, therefore, suggest not only adding a damage buff to Thundercrash. It could also have additional effects. For example, enemies at medium range could be pushed away from the impact by a shockwave or shaken, similar to a war satellite crash.
Nerf instead of Buff
Another Guardian in the comments summarizes: No, such buffs are not coming. But Bungie is giving you a nerf to the damage resistance of the super.
In PvP, the Guardians are supposed to have a better chance of withstanding super attacks. Therefore, the damage resistance during active Thundercrash super is being reduced from 54% to 49%. However, other supers receive similar nerfs, this is not exclusive to Thundercrash.
Nevertheless, some Titans believe: Many supers need a resistance nerf, yes, but Thundercrash does not.
By the way, the Sentinel Titan is receiving some buffs. As the only Titan subclass. Some Guardians joke that this is because Bungie wants to enforce the Titan bubble, as it has been announced: With Shadowkeep, the weapons of light are returning.
Do you also think that the Rocket Titan deserves a proper buff?

In the MMORPG Bless Online, the servers went offline on Steam this morning. The MMORPG has become history after nearly a year and a half: it was the last major AAA MMORPG that tried to launch in the West and failed brutally.
When did it end? The service for Bless on Steam was officially discontinued today at 9:00 AM on Monday, September 9th.
Although Bless can still be downloaded and installed via Steam, the launcher can no longer find a region: a sad sight.
What’s the mood on Steam? In contrast to dead MMORPGs like WildStar, whose end was accompanied by nostalgia and wistfulness, the prevailing emotions in Bless are anger and disappointment. (via steamcommunity)
Only a few comments express regret.
On Steam, players call the developers “frauds.” They say the developers can save their warm words; they want their money back.
Because Bless is now, quite literally, just unplayable.
Bless was seen as the MMORPG hope from Korea in 2018 – did not go well
What makes people so angry about Bless? Bless had a rough run:
It was released in May 2018 in Early Access on Steam. There was neither a beta nor another way to preview the game – hence some bought it “blindly,” many of whom immediately regretted the purchase. Only 60% of buyers reached level 5 in Bless.
People were aware of the MMORPG’s issues in other regions: however, the developers promised to significantly revise the MMORPG for the West.
Later it was said that this had been a misunderstanding – Western players expected a finished MMORPG, but it was an Early Access launch.
Then Bless was released as “Free2Play” – which upset those who had already invested money.
However, Bless couldn’t really achieve much at the “real” launch – the hype had long since faded.
Content was sparse after the launch, and those were parts that had been cut from the MMORPG and withheld – Bless couldn’t turn the tide even in the slightest. In the end, Bless had an average of 26 players online on Steam. At its peak in June 2018, there were an average of 8,500 (via steamcharts).
Here’s what it’s about: Bless was one of the last major AAA releases for MMORPGs on Steam in the West. There hasn’t been much since Black Desert – maybe with the exception of MapleStory 2.
All the more disappointing how it ultimately all went down. The story of Bless shows us how great the interest in a “new MMORPG” is here in the West, but also how brutally hope and anticipation can turn into frustration and disappointment.
The positive aspects of the MMORPG like the taming system or the world will likely fade into obscurity for most MMORPG games, or they never got to experience that side of Bless.
The people on Steam don’t seem to mourn Bless; they rather mourn their money.
Our author Alexander Leitsch had the chance to interview Guild Wars 2 Game Director Mike Zadorojny. He revealed some details about the Living World Season 5 and the regularity of updates.
What is the interview about? On August 30, the MMORPG announced the new Icebrood Saga. This is a series of story updates that will expand the game and tell the story around Norn, a malevolent cult, and the Ice Dragon Jormag.
Game Director Mike Zadorojny has answered some questions for me accordingly.
What will the Icebrood Saga do differently? First, Mike and I talked about the lessons developers have learned from the previous four seasons of the Living World.
The Icebrood Saga intends to do some things differently in terms of innovations and structure. It will be particularly based on the first seasons:
Don’t expect a new map with every update. We will also work with existing maps and expand them. It will be comparable to Season 2, just a bit more significant and larger than the two maps back then.
We will initially start with a new large map and then implement things that we haven’t done before.
According to Mike, the first season was also a great inspiration because it was a lot of fun for the developers and kept players engaged.
What changes in storytelling? Guild Wars 2 has also evolved over the years in the way stories are told. Mike mentioned a very specific example:
In Season 2, we introduced Belinda and killed her shortly after. We had something similar with Blish in Season 4, but the character was much more developed.
The outcry: “You created this character just to kill her” was much smaller than back then.
He also proudly states that the way the story is told has positively changed. It has become much more focused than in the early days.
What about our hero group in the story? If you’re a fan of the characters Marjory and Kasmeer like I am, you’ll be happy to hear about their return. After they completely disappeared after Path of Fire, they will now return in the Icebrood Saga.
Mike describes the story of the new Icebrood Saga as darker and more Cthulhu-style. Therefore, it’s fitting that especially Marjory, as a necromancer, has a return.
Overall, there will be more rotations in our hero group. This way, players won’t interact with too many characters at once, yet the group will remain consistent.
Exciting events every month
How regularly do episodes of the Living World 5 appear? Of course, I wanted to know from Mike how often we can expect new episodes.
From the last seasons, we were used to a rhythm of 2-3 months, but the developers now want to change that:
Actually, we want to be faster than in the last season. Our current priority is to try to have something exciting in the game every month.
For that, we have the Living World, but also festivals that take place regularly. In addition, there are the bonus events, as we internally call them, in which you are supposed to defeat world bosses, for example.
Based on Mike’s description, the update calendar for 2019 could look something like this:
But it will really kick off with the first episode of the Living World Season 5. It will definitely be released this year. The first area will be the Northern Shiverpeaks.
Mike describes this as a particularly beautiful place:
You can look forward to some incredibly beautiful vistas. The art team has worked hard and also drew a lot of inspiration from the Guild Wars 1 maps.
Image from the Thunderhead Peaks
Are there new world bosses? The new world boss Drakkar has already been announced during the event, and Mike was able to tell me a little about it. He is supposed to be more challenging than the last released world bosses:
The Shatterer in Jahai was a good intermediate step, but he was not as challenging as the three-headed jungle worm. The new world boss will be big and is supposed to bring players together.
However, it will not be on the new map from the start, but will be added later.
From the announcement, we already know that Drakkar is intended for the second episode.
Concept Art of Drakkar
How do assault missions work? In addition to world bosses, we also discussed the new assault missions. In this, 10 players face a boss that is supposed to be challenging.
Mike describes this new challenge as follows:
Assault missions are instanced content that can be entered in two ways. If you just want to fight, you can enter the site and be randomly matched with other players, similar to the riftstrider events.
Way number 2 is a separate entrance for your group. There you can gather and defeat the boss, even in smaller groups than intended.
New fractals and raids are still being worked on, as Mike confirmed to me upon request.
We also briefly discussed repeatable challenge modes in raids. These are being discussed internally, but there is no new information about them yet.
Currently, ArenaNet is very satisfied with the development of the Living World. However, paid expansions for the future are not ruled out, as revealed in another interview:
The BlizzCon 2019 starts in November. With a poster, a key art, it fueled rumors among fans. Diablo 4 or Overwatch 2? Both? Or nothing at all?
Which poster was shown? We are still a few weeks away from the start of BlizzCon 2019, but the topic is becoming more present. New to this is the official key art, the poster that belongs to this year’s event at Blizzard.
What can be seen on the poster? One can recognize the characters from various Blizzard games. Mecha-Tyrael (HotS), Elise (Hearthstone), Barbarian (Diablo / Diablo Immortal), Egon Stetmann (StarCraft), Sylvanas (WoW) and Tracer (Overwatch).
Players emphasize that Tracer is obviously at the forefront and therefore something for Overwatch may be in the works. Other players say that the Barbarian in the middle plays a central role and suspect important announcements for Diablo.
New rumors about Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 – For BlizzCon 2019?
There are many reactions to the poster. Everyone sees what they want to see. For some players, it’s clear that Overwatch and Diablo will play an important role at BlizzCon ’19 because they are positioned so centrally in the image.
The speculations about Diablo:
Players say that Blizzard wants to indicate by positioning it in the middle that Diablo will take the most important role at the event. Here the trends go towards Diablo Immortal. Do they want to announce a release?
“If they don’t suddenly come out with a Diablo 4 announcement, I’m pretty sure that all Diablo announcements will have to do with Immortal,” writes ltdansgotnewlegs on Reddit.
On the other hand, hopes for Diablo 4 are high. An announcement for the new installment of the Diablo series has been desperately awaited by fans for many months. Some interpret the central placement of the Barbarian as an indication that Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4 will be announced during BlizzCon 2019.
Many players want to interpret Tracer’s positioning in the foreground as an important hint.
“[Tracer] not only looks good, but is also prominently presented in the image. I have the feeling that Overwatch will be a major focus of BlizzCon this year. […]” writes hanyou007 on Reddit.
Here, a PvE expansion or a DLC is suspected. Instead of a PvE expansion, many believe in a story-based PvE game, Overwatch 2. There was an insider report that described Overwatch 2 as a kind of Left 4 Dead.
Generally, Blizzard always shows many characters in the key arts for the Blizzcons, which players interpret as something big. We advise not to get your hopes up too high and not to read too much into the poster.
Which franchise are you most looking forward to during BlizzCon 2019?
The Demogorgon will soon rage in Dead by Daylight. If you want to see just how he kills, you can check out the creepy Mori animation here.
The next chapter is coming soon in Dead by Daylight. The “Stranger Things” DLC is particularly significant, as it features not only a new killer and a new map but also two survivors. On the PTR, the new characters are already playable, which means the Demogorgon’s “Mori” animation is now available. Of course, we don’t want to withhold this from you.
What is a “Mori” animation? In Dead by Daylight, the killer usually wins when they hang the survivors on meat hooks and sacrifice them. However, all killers have the option to kill their victims directly “by hand”. This is possible through special perks or offerings. One of these offerings is the “Memento Mori” offerings. That’s why the community refers to the “Mori animation” – the specific animation with which a killer directly kills the survivor. Each killer has their own Mori animation that fits their character and backstory.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19-zECsPvjw
How the Demogorgon “morits”: The Demogorgon leaps at the survivor lying on the ground and slashes its claws into their torso. When the survivor holds their wounds, the Demogorgon opens its flower-like head and envelops the survivor’s head to eat him. It crunches and cracks grossly until the survivor is spat out and remains dead on the ground. The Demogorgon then pokes at its victim again and roars triumphantly.
Why is there no decapitation? Although Dead by Daylight is quite a brutal game, the Demogorgon’s Mori animation does not involve biting off a head, even though it would fit with the animation. The reason is likely that decapitations would cause Dead by Daylight to receive different age ratings in some countries or would not be allowed to be distributed openly. Previously, the developers had stated that there would be no decapitations in the game (at least depicted).
When is the Demogorgon coming? Currently, the Demogorgon is still on the PTR of Dead by Daylight. Its release will take place sometime in September, but there is no exact date yet.
Are you excited for the Demogorgon and will you get the DLC? What do you think of the Mori animation?
Autumn is just around the corner, and with it comes the harvest of corn. To welcome autumn in the online game Fallout 76, a player has come up with something very special.
What has Fallout 76 player Jcoffill come up with? Jcoffill used about 75 percent of his Camp budget to create a maze made of corn in the online game Fallout 76.
He is now inviting all players to come and check it out. He promises some surprises while navigating the maze.

What’s the deal with cornfield mazes? Especially in the USA, mazes are created from cornfields. Usually for festivals to celebrate harvest time. One of the most famous corn mazes is built annually at Tulley’s Farm in Crawley, West Sussex. It is intended as a horror attraction.
Based on this tradition, Fallout 76 player Jcoffill has now built his own maze.
What does Jcoffill’s maze offer? It is a classic maze, with dead ends and many branches. You have to try to find the exit. There is a lot to see in the maze. Among other things, you will find a trader who offers interesting items suitable for the season.
From time to time, ghouls may wander into the field, which should provide a scare and make exploring the maze not entirely safe. By the way, you will recognize the end by the glow of a campfire.
Players love such creative things
How is the maze received? Many are excited about it and even dress up when they enter the corn maze. This adds extra fun as you can meet players dressed in funny or spooky outfits. These players even leave bags of candy in the field as a nod to Halloween.
The community on Reddit praises Jcoffill and says they are having a lot of fun in the maze. Such ideas to make his camp interesting are generally well received.
Where can you find the cornfield? A bit north of Charleston Station, you can discover the maze – but only if you are playing on PS4.
When is the maze ready for exploration? Jcoffill explains that you can enter the maze every evening.
Will you also check out the cornfield maze in Fallout 76?
We want to know how fast you are in WoW Classic! Do you level up while running nonstop? Are you taking it easy? What level has your character already reached?
World of Warcraft Classic has been out for nearly two weeks now and many players are still roaming around in the “old” Azeroth. There are still queues on most realms every day and the interest remains high.
But how far have you, the players, progressed by now? Are you leveling up at turbo speed or are you taking your time and enjoying the old game world?
While it is a lot of fun for some players to rush through the leveling phase of WoW Classic as fast as possible, others are taking a more leisurely approach, taking their time for quests or leveling only together with a specific player. The first gnome achieved level 60 in just a few days through extreme grinding and even used a slight exploit to avoid waiting for enemies.
If you need some tips for leveling, you can find them here:
Other players, on the other hand, sink into nostalgia and take all the time in the world to leisurely journey through once favorite zones and experience once again the vastness of the Barrens or the Defias uprising in Westfall. They approach the whole thing more leisurely and take their time to let classic WoW sink in once more.
What level have you already reached in WoW Classic?
But now let’s get to you! We want to know how far you have leveled your main character in WoW Classic. To this end, we have a little survey here where you can indicate your progress.
If you want to elaborate a bit more on how you experience WoW Classic (whether as a race to level 60 or as a relaxed game on the side), then feel free to leave a comment.

The MMORPG Black Desert has enlisted actress Megan Fox to promote the release on PS4. After several weeks of waiting, we now see the live-action trailer. It aims to show a magical transformation into the true self.
What’s going on with Megan Fox and Black Desert? This has been a long-standing question. Pearl Abyss, the developers of the MMORPG, have contracted Megan Fox (Transformers) as the “spoke-person” for the PS4 launch:
On August 22, a 15-second teaser trailer was released, featuring her driving through the desert in a convertible.
On August 30, a sort of interview with Megan Fox was released, in which she explained that Black Desert can help young girls feel empowered. It could have a therapeutic effect.
These videos were met with criticism from MMORPG fans. Questions arose about what exactly Megan Fox has to do with Black Desert and why it reflects so little of the experiences players have in the MMORPG.
The overarching idea of the campaign is that Black Desert can help individuals find their “true self.”
Live-Action Trailer for Black Desert on PS4
This is shown in the new trailer: On September 5, the final “Live Action Trailer” for Black Desert for PS4 featuring Megan Fox in the lead role was released.

The actress has a breakdown in the desert, of course, there’s no mobile reception. So she gets out and immediately sees a laser beam in the distance.
As she approaches the beam, she first fixes her hair and then runs towards the beam. Ultimately, she discovers a magical PS4 controller in the sand and transforms from a beautiful actress into a just as beautiful MMORPG heroine.
Somehow, she seems to have skipped the class selection.
The magical PS4 controller in the desert.
This is the message: The video is advertised as “It takes courage to move forward and become who you really are. Watch Megan’s transformation as she travels through the desert to become her true self.”
The Warlock has plenty of cool abilities in Destiny 2, but when it comes to appearance, many of the armors just seem uninspired. Therefore, our author Christopher regrets choosing this class. Unfortunately, Shadowkeep doesn’t help either.
Which armor pieces are meant? At this point, I could list numerous armor pieces and sets that show why the Warlock simply looks terrible. However, I have chosen to select some special examples that best illustrate the problem I have with the design:
Phoenix Protocol Chestpiece
For example, we have the Phoenix Protocol Chestpiece, which does have its own idea, but it’s not particularly beautiful. Ultimately, it’s just a regular robe. Now it seems they thought it would be especially cool if it were adorned with 50 cables. However, with that, you look more like a telecom technician and less like a venerable battle mage.
Starfire Protocol Robe
The Starfire Protocol Robe lacks any semblance of a reasonable idea. Apart from the symbols on the robe, there is nothing special to see here. Uniqueness is sought in vain.
Simulator Robe
When the Faction Wars took place in Destiny 2, I held out a slight hope that I might find some treasures for my Warlock, and I could finally build a good-looking battle mage in the future war cult. But I was unfortunately left with the Simulator Robe. It looks like the last rag my mage could find in his closet just to wear something and not run naked around the Tower.
In principle, I have no problem if sets for a mage class revolve around robes, but the fact that they are almost exclusively designed around the robes is a thorn in my side.
At the beginning, the armor wasn’t bad, but then the ideas ran out
Why do I sometimes regret being a Warlock: With the launch of Destiny 2, Bungie brought many cool ideas to the game. The armor pieces back then felt fresh and new. This also applied to the Warlock’s armor pieces. Now it seems the only idea for the mage is to be given boring robes that hardly differ from each other. Due to a lack of concepts, the armor sets look increasingly similar and hardly bring anything new. My class doesn’t deserve that!
The Wings of Sacred Dawn made my Warlock look noble and fit very well with the Dawnblade. This chestpiece contained more than just another robe. The golden design with the angelic wings was something really special and made me hopeful. Generally, many of the starting sets for the Warlock were very well designed, and I felt like a wizard in space. None of this could really compete with the armors from Destiny 1, but I was convinced that Bungie would improve here, and I would see good Warlock sets with creative ideas.
The Exotic Chest Armor “Wings of Sacred Dawn”
After all, I’ve been primarily playing a Warlock since Day 1 of Destiny and was quite sure that I wanted to continue playing this class. But it quickly became clear to me that my air mage would likely always look worse than all the other classes in the game. When I look at current armors, I increasingly regret having chosen the Warlock.
What change occurred? By now, I consider the Warlock to be the class in the game that looks the worst. Support and new ideas? Nonexistent!
Instead, from season to season, there are more and more Warlock armors that follow the same design. They are only variations of old garments, because apparently Bungie believes that Warlocks can only be represented by robes. Many of the chestpieces almost exclusively follow this schema.
Those waiting for bulkier armors with edges and points will be thoroughly disappointed. They apparently don’t dare to try different ideas or play around with combinations.
How about a cool battle mage armor if I want to look like a strong warrior with my Warlock? That won’t work, as many armor pieces tend to be rather a boring wizard with a robe. So I am visually pushed into a role with my class that I might have imagined differently.
How do players perceive the Warlock? Other Guardians also seem not entirely satisfied with the Warlock’s appearance. While there are always some individual pieces that look quite okay, fundamentally, the Warlock ranks the worst in appearance and gets the ugliest sets gifted by Bungie.
The armor of the Black Armory and the Dawn Chestpiece is considered by some Guardians to be what suits a Warlock.
A Guardian on reddit hits the nail on the head and says:
“The overwhelming majority (of the armors) looks like a Warlock has gouged out their own eyes and has ransacked their closet.”
Of course, there are also other voices in the community that believe the Warlock looks totally okay, but that remains a matter of taste.
Will everything get better with Shadowkeep and Season 8?
How does the new Shadowkeep armor for the Warlock look? Before every new season and upcoming expansions, I sit in front of the PC and keep my fingers crossed that my Warlock will receive cool new armor and one day also get a compliment for it.
With the new Shadowkeep armor, however, my mage should quickly hide as he comes with this dreadful owl mask that is at least on the creepiness level of Pennywise the clown.
By now, I seriously wonder if Bungie simply doesn’t like the Warlock and is thus intentionally making him uglier. I simply can’t explain the design of the Moon Armor otherwise. The theme could have offered so much, and instead, I get to see a drunken owl. No wonder my mage ends up being an outsider and is probably only still tolerated by other Guardians thanks to his Well of Radiance.
Are hopes resting on the new Vex armor? At least there’s a new season starting this fall. There must be something nice in it, right?
Only to a limited extent. While the Vex armor for the Season of the Undying generally looks decent, the Warlock doesn’t stand out much. Instead, he gets a regular robe with Vex skin. The design is relatively interchangeable. While the Titan is gifted unique Vex wings, my Warlock has to settle for the absolute standard and resembles more a Bionicle than a true mage.
A Warlock must look good too! For the time being, it seems there won’t be anything with my stylish air wizard. However, some exceptions keep giving me hope that Bungie will find the right path one day and has great plans for the Warlock. After all, there’s still new content in the form of the Battle Pass waiting for us, and this season won’t be the last one.
I’m sure my Warlock will soon be able to walk through the world with dignity. Armor 2.0 at least brings the possibility to experiment a bit more. Thus, it should be possible to find a transitional solution to make my mage look like one. But until then, he has to settle for his old robes and accept that he simply doesn’t look as good as the other classes.
Do you also think Bungie is neglecting the Warlock, or do you have a completely different opinion?
19-year-old Hugh Gilmour is considered one of the best Fortnite coaches in the world. He has helped make millionaires out of teenagers at the Fortnite World Cup and does so at quite a reasonable price.
Who is he? The 19-year-old top coach is named Hugh Gilmour. Online, he goes by “DestinysJesus”.
In an interview with the BBC, he reveals that he lives with his parents in Kent, England.
The idea of becoming a coach was born out of necessity. He couldn’t make it as a professional Fortnite player himself. Gilmour tried from March 2018 to July 2019 but failed to qualify for the World Cup. So he could just as well coach.
He says he worked for 3 years in a gym and discovered his passion for leading others to success.
Bugha is one of the young Fortnite pros who rely on the help of the top coach.
Protégés earn $17 million at Fortnite World Cup
Whom has he coached? Among the players who Hugh helped to become millionaires are:
16-year-old Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf – he became the solo winner at the Fortnite World Championship and took home $3 million in prize money, although a lot of it will go to taxes.
15-year-old Jaden “Wolfiez” Ashman and his partner “Dave “Rojo” Jong, who together made $2.25 million. They became World Cup runners-up in duo.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The coach’s homepage showcases his successes.
According to his own homepage, Gilmour’s protégés earned almost $17 million in prize money at the Fortnite World Cup alone (via destinyjesus).
This means players who took hours with him captured more than half of the total earnings available at the Fortnite World Cup:
With the resume, “DestinyJesus” was looking for a permanent job as a coach.
How much does he charge? Hugh charges £120 per session, which is about €133, as reported by the BBC. He does not participate in the winnings of his protégés.
However, he knew it would be good for him when his protégés performed so well at the World Cup. It enhances his reputation in the scene.
Players must invest a lot of work into mechanics, aiming, and looting.
Hugh spends a lot of his time on video analysis. He analyzes landing spots and routes, teaching players specific techniques on how to defend themselves. Coaching takes place via video chat on Discord.
What do the pros he helped say? Rojo, one of the new millionaires, says the coaching was extremely important. This way, they knew where other people landed and could refine their own landing and rotation.
He and Wolfiez made some mistakes as a duo that they could fix before the tournament, thanks to the help of the coach. Without those hours, they would probably have made the mistakes and would not have placed second.
Coaching is now a crucial part of esports.
Nickmercs, a well-known Twitch streamer.
He showed us so much crap we can’t do anymore
But it’s not just “guys” who benefit from the training. Experienced Twitch streamers and older players like Nickmercs and SypherPk now trust the coach.
The Twitch streamer Nicksmercs says he and SypherpK paid Hugh to watch over their videos (via dexerto):
He showed us a lot of crap we just can’t do anymore. We used impulse grenades incorrectly, rotated wrongly, built wrong. We did so many stupid things that we really can’t do anymore.
The Twitch streamer Asmongold has finally reached level 60 in WoW Classic. He is celebrating this in Stormwind with music and a speech.
For many WoW streamers, the last few weeks have been the “golden age” where they could attract a lot of attention on Twitch. During the leveling phase, many streamers built a large community that played along or simply watched.
This was also the case for the streamer Asmongold, who has now finally reached level 60 and celebrated it in his typical exaggerated manner. If you are still leveling, here are some tips.
Where did Asmongold reach level 60? Asmongold was just in Scholomance with his group, a dungeon for players at the maximum level and just below. He didn’t have to fight his way through much, as during the clearing of the first room, an enemy gave him the necessary experience points to level up for the last time. He explained this while doing so.
This is it. After two weeks, after 12 hours a day streamed every day, it is finally here.

Big parade in Stormwind: After that, Asmongold traveled to Stormwind, where he was immediately greeted by his community, who organized a parade for him at the city gates. As he strolls through the ranks of players on his mount, “We are the Champions” plays in the background. Asmongold smiles broadly, clearly delighted.

Whether one can understand and celebrate this parade or finds it silly is something everyone must decide for themselves. But maybe Asmongold can finally sleep in again and no longer “has to” stream 12 hours a day on Twitch.
The next event of the Ultra Bonus 2019 in Pokémon GO begins. Featuring regional Pokémon from 7 km eggs and Deoxys. We will show you in the guide everything you need to know about the event.
Now week 2 is approaching and brings you new reasons to play Pokémon GO.
What kind of event? Week 2 of the Ultra Bonus 2019 When does it start? On September 9 at 10:00 PM German time What rewards are there? Regional Pokémon (Kanto) from 7 km eggs, Deoxys for the first time outside of EX Raids, double effective incubators
Why is it worth it? For collectors of rare Pokémon, this event will be a celebration. Those who diligently hatch eggs can obtain Pokémon that are generally not available for trainers to catch here. From the eggs, there are:
How can you get the Pokémon from the eggs? These regional Pokémon hatch from 7 km eggs, which you will receive after the start of the event, that is, from September 9 at 10:01 PM. If you had the 7 eggs in your inventory or incubator before the event, these event Pokémon are not included.
It is helpful that incubators are double effective during the event period, so you can hatch as many monsters as possible.
How long will these Pokémon stay in the eggs? The chance of these regionals from the 7 eggs remains in the game even after week 2. Until the end of week 3, on September 23 at 10:00 PM, this egg bonus will remain active.
In The Division 2, an ETF member clears up some myths and rumors.
Who is speaking? The post by Agent Airjarhead is currently receiving a lot of attention on the Division reddit. He writes that he recently served as an ETF member. During that time, he was allowed to travel to Sweden and speak with the developers about the future of The Division 2.
While Massive still hasn’t revealed anything about the game’s future – which should change this week – the ETF member now wants to clear up some myths and rumors that are circulating in the community.
ETF stands for “Elite Task Force.” This refers to community representatives who spoke with the developers at the Massive studio at the beginning of September about upcoming changes in The Division 2.
“The developers don’t care what the community wants”
This is the rumor: The agent writes that he asked his clan members for input when he found out he would become an ETF member. About half responded: “Why bother – they don’t listen anyway.”
And many agents think that – and to be honest, he believed it for a while too.
This is what the ETF member says: These thoughts were shattered on the first day of the ETF. A developer gave a presentation on an upcoming change. They then discussed it, and the ETF members agreed that a change would be advisable. The developer then went back to the team, they discussed the proposed change, and then they decided to implement it. This ETF proposal will therefore be implemented.
Furthermore, the ETF members called for more transparency, and the next day the “September schedule” was released.
These are just a few examples. But you can trust him, Massive cares a lot about the community’s opinion.
“The developers don’t see the opinions on reddit”
This is the rumor: Some agents think it doesn’t matter what is posted on reddit. The developers won’t see it anyway.
This is what the ETF member says: The reddit user JokerUnique, who is very present on the Division reddit, was also at the ETF workshop. He brought a 80-90 page summary containing things that reddit users want. He is an invaluable member of the community who maintains strong communication with the developers.
“The ETF is just a publicity stunt”
This is the rumor: Some agents speculate that the ETF has no impact on The Division 2, but that they were only invited so Massive can say: “We are close to the community!” It’s all a publicity stunt.
This is what the ETF member says: The agent writes that nothing could be further from the truth. If this had been a promotional event, they would have showcased the ETF agents publicly, pulled them in front of the camera, or taken a group photo for online sharing. They didn’t even demand that.
Moreover, many more well-known streamers or YouTubers would have been invited. According to the agent, only one streamer (SolidFPS) and one YouTuber (LtBuzzLitebeer) were present, the rest consisted only of regular players who play The Division 2.
He felt that they were invited for one reason only: to tell the developers what they think of the game and to discuss changes.
“The developers don’t even play their game”
This is the rumor: One of the most popular rumors in the community is that the developers don’t even play The Division 2. Because if they did, the agents claim, they would have discovered all the bugs themselves and would realize that The Division 2 isn’t fun.
This is what the ETF member says: When he entered the Massive studio, he saw several developers playing The Division 2 right away. He is sure that a few developers playing were not arranged to create a good impression because he arrived late due to the weather.
Finally, he would like to emphasize that he was impressed by how much time each ETF member was given to express their opinions and concerns. He is excited about the future of the game.
What do you think of this information?
Another ETF member recently revealed a few things from his time at Massive:
Things are finally happening with the battle royale shooter Planetside Arena (initially PC, later for PS4 and Xbox One). After the announcement of the early access phase, the developers are now showing the first gameplay. However, this has drawn heavy criticism.
What are the developers showing? A gameplay video of Planetside Arena has been released. In it, we see about 9 minutes of how the battle royale shooter plays. Players land on the map, grab equipment and vehicles, and hunt each other down.

What is special about the video? Two things stand out. Firstly, the colorful comic graphic style, and secondly, the third-person perspective.
This leads to Planetside Arena feeling different from common battle royale shooters like Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds or Fortnite, and the well-known Planetside 2 atmosphere is not evoked with the more realistic graphics.
How are players reacting to the video? 333 viewers have given a downvote, 195 an upvote (as of September 9, 10:15 AM). The video is not received particularly well. This is even reflected in the comments.
Strong Criticism
What are players saying about the gameplay? There is a lot of criticism.
The third-person perspective is criticized – Planetside 2 uses a first-person viewpoint, just like Apex Legends. Other battle royale games like Fortnite and PUBG also offer a follower view, but players wish for the first-person perspective in Planetside.
The graphics are not very well received – Players find the comic style inappropriate, especially since it has nothing to do with Planetside.
There is too little happening – Players are running around for too long without engaging in any great battles.
There are no interesting innovations that would distinguish Planetside Arena from other BR shooters.
It simply lacks the feeling of massive battles that characterize Planetside 2.
Some players like what has been shown and are looking forward to a slightly “more compact” shooter with a cartoon graphic style. However, the majority of fans are disappointed with the first gameplay.
Those who like the gameplay explain that others should just wait. When the shooter starts, even 1,000 players are supposed to be active in the battles. Thus, Planetside Arena is expected to feel different from the rather empty gameplay video.
Others believe that the developers should at least remove the third-person view and switch to a first-person perspective. This might save the shooter.
When is it starting? After several delays, the early access phase starts on September 19. Then we will see what Planetside Arena has to offer gameplay-wise.
With Blight, the new league in the hack ‘n slash Path of Exile has started. However, the new expansion doesn’t seem to be catching on properly. The player numbers on Steam are not rising as high as they did with the last new leagues.
What is Blight? The new league Blight introduces a tower defense-like mode. A mushroom monster is spreading, and it is your task to protect NPC Sister Cassia’s pump. The monster must be stopped using turrets.
Additionally, there are daily master missions that you can complete later, a second skill bar, revisions of some classes, and much more.
Blight with fewer player numbers on Steam than Legion
What do the player numbers say about Blight? Blight has of course led to an increase in player numbers on Steam, as many fans want to check out the new league.
However, Steamcharts shows that this increase is not as strong as what has been experienced at the launch of a new league before.
At the launch of Legion, nearly 100,000 players were simultaneously playing the hack ‘n slash, according to Steamcharts. This was followed by a decline in player numbers until on September 5, only about 7,800 fans were simultaneously active.
The release of Blight on September 6 again led to an increase, but only reached about 74,600 players. And now it’s declining again. Currently (as of September 9, 9:30 AM) only about 26,500 players are online at the same time.
It should be noted that these are only the Steam numbers. Players who are playing Path of Exile on PS4 and Xbox One are not included.
Fans search for reasons for the lower player numbers
What are the reasons for the player numbers? Fans of Path of Exile are speculating, for example, on Reddit about why the current league has significantly fewer players:
Some believe that World of Warcraft Classic is to blame because many are now playing WoW and no longer have time for Path of Exile.

Others report massive performance and login problems since the league started.
Still others believe that a tower defense game is simply not their cup of tea. Furthermore, there are supposed to be bugs and balancing issues in the new mode.
There are also players who say that they simply don’t feel like leveling through all acts from scratch with each league.
However, many fans of Path of Exile are having fun with Blight and are pleased with the new mode and the adjustments. The reasons why the new league is not being received well seem to be more diverse.
What has changed now? For some hours now, a hotfix has been active in WoW Classic. When a player changes layers, for example, by accepting a group invitation, the first switch is almost instantaneous. However, if one joins additional groups shortly after, which would again result in a layer change, there is a delay. This delay increases the more frequently one changes layers in a short period of time. Blizzard refers to this as “several minutes or more”.
However, this “penalty” decreases over time. If someone does not change layers for a longer period and then joins a group, they should quickly find themselves back with their group members.
What was Layer Hopping used for? By changing layers, players could secure several smaller and larger advantages. For example, as a mage, one could farm enemies continuously without having to wait for respawns. One simply needed to switch layers, and all enemies would be back.
Camping rare spawns or special vendors who only have a limited number of recipes available is also popular. Especially the recipes for tailoring bags are in high demand, leading to the corresponding vendor being consistently occupied – the recipe for the rune cloth bag, for example, appears only every few hours.
Those who can work through several layers in a row have a clear advantage and can attempt their luck multiple times with the same vendor in different layers.
In Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, the grenade launchers are not as effective as they are now. Nerfs elsewhere are significantly limiting their DPS.
This is currently what makes grenade launchers so special: At the launch of Destiny 2 in 2017, grenade launchers were indeed an interesting, new weapon class – but pretty useless. At that time, they could not compete with rocket launchers or other power weapons, the Lion’s Roar was even considered the worst exotic weapon overall.
By the season of the Wanderer, that changed. At the beginning of 2019, the weapon class received a massive damage buff, making grenade launchers a must-have in the inventory. They are absolute boss destroyers and deal enormous damage per second in PvE.
With Shadowkeep, their power is indirectly restricted.
Grenade launchers require laborious reloading
This change nerfs grenade launchers: With Shadowkeep, Bungie is removing the auto-reload, the automatic reloading mechanic. Specifically, the Lunafacture boots in conjunction with Rift/Well of Radiance and the Barricade of Gunfights lose this property and instead only grant an increased reload speed.
The auto-reload was always an essential part of nearly all challenging PvE activities and boss fights. You would position yourself in the effective range and shoot everything at the enemy without reloading, which significantly increased the damage over time.
Why does this hit grenade launchers hard? While grenade launchers now have an enormous damage output, they are hindered by the long reload time and the low ammunition capacity. With the auto-reload mechanic, the drawbacks were circumvented, allowing for constant fire on the boss.
If auto-reload goes away, it hits grenade launchers particularly hard. Most of them have only 1 to 6 shots in the magazine, after which reloading takes several seconds. This greatly reduces damage over time and thus the effectiveness of grenade launchers.
Thus, grenade launchers will lose a significant amount of their power when auto-reload disappears. How useful they will still be in Shadowkeep remains to be seen. Possibly the “significant increase in reload speed” that replaces the auto-reload will be rather high, making the nerf not so severe. But the time of dominance for grenade launchers should be numbered.
When asked whether these grenade launchers will still be worthwhile with Shadowkeep, community manager dmg04 assured that grenade launchers will not receive nerfs – including Summit and Wendigo.
