A player has now shown in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that you can even build rockets. With a bit of luck, thermite, and a gas grenade, the small flying object was created.
For the rocket, the player throws a gas bomb in the clip. This connects with the thermite, which is used by another player. The video then shows how the two things hang together and rise toward the sky. The ascent does not look very safe, and after just a few meters, the rocket sinks back down, and the gas bomb explodes.
The clip creator WabbitSlayerr then took the time to add sound to the whole action. After an encouraging song while the rocket rises, only a fart sound follows when the gas bomb exploded.
Are there similar cases? Two players experienced a similar curiosity during a grenade throw. They simultaneously threw a grenade, which hit each other in the air and bounced off one another. In the end, one of the players was even hit by it.
Otherwise, such clips are always particularly special. Often it is pure luck, and the players did not plan it this way. It is all about the perfect timing.
The new Season 2 brought more curiosities into the game. So you can currently be eliminated by your own executioner with the operator “Ghost”:
In League of Legends, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok (23) has been one of the best players for years. However, his team T1 fell apart before the 2020 season: he lost two outstanding teammates, Clid and Khan. Yet in 2020, his team is once again considered strong and has just won a battle against Gen G. in the LCK.
Which teammates has Faker lost? Before the 2020 season, T1 lost two key players:
The strong, young jungler Clid went to Gen.G. – he was the team’s key player in 2019
The two stars have been replaced by relatively unknown players: Moon “Cuzz” Woo-Chan now plays in the jungle for T1, and Kim “Canna” Chan-dong is on the top lane.
This is Faker, the mid-laner of T1.
World Champion of 2016, T1, vs. World Champion 2017, Gen G.
Gen G. has built a strong new team around bot-laner Ruler and his support Life. In Korea, they are called “Fellowship of the Ring” because the team gradually formed around Ruler, who is something like Frodo in this formation.
For instance, Clid, Faker’s former teammate, now plays for Gen G. alongside Ruler.
This is how the match went: The League of Legends currently being played in Korea differs significantly from what we see in Europe:
There are few kills, especially in the early phase, almost nothing happens
The teams are hesitant about teamfights in the midgame, often backing off and waiting for the ideal moment
In the end, a match often comes down to a single teamfight because the players are so strong that they can take down the base in record time once some members of the opposing team are missing
Almost everything revolves around “Objectives”, around dragons, Baron, towers, or inhibitors. It is sometimes called “RIVERAM” because everyone is somehow bustling around the Ocean Drake in the river
And there isn’t just one game per matchup like in Europe, but a “Best of 3”

Ultimately, SKT1 won the series against GenG with 2:1:
The 1st match ended 12:4 after 43 minutes in favor of T1
The 2nd match was clearly won by Gen G with 8:1 after 31 minutes
Match 3 could then be won by T1 with 9:4 after 38 minutes
In this match, the new jungler Cuzz particularly shone. The special thing was that he faced off against T1’s former jungler, Clid.
Faker performed well in the matches that T1 won. In Match 1, he secured 5 kills on Viktor, and in Match 3, he played Rumble with 4/0/4.
Faker on Rumble is almost unfair.
Remnants of Scandal Team Griffin are No. 1 in Korea
This is how T1 stands now: T1 is currently in 3rd place in the LCK league with 3-1 wins and 7-4 games. The axis of the team is considered to be mid-laner Faker and bot-laner Teddy. The jungler Cuzz has now earned a lot of praise. Supporter Effort and the new top-laner Canna are still viewed skeptically.
The strongest team in Korea is surprisingly DragonX. The best players from Griffin, Chovy and Doran, ended up there after their team nearly disbanded.
The comedy series Dead Pixels from the UK pokes fun at MMORPG fans. It is a good alternative to Mythic Quest, also a series about MMORPGs. Our author Alexander Leitsch likes it.
What is Dead Pixels? According to the producers, Dead Pixels aims to better represent the lives of gamers than mainstream television does. Both the series’ author, Jon Brown, and the producer, Al Campbell, are MMORPG players.
Dead Pixels naturally relies on many clichés, and, as is common with British series, there’s a touch of dark humor. As a gamer, you immediately recognize yourself in many aspects, as the main characters use a language familiar to MMO players, including swearing.
It is clear that the writers have knowledge of the subject, which makes the series all the more interesting. It is strongly reminiscent of “The Guild”, an older YouTube series that might still be familiar to some older MMORPG fans.

How can I watch the series? Unfortunately, the British series from Channel 4 can currently only be watched in the UK on this website. To see it, you must either wait until it is released worldwide or use a VPN or alternative methods.
However, the first season seems to have run satisfactorily. A second season has already been commissioned, set to begin in summer 2020.
What is it exactly about? In the series, the protagonists Meg and Nicky play the fictional game Kingdom Scrolls, which is comparable to World of Warcraft. Both live together in a shared apartment, and Nicky is in love with Meg, which she apparently does not notice.
Instead, she invites her office colleague Russell, whom she desperately wants to sleep with, to a gaming session. Her fellow players Nicky and Usman, an American family man who likes to leave his children unattended while gaming, are not thrilled about the “noob”.
While the three actively grind and have goals in Kingdom Scrolls, Russell prefers to tell jokes and stack cows. Nicky and Usman then call him a “moron”, while Meg justifies herself by saying that she is also allowed to sleep with morons.
Screenshot of the fictional game Kingdom Scrolls from Dead Pixels
Nicky, on the other hand, is more of the classic nerd and somewhat more reserved than Meg. It is interesting how little fun he obviously has with the game and how much work it is for him. In the series, he says:
“I will level up and a small red banner will appear on the screen and a short ting sound will occur. That will trigger a tiny rush of dopamine [..] and for that second I will forget death for a moment.”
But it is clear to everyone that they find their jobs boring and seek and find joy instead in the video game.
How is the series rated? On the film platform IMDb, Dead Pixels received a rating of 7.3 out of 10 based on 720 ratings. In the written reviews, users say:
Cush1465 (9 stars): “Rude and crude, but also partly funny. Perhaps you have to be a gamer or at least know those who have this addiction to fantasy worlds to fully enjoy the series. Personally, I liked it and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a second season.”
Pumilliawolmary (7 stars): “This series is funny and rude and ultimately very entertaining. It’s about people coping with their boring jobs by living their ‘real lives’ in their favorite game. I love it to bits.”
Dan_emma (4 stars): “I hate comparing series with others. But it is so rare to find completely original ideas. [..] This is so similar to ‘The Guild’ that it seriously made me wonder if it was an official reboot. Maybe it was too American, so E4 decided something more British was needed.”
ianjones-70655 (3 stars): “This is a poor imitation of ‘The Guild’. Save your time and watch that instead. As a 36-year-old hardcore gamer with over 10 years of WoW, this series often gave me chills. It was not funny and not representative of gaming culture.”
It’s worth it if you don’t take yourself and MMORPGs too seriously
This is what our author Alexander Leitsch says: The producers have especially given Meg and Nicky some depth and development throughout the series. Meg also breaks out of the typical image with her way and her urge for sex.
Dead Pixels also shows how gaming and the normal world interact or often do not.
The six episodes, each just under 30 minutes long, are worth watching if you are an MMORPG fan and do not take yourself and gaming culture too seriously. Personally, I liked it better than the first episode of Mythic Quest:
The Twitch streamer Benjy “Benjyfishy” Fish (15) has fulfilled his dream. He has become a real Fortnite pro. His mother took him out of school for this. It seems to be paying off.
Who is this pro? The Fortnite pro Benjyfishy is a member of the NRG clan. He is one of the best Fortnite players and has participated in several tournaments.
In Fortnite tournaments, he often achieves a high ranking among the best Fortnite players in the world. On the page https://fortnite-esports.gamepedia.com/ his placements in various tournaments can be viewed.
Mother takes him out of school for Fortnite
His mother, who is also his manager, fully supports the 15-year-old. She registered her son out of school in May 2019 so that he could focus more on his gaming career.
Since then, Benjyfishy has been tutored at home by a private teacher. This way, he has more free time to focus on his Fortnite career.
Why is this decision worthwhile? Since Benjyfishy now has much more time for his Fortnite career, he can participate in many tournaments where he can earn money.
Overall, the Fortnite pro is said to have earned over $340,000 through tournaments. (Source: esportsearnings. com). Just $100,000 was awarded for the double qualification for the Fortnite World Cup 2019.
Moreover, he has over 603,000 followers on Twitch. Benjyfishy also earns money as a content creator on Twitch:
He receives donations there
earns money through advertising or potential sponsorship deals
Additionally, money comes in from subscriptions. A Twitch subscription costs at least $4.99 per month, of which the streamer receives at least half
What is the dream of the Twitch streamer? For Benjy, a dream is coming true. As he reported to the British Mirror , he has wanted to be a pro gamer since he was 13 years old.
This desire has now been fulfilled and Benjyfishy has become a real eSports athlete. He can now pursue his career as a pro full-time and earns a lot of money from it.
His goal is, he once said, to buy himself and his mother a house. He is now getting closer to this goal and it could soon come true.
One who has already achieved this is Jaden “Wolfiez” Ashman. The Fortnite pro could, when he was 15, perform excellently at the World Cup, raked in a huge prize money, and bought his mother a house with it.
Benjyfishy was also pleased about this change in Fortnite eSports:
In Dead by Daylight one can experience a new behavior for some days now. Unsatisfied survivors often let themselves die because they are not allowed to disconnect.
A few days ago, when a penalty for disconnects was finally introduced in Dead by Daylight, the joy was great. Those who regularly flee early from DbD matches by leaving the match have to endure long waiting times and penalties. However, this joy did not last very long. Instead of disappearing with a disconnect, survivors simply let themselves die.
What is the problem? As disconnects are subjected to increasing account penalties, survivors can only flee early from a match by letting themselves be killed on the hook without resistance. This, just like disconnects, leads to an unbalanced match. If a survivor is eliminated early, it is nearly impossible to have an exciting match. This is quite boring for both the other survivors and the killer.
Why do players let themselves be killed? There are many reasons for the early deaths of players. Some simply do not want to face a certain killer, while others are annoyed by their teammates. Some are also frustrated when they are found and caught first by the killer or feel “unfairly” treated, such as when they take a hit that they believe they should have dodged.
Community finds amusing solutions: Players are already joking about how to prevent other survivors from committing suicide. For example, there is the (ironically intended) announcement that the perk “Up the Ante” is now the new meta perk. “Up the Ante” increases the chance that survivors can free themselves from the hook even during a rescue attempt. Typically, players who want to die in the match try to free themselves, as this consumes their health bar. However, if they actually manage to save themselves, they look foolish and “have to” continue playing.
Killers, on the other hand, tend to not bring such players, who obviously want to die, back to the hook a second time and let them bleed out slowly on the ground.
Dead after the first hook? Happens often nowadays.
What can the developers do? Some players are calling for developer intervention to punish the early deaths on the hook as well. However, this could prove problematic, as “letting die” can also be a tactical decision to secure access to the hatch for the last survivor. Because once the last survivor is alone, the hatch opens as an alternative escape route.
Whether you’re a warrior, mage, or ranger, in the action RPG Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, you have the opportunity to create your own class. We present to you a current ranger build from 2020 that is particularly suitable for beginners.
If you prefer using a bow in Wolcen, the ranger is your choice. We show you the Frost Ranger build, which is excellent for leveling up.
For mages, we have the Pestlord and warriors dive into battle with the Blade Storm.
Good Wolcen Build for Beginners
Pro
Good for beginners
Easy to learn
Crowd control thanks to frost
Contra
Weak defense
Less damage than with fire
Your Main Attributes
Wildness: Increases your chance for critical hits and spells.
The Frost Ranger build relies entirely on Wildness. Critical hits are important, so invest every 10 points per level you gain into Wildness. From level 50 onwards, you can invest points in Wisdom to further increase the chance of freezing. Agility might sound reasonable for a ranger build, but your attacks are already fast enough. Therefore, you should distribute your attributes as follows: Wildness > Wisdom > Agility | Toughness.
Your Talents
Stings of Krearion: Frontal AOE attack.
Wail of the Arrow: AOE attack at your mouse pointer position.
Phantom Blades: Frontal attack without rage cost. Breaks through multiple enemies in a line.
“Death’s Harbinger” Railgun: High damage in the effect area. When the shot is charged, the effect area decreases, but the damage increases.
Mark of Uncleanliness: Curses the target and increases damage taken.
Notes on the abilities: You don’t unlock abilities in Wolcen by leveling up – like in other action RPGs. You can buy them from Demetra in Stormfall, obtain them through completed quests, or find them randomly while leveling. A bit of loot luck plays a big role in how quickly you can assemble this or other builds in Wolcen.
How to modify your abilities: In this build, you modify your abilities so that they mainly deal frost damage. The more often you use an ability, the higher it levels up and unlocks new modifications. Check out our gallery for which mods are the best fit:
Skills for the Frost Ranger Build in Wolcen
With each level, you receive a talent point that you can invest in the talent tree. The skill tree in Wolcen is quite complex and allows you to experiment a lot.
For the Frost Ranger, the following points are suitable:
Shift the circles to get from the Guardian to White Arrow
You need these main skills: Various main skills are important for this build. How you ultimately achieve them is up to you. However, pay attention to increasing critical damage, crit chance, status effect chance, and frost damage.
Area Guardian (First Circle)
“Background Hunter” increases your overall attack and spell speed by 50%
Area Ranger (Second Circle)
“Come what may” projectiles penetrate every target within 6m. Suitable for melee
“Meditative Focus” increases damage by 25% against enemies that are more than 6m away. Suitable for ranged
“Teaching of the Archon” reduces projectile damage by 50%, increases the fired projectiles by +1. Important for Phantom Blades
Area White Arrow (Third Circle)
“Winter Hail” causes projectiles to bounce and jump to the next enemy. Causes additional frost damage
“Acute Tracking” gives you a Cold-Blooded point every 2 seconds. With each point, your damage increases by 10%. Stackable up to 5 times
Area Assassin (Second Circle)
“Ruthless Lethality” increases critical hit damage by 100%, decreases normal damage by 30%
What to Pay Attention to When Equipping
Bow with frost damage. Optionally equipped with an Offensive 1 socket and a diamond for additional frost damage.
Armor with critical damage
+ Frost damage on physical attack
Crit chance
Elemental damage and status effect chance
Wildness > Wisdom > Agility | Toughness
How to Use the Frost Ranger Build in Wolcen
The frost build is easy to play. Especially in the lower level range, use Wail of the Arrow and Stings of Krearion to quickly decimate large groups. The Phantom Blades are excellent when your rage is at 0. Use the “Death’s Harbinger” Railgun on bosses and champion groups to deal high damage. Mark of Uncleanliness is initially only effective against champions and bosses but has its appeal in large groups at later levels.
Keep your distance and fire from afar. The Frost Ranger can quickly topple, slow down enemies with frost damage, and freeze them.
If you prefer to plunge into melee combat, then the warrior is for you:
In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), players gathered for a memorial to say goodbye to a beloved PvP player. The memorial took place on the EU server for PS4 in the PvP area of Cyrodiil. Many were impressed by how peacefully the ceremony unfolded. Zenimax will immortalize the player as a bear in ESO.
Who is it about? The player james999dylan was an important member of the community of The Elder Scrolls Online. He fought for the Ebonheart Pact in ESO on the EU server of PlayStation 4. He was apparently extraordinarily popular among friends and foes alike.
According to a YouTuber who recorded the funeral, James passed away just a few days ago at the age of 22.

This is how ESO mourned him: In honor of the deceased, hundreds of ESO players gathered in the PvP area of Cyrodiil to mourn together and pay their respects to the departed.
Impressive images of players in the MMORPG can be seen.
This image of the memorial service was shared on reddit, showing how many players attended.
ESO will immortalize the player as a bear named Semaj
This is what Zenimax says: The PvP lead of The Elder Scrolls Online, Brian Wheeler, has spoken up.
He says a bear named Semaj, with a candle and the symbol of the Ebonheart Pact, will come to the MMORPG with update 26. He will appear northwest of the “Temple of the Ancestor Moths”.
The bear will be visible on all servers, not just on the PS4 server.
This is what is being discussed: On reddit, many MMORPG veterans who know such funerals from other games are present. MMORPG funerals are notorious for being disrupted by PvP players who take the opportunity to rack up massive PvP kills by bombing the mourners with AE abilities.
Many on reddit express their amazement that the memorial service in ESO proceeded without such incidents. This is seen as a sign of how mature and adult the ESO community is.
Some say they do not know the deceased, but because so many attended the memorial service, he must have been an extraordinary person who touched the lives of many others.
A player found the exact outlines of two popular MW maps on the possible “Battle Royale” map of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Will they also come to multiplayer?
The clues for a battle royale in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are intensifying, and players are searching the entire game for more secrets.
Now, the outlines of two classic maps have been found again on the possible BR map, Verdansk and surrounding area, increasing the chance of being able to play these in standard multiplayer. Here you can see how to explore the possible BR map.
Battle Royale could be filled with old MW maps
Which maps were found? Redditor “evilonyx” diligently searched the alleged map of the possible Battle Royale “Warzone” and found concrete evidence of 2 more classics that are now definitely in the game:
Killzone – A small map reminiscent of a training ground.
Broadcast – A larger map set in a television station.

Both maps are visible from the CoD caster’s perspective in a local game. As the actual game center is very far away, the outlines are just barely recognizable, but clearly so. As a comparison, “evilonix” included the graphical setup in the post.
Will these maps come to regular multiplayer? This question remains exciting. Although several maps have already been discovered on the Battle Royale/SpecOps map, none of these cards have been online for regular multiplayer yet. Many of the found maps were part of a major leak that revealed possible modes and maps for the further course of MW 2019.
So far, only “Vacant” has been included. The “CoD 4” map was cleverly integrated into the “Ground War” map “Port of Verdansk” as part of the game and is also available as a 6vs6 variant. It is quite possible that we will get more maps from the old stock into the rotation. With Season 2, the MW2 map “Rust” was added to the current Modern Warfare.
Update: The new map of Season 2 “Atlas Superstore” is also located on the alleged BR map. As with “Vacant”, you can navigate as a CoD caster from the game area and explore Verdansk.
What else has been discovered? These are not the only maps that have been discovered so far. The battle royale could be filled with old favorite maps. The CoD soldiers are particularly requesting the airport level “Terminal”.
Season 2 with weapons and maps, but BR mode is the focus
What is coming with Season 2? In addition to the classic “Rust”, which will be available next week in a duel mode, the new season brings us another map (Atlas Superstore) and a packed battle pass, which brings 2 weapons back into the game.
Throughout the season, more content is expected to come. Another weapon has been confirmed through the roadmap, the multiplayer map “Khandor Hideout”, and new modes such as “Infected Ground War”.
When could the Battle Royale come? A known leaker made a bold prediction a few days ago and suspects the start of “Warzone” as early as February 18th.
We will keep you updated if there are new infos about the battle royale.
You have given us a lot of feedback about the upvotes and downvotes in our comment system. It has now been adjusted accordingly.
What was the problem? In the past few weeks, we have read many comments from you expressing dissatisfaction with the state of the upvotes and downvotes.
In the previous Disqus comment system, it was possible to:
see both the amount of upvotes and downvotes at the same time
see the names of the users who rated your comments
Both were not true in the new system, and this was criticized by you. In your feedback, you offered two possible solutions:
to make the names of users visible with upvotes and downvotes
This is what we have changed: From today, the downvote system for comments no longer exists. We thought long about which solution we wanted to adopt for the problem and opted for the systems as they are used, for example, on Twitter or Facebook.
You can now give an upvote in the form of a heart to comments that you find informative, funny, or simply good. Similar to what is already the case with our articles.
If you disagree with the content of a particular comment and would like to express it, you can gladly present your opinion in your own comment as objectively as possible.
Why not make the names of downvoters visible? In the old Disqus comment system, it was possible to see the names of the users who gave your comment a downvote.
However, this sometimes led to hostilities and harassment between users. Therefore, we decided against supporting this system on our site.
What’s next? Our “To do” list for improving the comment system is long and will be worked through over time. However, you are welcome to post further suggestions and requests in the comments. We will take a look at all of them.
Here is another overview of the updates that have already been implemented in recent weeks:

A parody of Red Dead Online, the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, has been recreated in Dreams. It is mean, but players also say “it’s accurate”. A session lasts only a few seconds.
What kind of game is this? Dreams is kind of a creative toolbox where users can really let loose. Here, players create games, images, and other digital experiences that can then be widely tested by the community.
Reimaginings of already released games are also welcome. Although Red Dead Online only launched in November 2018 and recently recorded a player record, it is now also found in Dreams.
One of the problems that official Red Dead Online faces is disconnects. And that is apparently the theme of the Dreams parody created by Rikkiscafe. You start the game, run for a few seconds with your cowboy, and what happens next is shown in the video by Reddit user iferraz2.

After you have controlled the cowboy for a few seconds, with admittedly stiff legs, you will see an error message. This is accompanied by a funny loser sound. Then, a restart of the game occurs, which ultimately leads to a crash again. And it keeps going like this.
You can find the game on Dreams with the description “How long will you keep playing?” – Here you can find it on indreams.me.
What is the problem? Players report that this portrayal of the Red Dead Online experience hits the nail on the head. One user writes, “I had a disconnect at Red Dead Online while watching the video.”
Apparently, disconnect problems are still a big issue for many players. At the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, the game also had quite a lot of struggles.
The voices of the players: The Reddit video of the Dreams game is well received. It received over 2100 upvotes and nearly 60 comments in one day. Players write:
“Super accurate”
“If there are no animal spawn issues, I would say 99% accurate”
“I thought this was dumb until … hahahah”
“I don’t get it – isn’t this real gameplay from RDO?”
With the Dreams toolbox, many cool creations are possible. Not all are intended as parodies; many actually provide a cool gaming experience. Check it out:
How much change to WoW Classic is actually acceptable? Has Blizzard gone too far by now? We want to find out with your help.
When Blizzard announced World of Warcraft Classic a few years ago, there was great excitement. Many craved the “Vanilla” world and quickly discussions arose about whether WoW Classic should receive some adjustments or if Blizzard should keep the game in its original state, as it was at Patch 1.12.
Very quickly, the demand for “#NoChanges” emerged, meaning to preserve the old state, no matter how flawed it may have been at that time. One argument and concern was that small changes would lead to a cascading avalanche of adjustments, bringing Classic closer to Retail, i.e. the modern WoW, over time.
However, WoW Classic has received a whole range of changes compared to “Vanilla” from 15 years ago. Some of these were already active at launch, while others followed in the past months. Here are just a few of the changes:
This is Blizzard’s argument: Most changes, especially to PvP, Blizzard justifies by fairness or that griefers and trolls should have fewer opportunities. It’s about exploiting unfair mechanics, such as forcing players through instance portals in battlegrounds, or similar. It is often stated that such changes would have been implemented 15 years ago if this behavior had been noticed regularly and on a large scale back then.
Community also wants changes: However, voices within the player community also wish for further changes. For instance, spawn rates for “Black Lotus” should be adjusted so that they appear in random locations and cannot be camped completely. Some slight changes to the PvP battlegrounds are also desired, so that the Horde, for example, cannot use a ambush strategy in Alterac Valley, which only became really popular in recent months.
Has too much changed in WoW Classic?
But now let’s get to you! How do you perceive the development of WoW Classic since its release? Has Blizzard introduced too many changes? Or have the adjustments so far been necessary and minor?
If you cannot see the survey, simply follow this link.
Anyone who wants can elaborate on their choice in the comments and explain why the current level of changes in WoW Classic is completely right or completely wrong.
The MMORPG Blade & Soul will soon get a new class in Korea and it looks truly spectacular.
Which class has been announced? The English (or German) name is not yet known. In Korea, it is called “천도사”. This apparently translates to something like “Power in Heaven”.
It is a spell-casting class that, according to the teaser video, controls the weather.

What can the class do? Not much is known yet, as the class was only announced with the video. However, it can be seen that it floats and summons lightning.
It is known that it is meant to be a Damage Dealer, mastering Area-of-Effect spells. This means the new class deals area damage and is particularly effective against groups of enemies.
What does the teaser show? We see the sorceress slowly lifting off the ground and summoning lightning in the air. All of this in the well-known anime style of Blade & Soul.
When will the new class be introduced? This is not yet known. However, it is expected to happen later this year – at least in Korea. Presumably, the new class will be presented in more detail in the coming weeks and then integrated into the game shortly thereafter.
We have to wait
How about us? We are lagging behind the content updates of the MMORPG Blade & Soul. They already introduced the first phase of the transition to Unreal Engine 4 late last year, with phase 2 starting at the end of the month. We are still playing with the old engine.
Will we get the new class before the engine transition? Probably not. It seems logical that the game will first be transitioned to Unreal Engine 4 here as well before the new content follows. So we just have to be a little patient.
The new action RPG Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem has only been live on Steam for a few days, but players are already raising alarm. Several exploits are apparently circulating that significantly impact the economy in the game. It seems that only a complete server wipe will help.
What kind of exploits are these? There are at least three exploits circulating that negatively affect the “economy” in Wolcen, meaning how much gold and how many powerful items players currently possess:
additionally, players have also found a way to earn unlimited gold
there’s a possibility to duplicate items
Team says: They are aware of the problems and are working on solutions
This is how the Wolcen team reacts: The Wolcen online servers were offline for most of the weekend. In a blog post about the situation, the Wolcen team states that they are aware of the other issues that have arisen, including those that affect the “economy” of Wolcen, and are working on a solution.
However, it is not known when these solutions will arrive or what they will look like.
Is a wipe imminent? The US website GameRant quotes Wolcen’s community manager, Calistaen, from the official Discord. According to him, no character wipes are planned.
The community manager says: A wipe would not help. First, it has to be ensured that this does not happen again. Source: Reddit
But if these exploits spread and threaten to make progression pointless throughout the game, one wonders how Wolcen plans to manage this without a wipe.
On reddit, a user has already called for a complete wipe of the servers because otherwise the economy of Wolcen would be completely destroyed.
This is what’s behind it: Gold exploits and item dupes are classic problems that loot games suffer from. The magic-find exploit seems particularly severe and leads to spectacular clips.
The Wolcen team is currently facing a lot of issues. It will be interesting to see how they handle the situation.
Update 12:12 PM: Wolcen has presented a plan for the solutions (via reddit):
the magic-find exploit is said to have been fixed with hotfix 1.0.3.0
the other “similar issues” are expected to be addressed later this week – presumably referring to the item dupe and gold exploit
Wolcen has had a tremendously successful launch on Steam, but the surge on the servers is causing serious problems:
You loved Max Payne and also enjoyed Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Control? If you are also into online games, then you might be interested in the next project from Remedy.
What is the developer studio Remedy currently working on? The studio is currently developing two expansions for the action game Control, which was released in the summer of 2019. However, there are already other projects in the works.
One of these is apparently a game based on the well-known online shooter brand Crossfire, while the other is a live-service game that currently goes by the codename Vanguard.
Control was released by Remedy in 2019.
What is known about Vanguard? Basically, almost nothing. It is supposed to utilize a live-service approach. This means it is a multiplayer game that will be continuously developed and expanded with new content.
The name Vanguard is derived from the translation “forefront”. A small team at the studio has been tasked with developing an innovative live-service game. The approach of a small start-up company is to be utilized to create a fresh perspective on live-service multiplayer experiences.
However, the game is supposed to meet Remedy’s quality standards and become something truly special. Since the studio is known for its tightly woven narratives, we could expect a story-driven online game here.
Is a kind of Destiny coming from the creators of Max Payne?
Who is Remedy anyway? The studio was founded in 1995 in Espoo, Finland. Max Payne, released in 2001, was extremely well received by players. In 2003, a similarly successful sequel followed. Alan Wake, released in 2010, attracted attention due to its long development time as well as its dense horror atmosphere.
In 2016, the studio released Quantum Break, a cinematic action game, and the current title Control was released in the summer of 2019.
What else is the developer working on? Remedy is collaborating with the Korean developer studio Smilegate on the upcoming online shooter Crossfire 2, or Crossfire X. Remedy is handling the story mode of the game. The new installment is expected to focus more on storytelling.
Additionally, there is still a mysterious project in the works. This apparently also seems to be related to the Crossfire brand.
The Twitch streamer Gigz is considered one of the top players in Destiny 2 overall. But without a weapon, even he can do little. Apparently, a hacker stole his weapon in PvP to show what he can do.
Who is Gigz? Connor “Gigz” White is a prominent figure among the content creators in Destiny and Destiny 2. He has been regarded as a strong PvP player for years.
On Twitch, he has 232,000 followers and has played primarily Destiny 2 last year (1154 hours), but also a bit of Apex Legends. In February 2019, Gigz signed a contract with 1000 Thieves, at the time it was thought that a thriving professional scene could emerge around Apex Legends. But Gigz has mainly remained a content creator.
Gigz plays in Destiny 2 and Apex Legends.
“Hello, look. I stole your weapon”
This is what happened to Gigz: Gigz was in the Crucible in the middle of a match when he suddenly found himself without a weapon. In Destiny 2, this is actually impossible: One always carries some weapon.
The player “Cloud” from his own team was chasing Gigz and shot at him multiple times, apparently to get his attention.
Gigz asked him, “Bro, what the hell did you just do?”
After that, Gigz continued to play slightly amused in PvP, not achieving much. He could still use skills and throw grenades, but not much went well.
After his death, Gigz had a weapon in hand again.
This is what was going on: This player “Cloud” seems to be using cheats or hacks. It is noticeable that he is shown as “down” in the kill feed without actually dying.
Additionally, there exists another clip of Gigz, in which Cloud appears, racing through the Tower and apparently enjoying the benefits of a speed hack.
Hacker just wants to play
This is what lies behind it: It seems that this Cloud is trying to show off with the hacks and therefore seeks proximity to the well-known Twitch streamer Gigz. The incident is further evidence that Destiny 2, especially on PC, is apparently susceptible to cheats and hacks. This has been complained about by the PvP community for some time now.
Bungie does not specifically address cheats or countermeasures. They merely emphasized that they employ a dedicated team that investigates such incidents and regularly wields the ban hammer. Bungie occasionally announces that ban waves have gone out in Destiny 2, but the problem seems to persist.
In the case presented here, the cheats only slightly affect Gigz’s gaming experience because the cheater apparently only wants to mess around. In other situations, however, such manipulations can cause lasting trouble and frustration, especially in competitive PvP.
It will be particularly important for Bungie to get hackers under control when the Trials in Destiny 2 restart. Otherwise, Bungie can expect a hot spring.
Yes, it is true. A Diablo series is making its way to Netflix. In addition to Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal, you should also be entertained by the franchise via streaming.
What is new? As Gamespot.com reports, Diablo and Overwatch from Blizzard will each be animated in their own series. The confirmation can be found on the LinkedIn profile of Nick van Dyk, who is the Co-President of Activision Blizzard Studios. He previously worked as a producer on the Netflix original series Skylanders Academy.
What kind of Diablo series will it be? The official information is sparse. The series will have an anime style and is still in pre-production. On the profile, van Dyk writes about his work experience:
Executive producer of Diablo, a TV adaptation of the IP from Blizzard Entertainment, which will be rendered in an anime style. The show is currently in pre-production for worldwide distribution through Netflix.

The release of the series is still a ways off, as work is still ongoing in pre-production. Rumors about such a series have been around for a while. In August 2018, Blizzard announced “multiple Diablo projects“.
This is what van Dyk writes: In addition to the Diablo series, information about an Overwatch project can also be found on the LinkedIn profile of the Co-President. He writes that he developed and sold a series based on Blizzard’s Overwatch IP.
It is unclear who bought the series and how it will proceed now.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare enters its second week of Season 2 and brings a few new modes and bonuses. Included are: A Duel mode on Rust, night vision action, and double weapon XP.
With a community update, the developers keep us informed and give an outlook on what’s happening in Modern Warfare this week. Two new modes are coming, and there’s another double XP event.
Rust gets Duel Mode, Reinforcement in the Dark
What was specifically announced? The developers usually formulate the community updates a bit vaguely. They don’t say, “This is the mode starting Tuesday,” but rather, “How about something like this?” And this time, the phrasing is equally ambiguous.
After a juicy “Valentine’s Day” weekend, there’s no better way to start the new week than with “NVG Reinforcement.” Or maybe… maybe your “Valentine’s Day” didn’t go so well? Duel with a potential soulmate on Rust! Or maybe you just need more double weapon XP…
So what new modes are coming? Modern Warfare announces two new modes with this text:
1vs1 on Rust – A Duel mode on the new, small map Rust
Reinforcement NVG – The team mode “Reinforcement” with night vision. Here, the goal is to capture the enemy points to revive your teammates and win.
Both modes have not existed in Modern Warfare before, thus bringing some fresh air to the playlist.
What’s going on with double XP? This announcement seems particularly vague. In the current playlist, there are special modes for the first time where you earn double experience points.
It’s quite possible that the developers will continue to use this new feature to increase the player count for certain modes. However, it could also be that we get double weapon XP across all modes. We will see that with the update.
When are the new modes and double XP coming? The playlist update takes place for us by default on Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
The new map “Rust” is currently the focus of several modes and is also set to run with its own mode.
What’s up with a 24/7 mode? Whether the current 24/7 mode continues on Rust or will be switched again remains unclear for now. Currently, the game mode is under the unusual name “Available,” since with the “Valentine’s Day” a few crazy mode names were introduced.
In the ongoing CoD week, players had to go an entire week without one of the popular 24/7 modes on the mini-maps “Shipment” or “Shoothouse” for the first time since release.
Since many players wish to have a permanent 24/7 mode with a small map in the playlist, we can assume that the fight will either continue 24/7 on Rust or one of the other mini modes will return. However, this is not certain.
The Long Wait for Battle Royale
Warzone is allegedly supposed to be the new mode.
“Warzone” is supposed to be the new Battle Royale and currently, no topic has been on the minds of Modern Warfare players as much as the potential 200-player mode. For almost a week, players have been increasingly demanding information about the BR and a gameplay leak revealed further details.
When the Battle Royale will come remains uncertain. At least it seems clear now that it is coming.
What do you think of the announced modes? Are you trying any of them out? Or will you only launch Modern Warfare again when the Battle Royale finally arrives?
CipSoft, the developers of the MMORPG classic Tibia, have launched the alpha of their new game Litebringer. Players can even earn money.
What is Litebringer? The fantasy online RPG essentially looks like a browser game. You create a hero from the classes Knight, Rogue, and Sorcerer and experience adventures in a large world. Over time, you improve the hero and become more powerful. For example, you can switch to special subclasses. It is important to adjust and upgrade your equipment before a mission so that you have a good chance against the monsters. All this is experienced in 2D graphics. The actions in the game take place in turns.
This sounds relatively familiar. But Litebringer has a special feature.

Read more about our privacy policy.
What is special about the game? Litebringer is based on the so-called blockchain. Blockchains are used in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and represent a constantly expandable list of records, also called “blocks”, which are linked together using cryptographic methods. Every transaction can be traced.
Litebringer is also based on a blockchain and cryptocurrency. LiteCoin is used, an alternative to Bitcoin. Every move you make in the game is essentially a transaction in the LiteCoin blockchain. Whether you improve your hero, complete a quest, defeat bosses, or collect loot, all of this increases the value of the currency.
You can earn money by selling your equipment, which has real value. You will then receive LiteCoin, which you can exchange for real money, thus generating income through playing Litebringer. Transactions are secure due to the blockchain. Over time, you should not only own an extremely valuable character but also earn real money – similar to the MMORPG Ember Sword.
Skepticism still prevails
What status is Litebringer in? The game recently entered an open alpha. However, this is currently still running without LiteCoin and serves only to test the system. When Litebringer officially launches is still unknown.
Who developed the game? CipSoft, who made a name for themselves with the MMORPG Tibia, are behind Litebringer.
How do players react to Litebringer? On reddit, the reactions are currently not very good. The fact that you essentially have to pay LiteCoin for every action to increase the value of the character and their equipment does not seem to be well received at the moment.
However, it must be said that there is still very little information about Litebringer. How it all plays out and how quickly you can earn money is still unknown. There’s a significant degree of skepticism in the opinions expressed.
Shinys are among the rarest monsters in Pokémon GO. Diligent collectors have already caught some specimens. Therefore, we want to know: How many Shinys have you caught?
These are Shinys: This special version of Pokémon looks different from the normal monster. It always has a different color and is significantly rarer to obtain.
During special events, such as the Community Day or Raid Days, there are better chances of finding a Shiny. Those who play a lot on such days are likely to have caught several Shinys.
Vote in our survey
How rare are Shinys? It depends on where you catch them. Legendary Pokémon from raids have a significantly higher Shiny chance than normal Pokémon in the wild.
There are also differences with babies from eggs or Pokémon that are already quite rare in the wild. The chances are also better there.
A normal Pokémon in the wild has a Shiny chance of 1 in 450. So theoretically, you would need to challenge 450 Pokémon of a specimen to find a Shiny.
Where can I see my Shinys? You need to enter the term “shiny” in the search bar for your Pokémon. Then you will see all the Shinys that you have ever caught, hatched, or traded. The total number of Shinys will also be shown at the top left of your screen.
Our author Noah has 717 Shinys – Can you keep up?

Gaming Launchers are now as common as sand on the beach. How many different launchers do you have installed on your PC? Tell us!
What is this about? In recent years, more and more publishers have decided to release their own launchers. Whether it’s for financial reasons or because publishers want all their games in one place, the number of different launchers continues to grow. Recent examples include launchers from Epic, Bethesda, Rockstar Games, and CD Projekt Red.
However, such specific launchers are not always welcomed by gamers. Many players are annoyed that they have to run more and more programs on their PCs to play all the games.
For others, it doesn’t matter whether there’s an extra icon on the desktop or not. They just want to play their games, regardless of whether they are exclusive to a particular launcher or not.
And how about you? How many different launchers do you have installed on your PC? Just one or several? Does it annoy you when publishers keep releasing their own launchers, or is it irrelevant?
How does the survey work? This survey ends on February 18th. You have the option to vote for multiple launchers, so feel free to click on all the ones you have floating around on your PC.
If you use any other launchers that are not listed in the survey, please write them in the comments.
Your choice cannot be undone, so be careful what you vote for.
